Armaan stares in shock at the man who has called him to the abandoned factory. Then he lunges at him, pushing them both back to the shadows. They grapple with each other. Armaan screams, "Tujhe toh main nahin chodunga….".Vedika stares in horror.
All of a sudden they emerge in a spot where a shaft of light is shining fully onto their faces. The kidnapper's face is now visible.
It is……RAJ!!!
Raj: Abe yaar mera collar toh chod…..itna gussa…
Armaan : Just shut up! Kitne dino ke baad aaya….koi khabar bhi nahin ki…aur yeh kaunsa tareeka hai wapas aane ka?
He leaves Raj's collar and stands glaring at him for a moment. Then Raj gives a sheepish grin. They both fling themselves into each other's arms. Poor Vedika is astonished.😆
After they release each other, Armaan turns to Vedika. "Vedika beta, yeh hai tumhare Raj uncle…"
Vedika (wide-eyed) : Mujhe pata hai…..inhone bataya ki yeh aapke best friend hai….par agar aap best friends hai toh aap lad kyun rahe the?
Raj (bending down and cuddling the child): Lollipop, yeh toh tumhare papa ka aur mera pyaar se milne ka tareeka hai….(looks up and grins at Armu, who grins back)
(Awwwwww…..Parmeet and Apu were so obviously happy to be back together…..it was wonderful to see their camaraderie!👏)
As they walk back outside, Armaan carrying Vedika, he asks, "Lekin yaar, tujhe itni badi prank play karni ki kya zaroorat thi? Hum sab toh dar hi gaye the!"
Raj (swaggeringly) :Arre yaar, maine socha ki jab wapas aana hi hai, toh thoda dhamakedaar style mein entry li jaye!😆
He then explains how he planned it all. All this while he had been in Australia, establishing his new retail business. After a while, he missed everyone badly, especially his pal, and came back to India. When he called up GM to know what had ensued during his absence, Maddy picked up the phone. From him he learnt all the events of the last few months. He wanted to reunite with his old buddy in grand style, he warned Maddy not to tell anyone he had called, and then made his plan.
Since he did not know Vedika, he pataoed the Suris' old driver whom he had known since the golden days of GM. The loyal employee gamely agreed to play along with him. He met Vedika after school and persuaded her that he was going to take her to meet an old friend of her Armaan papa. Nave child 😕that she was, she agreed happily. Raj received her with great affection and then told her what to say on the phone. As expected, Armaan came alone….and the rest they both knew.
Armaan : Aur yeh 50 lakh…yeh kissliye maange tune?
Raj : Taaki tujhe lage ki teri beti ko le jaane wala koi chindi chor nahin, balki thoda standard ka kidnapper hai!😆
Armu: Aur agar main police ko bula leta toh?
Raj : Armaan, main tujhe itne saalon se jaanta hun…mujhe pata hai teri risk lene ki aadat…issliye main jaanta tha ki police ko batane se pehle, tu khud risk le kar yahan aayega! Aur waise agar police aa bhi jaati, toh mujhe pata tha ki tu mujhe zaroor bachaa lega!😉
Laughing and joking, they return home. As the car draws up outside the door, Jassi rushes out. Armaan gets out first and she stares frantically at him. Then Raj comes out, carrying Vedika.
Raj : Hell-o, Rani of Jhansi!!
Jassi stares in stupefaction. Armaan laughs at her expression and puts his arm around her.😳 "Kya dekh rahi ho Jassi? Yeh koi bhoot nahin, Raj hi hain!"
Jassi (gasping) :Aur….aur woh kidnapper?
Raj bows. "Woh main tha!"
By now the rest of the clan has come out of the house and are gazing in shock at the spectacle before them. Armu laughingly tells them to come inside with him so that he can explain everything. They follow in dazed silence, a thankful Jassi holding Vedika's hand tightly.
Once inside, Armu and Raj explain everything. All heave a sigh of relief. But Billu doesn't look too pleased.
After JandA have left for the Suris' home, taking Vedika, and Raj as their guest for the day, Billu tells Amrit, " Mujhe yeh Raj shuru se hi pasand nahin tha! Arre, yeh koi tareeka hai mazaak karne ka?"
Amrit: Jaane dijiye na….hamari bachchi toh sahi-salamat hai na!
Billu (impatiently) :Kaise jaane dun? Jassi ki haalat itni nazuk hai, dark e mare usse kuch ho jata toh? Aur Bebe….?
Bebe (overhearing) : Billu beta, maana ki Raj nasamajh hai, chulbula hai, par who dil ka bura nahin hai.
Billu : Bebe, mujhe toh ab jassi ki chinta ho rahi hai…kahin yeh raj phir Armaan ko uske purane raaste pen a le aaye…
Bebe: Tu kyun purani baatein le ke baith gaya? Arre, Armaan ko yaad kar, who tab kaisa tha…..aur ab dekh😳….Jassi ke pyaar main woh kitna badal gaya hai…..main toh kehti hoon, Raj ko bhi ek achchi si ladki mil jaye, toh woh bhi sudhar jaye….
Billu: Kaash teri baat sach ho Bebe!
Tomorrow: Raj is welcomed back to GM.
