Blame it on the paani puri

Sonu Niigaam is down with stomach infection after digging into roadside fare including paani puri, chaat and rajbhog, last weekend.

"I was in Delhi for a few days and over the weekend I had ganged up with my cousins and let myself loose over street food. The aftermath: my stomach has gone for a toss," he says.

Doctor ko bulao!

The singer resorted to medical help, "The stomachache was unbearable and I had to take an injection to get relief. The doctor says that I should be fine in a day's time.

Presently, I'm thriving on a very light diet." However, the singer remains unfazed by such health hazards. We hear the actor flew off to Lucknow for some professional commitments.

Ek baar chalta hai

Talking further about his eating habits the singer informs, "I'm a careful eater. You will hardly see me munching on junk food. I prefer homemade food anyday. Though, I believe you should give in to the sinful pleasures at least once in a month. But this time my joyride went bust."

Lamhe with Lama

Of late, Niigaam is busy playing with his toddler nephew, Lama.

"Recently, I accompanied Lama to his play school and I wanted to shoot a video of his first day at work. The cam didn't record anything and I'm quite pissed off," he says. He further informs, "I call him Lama because he looks exactly like a Buddhist monk."
