Miley Jab Hum Tum-A Love Story To Remember
Early September, 2008. As usual a TV freak or better can say a serial freak me was watching Dill Mill Gayee, my favorite serial of that time, waiting impatiently for the add break to finish. Suddenly a promo showed of a average looking boy adding a title 'Samrat'. First I paid no attention. But when the promo showed again in the next break it caught my attention and I wonder what is this. No name, nothing just 'Samrat'. I wonder whether it's a add or a serial. Then next day again a promo showed of a girl named 'Nupur'. This time I found it little interesting and thought it must be a serial. But who care if Dill Mill Gayee was there.*silly me*' Then one by one the promo came out of 'Mayank', 'Gunjan' and 'Diya. But first time I liked it when they aired its first gang promo with a bit of humour and 'Love Bole Toh'' title.
I still remember at first I didn't like Mayank at all, the Mayank Sharma as he ws saying 'love'kitabon mein parah tha, kitabo mein hi hota hain' . What kind of guy is that who doesn't believe in love. A typically boring egoistic guy. Indeed had a handsome look, deep eyes of hazel brown color and a killing smile showing one cute dimple. And Nupur Bhushan'.a dreamy girl living in her fantasies, waiting for her prince charming. Indeed beautiful with big brown eyes, long silky black hair till waist and a adorning smile. If Mayank was reserved and a bookwarm Nupur was a mixture of loudness and cuteness. This kind of combination rarely attracted me till then. Specially when I loved totally opposite. Nevertheless I decided to give it a chance for Samrat-Gunjan, the other couple who was somehow mild and also as it was a college based show. I still remember how much the title track attracted me as I always hummed around 'hulchal ho dill mein, miley jab hum tum'suhane weather mein, miley jab hum tum'...
22nd September, the day came with its first episode showing everyone's introduction and a beautiful song 'bhage re mann' that was potraying Nupur's thought of her prince charming. I was liking the environment, concept, dress-up, characterization and with each passing day my liking was becoming into love'love for the show, love for Gunjan-Nupur'the most adorable sisters, and most importantly love for Mayank-Nupur. Being poles apart they started hating each other from their first meeting. But god wished different as they become partner for a presentation as well as dance competetion. I still feel the excitement of their dance audition in Talent Parade where first time I found the passion between them and how cutely they picturized the 'Ladki Kyun' song segment later on.
Then came the stunning 'Pyaar Ki Yeh Kahani' dance which was performed for the main event and I again got amazed to see the unbeatable chemistry between the two poles apart. And I started feeling that opposites do attract. They proved this statement 100% correct in the ahmedabad trip where they went to take part in 'Intercollegiate Academic Meet'. While at times I was laughing madly at their never ending fights, the next time I was in awe to see their very first hug and eye-locks. Here slowly the hatred between them faded away and friendship took place. Then came 'Khuda Jaane' rain dance sequence and that was it. I knew there is no way I could back off now. This was the first time when the haughty Mayank felt something beyond friendship for Nupur. Totally awed by the fully drenched Nupur, staring at her innocence and beauty.
Anyway their growing friendship, Mayank's changing feelings towards Nupur, his numerous efforts of denying the fact that he is in love with Nupur and forget the feeling, but finally accepting it, his confession to himself of his love, the dreamy 'Jaage Jaage' sequence, Mayank's mission to make Nupur realize her feelings, Mayank's simple gesture, Nupur's shyness, her growing feelings all was so simple yet magical that I lost myself in them. In the 'Mere Hath Mein' segment of their college play they showed another eye-catching hug portraying emotions and passion at the same time and I felt my heart beating vigorously.
It was 1st July, 2009, the day came with the most awaited moment, when they finally confessed their love to each other after a lot of crying and missunderstanding that too infront of a hall full of audience, obviously for the play on stage. I was literally jumping, dancing on the couch, smiling like anything, doing 'yesss'yesss'yipppiii' and then when a content and crying Nupur runs and jumps off into Mayank's open arms I found myself silently shedding tears in happiness. No doubt this is the best confession I've ever read or seen anywhere till date. Their watery eyes and that content smile on their face was showing how magical is the feeling to love someone and to be loved by someone. The first feeling of being in love, the awkwardness, the apprehension all was so obvious after the confession and when the rain showered its blessing on them they forgot rest of the world playing and chasing each other. Finally collapsed in the ground, holding each other's hands and enjoying this beautiful moment of love.
How can I forget the second confession which was as magical as the first one. After almost on the verge of break-up finally mayank confessed his love publically infront of a road full of people giving Nupur what she wants. The public acceptance of their love. Nupur ran into his open arms yet again in the midst of a hundred people while Mayank picked her up, holding her tightly against his chest as giving her the assurance that no matter what situation comes he'll never ever leave her. This confession leads to the mesmerizing, passionate, unforgettable 'Pehli Baar Mohabbat' song sequence where Mayank stays Mumbai for just one night to be with Nupur before leaving for Bengaluru with his mother.
As Mayank asked Nupur for permission to feel the closeness I felt myself melting to see the respect he holds for Nupur. Since she completely believed him gave him the permission and they took their relationship a little ahead to understand each other better while share a private moment with their first hevenly kiss. Their burning chemistry just took my breath away and I feel my heart stopped beating.
Dated 22nd January, 2010, when finally they tied up in the sacred bond of marriage after a lot of pushing n pulling. I never wanted to see them married so early but when they finally got tied up my happiness knew no bounds. Afterall it was the marrige of the most loveable couple whom I love to death. Being a young college going couple they had to face many obstacles infront of them but the maturity they showed in such a young age was surely praiseworthy. It's not that they never had fights or missunderstanding but the one thing that was constant in their relation was the love they hold for each other. With this they always get over all the problems and became the support system of each other. It ends on 19th November 2010, on a happy note while fulfilling all their wishes and god blessed them with twin baby boys.
It was just a small glimpse of my eternal lovebirds. There are so much to say and so much to feel. I can go on and on since their love story is so precious and I can never stop myself go gaga over them and praising them. I love this show cause it says the simplest things in a beautiful manner and the characters were very close to reality. But I don't love this show only for Mayank-Nupur, also cause it has always been different from all the other shows as it showed much more than a common love story. Like Gunjan-Nupur, the best sister I've ever seen in my life and their bond was so strong that nothing effected their relation for once. No matter what problem occurs they were always by their side. Samrat-Mayank, they showed the thing which is never shown in any show, true male bonding and true friendship. They were with each other whenever they needed. It showed true friendship, importance of relations and taught us what is true love. A gang like this gang has never been shown in any show. They shared all the emotions of life from fun to sadness. They seem like a big happy family who have seen different aspects of life. Thats why after a whole year of its ending I still can't get enough of it. After this I've never get addicted to any other shows cause the completeness I found in this show was nowhere in the others. I'll cherish its each and every moment forever in my life.
Ok i know guys u must be feeling hell bored reading this and some must slept till now...sabko pakane ke liye so sorry but sari kasoor anila (18anila1) ki hai...I didnt want to post this crap but she ws pushing me so hard that i had to post this on her req...so all gussa, tomato, shoes goes to her not me..😆😆
.But well jo bhi hai its from my heart that says i really love them and miss them...Noone can ever replace their place...
