I think Jai already knows that Jigs made bani sit in the mandap as she had blurted out when she found out Anu is pregnant and Bani was supporting her.

actually Jai already knows that coz she was the one who convinced him to marry the sister to save the family honour and then she blurted it out during the Anu pregnancy drama in the house... remember?
