Awards don't matter to me: Salman Khan

Salman Khan is not the one who's worried about winning awards.

The actor who left an event right before accepting his award last year is happy with the audience feedback he gets.

At a recent awards function, Salman who was asked if he wanted to win that night, clarified, "I am happy with the rewards coming my way. People like me, my films, they go watch it in theatres. My films make money, I am happy. I am ok if I don't get awards."

Aamir Khan does not attend certain award shows, Salman is content not winning, seems like the Khans have indeed gone wiser.

@vanitygirl, were they to matter would he not gone on stage to accept them? so no they do not matter to him st this point in juncture.

yep.. good one.. paisa do awards pao.. and then say kisko chahiye awards:)

I feel like becoming the PR agent for these stars - I can also write poore ghise pite dialogues e.g. mere fans' love is more than any material award..

after 20 years in industry and no major awards does make someone to admit that "awards does not matter to me" is not surprising.
