Story so far...
Geet tops in her class and is going to be awarded, she is super excited about the award as Mr Maan singh khurana is coming to present the award. She is a big Fan of his working style and the book written by him. Maan on the other hand comes to know that the talented girl has refused all offers of job but then thinks it's none of his business. He prefers to select the cream from best collage.
In the awards ceremony Maan is shocked to see the most simple girl coming up to get the reward and Geet is really nervous to see the aura of Maan on stage. But when she comes up and receives the reward Maan can see the surprise of beauty and knowledge within the simplicity. The confidence with which she speaks surprises him. He later on meets her and tries to convince her to take the Job offer. He gives her alluring offer of superb package and the chance to work with him directly. But Geet refuses and Maan is upset about her and that how could anyone reject the offer of job from khurana Group of companies.
Maan in the mean while goes to meet Vinod who seems to be very troubled on some issue but does not reveal the reason to Maan. Maan gets disturbed about it and when he reaches KM takes about it to his Dadima. Dadima gets the hint of Vinod's trouble as he have asked her favor several times but she then decides to bring her old kept promise to reality. To make Geet her Daughter-in-law.
Geet was given to Brij by Savitri Devi and so when she comes back and claim her he can say nothing as he knew this was to happen. He is also a very small person infront of Savitri Devi's hence respects all she says. He was also happy that Dadima wanted Geet to get married to her pota Maan but when Geet hears it she cannot accept it. She cannot bear how anyone could separate her from her family. But to keep Baba's promise and words and for village development she accepts. She gets the deal made that Savitri devi has to take care of the Village in this exchange.
Geet comes to KM but is very nervous that her would be is MSK whom she have refused the job offer. Dadima takes promise from Maan that he has to marry the girl she has selected for him. Maan at last agrees thinking his life is for his Dadima and he can never say no to her. Maan is shocked that it's Geet. Dadima gets them engaged in a very private affair.
Maan talks to geet and comes to know about the deal and gets really upset about it and decides to keep their relation just for name shake but Geet wants a fresh start for her life and hence tries to come closer to Maan and starts troubling him to get closer to him but once goes a little ahead and Maan is very angry at her. She goes to his room to keep sorry note for him and return the marriage deal paper but Maan misunderstands her and in anger misbehaves with her but Geet saves herself and gets upset with Maan for his low act. Maan realizes his mistake and tries to ask sorry but has to really put some effort and this brings them little closer.
Maan realizes that there is something in Geet's life that is troubles her but is hidden from him. He decides to give her time until she gains full trust on him. He tries to keep her happy by all means and also give her a good opportunity in career and chance to work with him. This makes Geet fall for him more and more and some of their encounters also bring a physical attraction for him in Geet's heart but she fears to open up or express her feelings. Whenever Maan tries to come closer to her she wants to come closer to him but gets nervous and goes far away. Maan decides not to force her. He keeps doing things to give her a fairy tale life which every girl from small town imagines of.
Maan comes to one day that Vinod will visit them and talks about Vinod to geet and Geet is excited to hear his name that she will meet such a big personality. While talking to Geet Maan realizes that Geet misses her family and so decides to take her to HP.
While on their way to HP he sees a complete new and real Geet who is a social worker and who had dedicated her life for others before he came into her life. He is very impressed by her and falls more and more for her. But when he reaches home comes to know some background of Geet's life that she is an adopted daughter of Brij and that her real family abandoned her and Dadima brought her to her Baba. She also tell him about her birth mark and the suitcase that may have something from her past family but she is never interested to know what it is, She hates them to core. But while telling the story she realizes that her love for Maan has reached such a limit that in front of his love she doesn't even feel the pain of her most painfull past. She also feels a strong physical attraction towards her.
