ANOTHER CHANCE..

4 YEARS LATER..

Maan was walking aimlessly along the road..

It was four years since anyone in his family had talked to him..

It was four years since he had become aloof..

It was four years since he had actually smiled..

And It was four years since he had last seen her,his Geet,his love..

It had taken him months to realise that he had fallen for her..

He also realised that ever since the first time he had seen her photograph when he was 18 he was in love with her..

Every night he had cried,pleaded,begged to her photograph asking her to come back to him..

He even searched for her in New York,California and the whole of the continent but there was no sign of her..

He was today a ruthless business man,but he knew he was nothing without her,without his Geet..

He took out his wallet and looked at her photo and kissed her on the forehead and said,"tum kahan ho Geet?please tumhare Maan ke paas vapas aajao"

DELHI AIRPORT..

"Mumma,Are we really going to stay here?"a four year old girl asked her mother.

The mother nodded at the girl and said,"It's the best place I know,Diya"

Geet looked around the airport.A lot had changed over the years.She felt tears gather in her eyes but quickly blinked it back and said to herself,"No,I've to stay strong.I've to be strong for my daughter"as she led Diya into a cab.

Maan entered the office building and saw it was silent and the staff were working quietly.

"Perfect!"he thought and called Sasha,the manager into his cabin.

"No baby,you shouldn't cry.See there are so many kids out here"Geet said as she wiped Diya's tears.

It was Diya's first day at school and as Geet had expected,Diya was making a fuss.

"But...mamma...I don't wanna go"she whined admist sniffles.

Geet sighed and said,"Diya,If you'll be a good girl mamma will get you anything you want!"

Diya's eyes lit up."Really?"she asked.

Geet nodded.Diya thought for some time and then said slowly,"mamma mujhe bhi ek papa chahiye"

Maan entered his cabin and heard Sasha read about his appointments.Strangely his mind was not concentrating.

He didn't know why but his heart was somewhere else as if something great is going to happen.

"...we've a new secretary.Anything else MK?"he heard her say.

"No.You may leave"he said.

Geet's heart stopped beating for a second and tears gathered in her eyes.

How would she tell her daughter that she was an illegitimate child?

Geet smiled fakely and said,"Go"

Diya planted a kiss on Geet's cheek and ran inside..

Geet stood infront of the big building and swallowed the lump in her throat.

How the hell was she going to work under India's most successful business man?

With deep breaths she entered the office..

Maan was completely diverted.He didn't know why but he felt she was here.

He felt nervous excited and much more..

He was facing his back towards the door when there was a knock.

"Yes"he said and turned around to face the person who entered when his heart skipped a beat..

There stood Geet..
