hey guys...hope eveyone had a very Merry Xmas and Holiday 😃

im here with another one of my bak-bak filled posts...read at your own risk 😆😆
now...correct me if im wrong...but...isnt dinner time supposed to be family time...in our house...the four of us (mom, dad, bro and me) are out of the house starting early in the morning...we all have work and things...so we dont see each other until the end of the day...our tradition is dinner together...the four of us always have dinner together...we get our food and we talk as we eat...it gives us a chance to share what happened in our day and various other things...we chit chat essentially...its a small bonding moment in our hectic lives...khaane ke saath saath baatein kaarte hai...iss mein kaunsi problem hai? i mean...Dadaji and Bua looked absolutely offended when Manvi started talking...these are grown adults who can eat and talk at the same time...they can multitask...woh log baache nahin hai...cuz kids, when they start talking they forget about eating...i dont see the problem is dinner conversation...i mean really...was it necessary to admonish her for talking to her sister...everyone was enjoying the story until Dadaji, Bua and their sada hua faces made appearences at the table...gosh...what is with the bade buzurg of the Vadera family? thodi si bhi uch neech hojayeh toh inko lagta hai ke pata nahin kya hogaya...on a side note...they value their uselessly ridiculous rules over the happiness of their nayi naveli bahu...shame on them!!
thats my rant for today...thanks 😛

with some of these rules .. i really have come to wonder why is the vadhera house like this? where did this need to control everything manifest from? From what and where did they shape these ideas and ideals, because if they go into any home or social environment than one or another of their rules would not be in effect. also, i have not seen them do that group chat every night like dadaji had told beeji during diwali that they do.. so when does everyone just "talk" and bond especially when certain topics or dialogues (like chachi's filmi dialogues) are given a blind eye or disapproved of?

mujhe kya pagal dogs ne kaata hai 😲...that ill go and talk to Swamini/Dadaji willingly...no no no no no!! im afraid if she even looks at me square...ill kill them both...but then again, that might not be such a bad thing! ha ha..
@ moksha89: haila...you are getting very deep here...manifesting of control issues...hmm...lets call Freud and see what he has to say...lol...i totally for got about that "talk" thing that Dadaji had told biji about...hmmm...they dont ever talk to each other...they simply stare at each other...bechari chachi just keeps blabbering to herself..uska toh baas ek Virat hi hai...lol...i feel bad for them...kahaan phas gaya iss baap beti ki rules ke chakar mein...😕

Aree with you Jaz. In my house, family time is a must during mealtimes. No reding on the table when we're eating. We all talk to each other, talk about the day and things that happened
Its when we connect the most.

I can understand if Maanvi is talking in excess and not letting anyone else get a word in edgewise. But it didnt look that way

And did you se the look on Swamini's face when Maanvi mentioned Jeevika sneaking into the kitchen to eat mangle pickles? It was just strange.
Jeevika obviously did it as a child. Many would think 'how cute' or, 'such a naughty girl grew up to be so mature'.
But Swamini looked at her as though "You should have known you would be a Vadhera bhau in the future, and should have controlled your behaviour as a child"

I think maybe thats why Swamini is still stuck in her Maayka, no one else would have tolerated her ridiculous attitude

Yuks

^^ i know righ?! some of our best conversations are over dinner...especially if we're having a big family dinner with all the massi's, bhabi's, bhaia's, Di's and Jijus...we laugh so much...it takes us hours to get off the table...😳 and omg you noticed that too...i DID TOO!! like she got seriously offended and couldnt believe that Vadera khanadan ki bahu wanted to eat aam ka achar at 2am...God save Jeevika when she gets pregnant...her cravings will have to follow these dumb rules!! 😆😆 i can just see...Jeevika going into labor two days b4 her due date...phir Dadaji kahega...yeh nahin hosakta...abhi bhi doh din baki hai...usse wait karna padega! 😡...budha khusat kahin ka 😛...but lol at your "you should have known" comment!! 🤣...i bet her sasural (if she ever had one) kicked her out...woh bhi uske rules se tang aagaye honge! 🤢

But Swamini looked at her as though "You should have known you would be a Vadhera bhau in the future, and should have controlled your behaviour as a child"
haha lol, completely cracked up at that comment🤣, this buaji is just too much her facial expressions irritate me so much! whenever Maanvi is talking it looks like she is about to cry!

I think maybe thats why Swamini is still stuck in her Maayka, no one else would have tolerated her ridiculous attitude
LOL, Probably, I don't understand how the rest of the Vadhera paarivar put up with her with the exception of dadaji of course like father like daughter...
any women at her age would not be living at her mayka's! and her comment on yesterdays epi "just because it's her b-day doesn't mean the whole mayka has to turn up" i mean how ironic is that... the irony is just dripping lol. and it wasn't the whole mayka it was member i think swamini is losing the plot 😆

about the topic - great one Jaz,
dadaji himself had said khana time is family time which is why you have to be on time (don't get the logic of that😕) but isn't family time about talking to each other and actually acting like a normal family. i didn't know you had to sit in silence and eat your food... now dadaji please explain to me how sitting in silence is family time?

@ meriyaar: omg i totally agree...her whole lecture about Jeevika's whole myaaka landing up...are you kidding me...one person came...not her whole family...the woman needs to get her eyes checked...and yaar...forget sitting in silence...he doesnt let his family eat if they are two seconds late...what is that!! i'm always the last one to the table...by dadaji's standards..main toh bhooki maar jati! 😡
@ cutegirl94: im paaka sure...these two have landed up from Mars or something...their alien families couldnt handle them so they dumped them here for us...tauba!
