Chapter #1 - The Vibrants Colours of Life

It was an amazing morning. The birds were chirping excitedly for the arrival of the new morning. He woke up from his bed and checked the time. The digital clock that hung on the room's wall read 10.30 AM.

He stiffed a yawn and headed for the washroom. He had to be at the dock by 11.00 in the morning.He knew he would be late but least did he care!

A group of friends were walking towards the Dean's room. There were a million emotions running through. They held each other's hands knowing it could be the last time they would do that.

"I'm scared yaar!" The brunette one said.

"Me too!"A male voice chirped in.

"Me three "Another man said. Among them there was a mute listener of the conversation.

They stopped in front of the door and took a deep breath and said in unison, "Fingers Crossed"

He made his way down the stairs and checked the dining table. The butler was cleaning the table.

"Good Morning Mohmed" he said.

The man just nodded in acknowledgement and left.

He made his way towards the living room before he heard a voice singing his favourite song "Just wanna be with you"

He knew this voice-the voice he'd recognize in millions-the voice of Samira!

The people stood in front of the dean with their heads down.

"Mm...Interesting performance in the 'COUNTY SIDE'..Great variety of flavors I guess..Great going!" the man said.

"Thank you Sir!" Kabir said.

"Well we're happy with your performance and so we want you to be the Caterers and the wedding planners for the Wedding of the Khuranas." the man said.

The friends looked at each other trying to hide their smiles. They knew that this time the Cup Of Glory would be theirs..

He slowly peeped into the room to see Samira perched upon a stool and her fingers gliding gracefully along the keys of the piano.

The friends came out of the room and jumped with joy. Abhay, Tanu and Kabir embraced Geet in a bone crushing hug.

She smiled through her tears and said, "Thank you Guys..Thank you for everything!"

"You're the best" she said.

"Oh, Geet, of course we're" Abhay laughed.
