I've just started watching this show and I'm sort of confused

if Moniya/Manyata got lost 16 years ago at age 3 then she's about 19 now right?

then how old is J?

Manyata looks so much younger than J, 😆

how old is Uday?

Maanyata is 20. Uday is almost 24. J is 16-17. Maanyata and Uday's age is okay but J's age-funda is really screwed up and the writers need to be whacked for that.

HEY J IS 17 , COZ SHE WAS A BABY WHEN MANYATA WAS LOST. UDAY LOOKS LIKE 7-8 YR OLD WHEN MANYATA WAS 3 SO NOW HE SHOULD BE BET 23-24 IN SHOW MAY BE EVEN MORE OLDER ,AS UNNTI HIS SISTER WHO IS YOUNGER TO HIM LOOKS ELDER TO MANYATA SHE SHOULD BE 21-22 ATLEAST.

more than J, I am more worried about Aakash's age...buddha uncle kahin ka! Pedo lagta hai whenever he is with or fantasizes about Manyata! Uday is just 😍

I am twenty-four as well😆. Yeah Akash seems too old for Manyata

Yeah u guys are right about the ages...its all messed up!

See, Manayata is supposed to be 19, which is fine [though she looks at least 2-3 years younger right now, but maybe a makeover will make her look 19]

Which automatically makes Akash a pedo...I mean he looks at least 29-30 right? A whole generation older than Manyata!!!

Uday is playing between a range of about 23-25 [my guess]

And Jay...she looks like she's in her early 20's [which could easily have been shown...I mean they could have made Manyata the younger daughter or something].

But Jay plays 16-17, meaning she should be in school, but apparently she's being shown a graduate from some univ in London. Whoah! And that's not enough, they are even planning to marry her off...dude she's not even legal [supposedly]...so yeah, there's a lot of confusion with the ages :)

To CV's : Look at their faces and do the math yaar, who looks younger?

And additional question to CV's : Who looks like a hotter male lead to you [which can even ensure a major hit soap?]

[nothing against Abhishek Rawat, he's cute...but its just that the DEK fans are talking HOT here...and thats only UV!!!]

All I really want to know how old is AKASH UNCLE.. I think he may be 35-40.. Although he looks older than this age .. hahhaa..

Uday and Manyata do look appropriate for their age.. J looks older than the age she may be.. must nothing can beat.. AKASH UNCLE.. LOL... Akash uncle.. I hate him. eekksss.. and I don't want to get started on "teeth ki dukan (shop).. Chikki aunty" and pea size brain wali Soni..

guys, I agree with some of you. But taking in every ones posts, I think it's safe to assume that

Moniya is about 20

uday is about 24

i don't think jay is 16 well apart from her older looks, i assume she's about 19 (one or two years younger than Manyata) because remember when she got kidnapped? and her mom got into shock? she said that she saw jay crying and decided to live for her other daughter? i'm assuming jay would have been about 1-2 years old which would make her about 18-19, which supposedly is okay..

and uday's sister, sorry forgot her name, she looks older (than uday himself haha) so i'm assuming she's about 22...

but this Akash?! about 45? take or add a few years ;)

nah,jokes aside I think he is supposed to be portraying about 25... okay age sort of for Moniya...

I hope that cleared everything?
