Geet went to the Khurana hotels and some how managed to get Maan's secretary Pinky's number, she called Pinky

P: hello, Khurana group

G: hello madam, may I talk to MSK

P: may I know who is speaking?

G: myself Geet Handa

P: why do you want to meet him?

G: why?

P: yes you have to tell to get an appointment

G: but I just want his contact number

P: sorry miss, we are not suppose to tell that

G: if you could just ask him and tell him that I want to meet him

P: wait let me try be on line

Pinky dialed MSK's extension

M: yes

P: sir a lady named Geet Handa wants to meet you

M: why?

P: don't know

M: then

P: sir she says you know her

M: (laughs): Pinky you know why these girls say such things and as for my memory goes I don't know any one by this name even surname

P: ok sir

M: you handle her

P: thank you sir

She sighs and then takes Geet's call

P: hello

G: ji

P: sorry miss, but sir is not able to remember your name

G: ji (disappointed)

P: sorry

G: it's ok

Geet was totally disappointed she did not know what to do, she thought then why did he sign her form and help her get the loan when here he just denies knowing me, may be something to do with his speaking problem or may be his wife

She thought of contacting the Bank to get his number but decided against it, she left the things for a while and sat thinking what she should do, shall she take a business appointment

Just then her cell buzzed, it was Manpreet

G: hello Di

MP: hi NT, how are you?

G: fine

MP: are you free tomorrow

G: yes, at what time?

MP: in the morning 5 to 9

G: at 5 Di I have to see to deliveries I will be free by 7

MP: ok come at 7

G: what occasion?

MP: Sukhmani Sahib Paath

G: oh, Di I will be there as soon as I am free, but I don't know where you live

MP: its not at my place

G: then

MP: it is at the farm house, write the address

G: ji Di

And after noting the address she bade her good bye

Next day at the farm house

Maan Prem and Manpreet were busy with the Paath, Prem was greeting the people who were coming and Maan was taking care of the Prasad preparations, while Manpreet was busy with the women arriving and helping Maan and Pari was sitting near the centre of the musicians

When Geet arrived she was greeted by Manpreet and was asked to be seated but Geet offered to help and was directed to the kitchen inside the house where the caterers came to take things.

After the Paath was up Manpreet called her top join others for the Prasad and she came out, in midst of the crowd she noticed Maan, he was serving the Prasad, she was amused to see him, his hair tied well with a handkerchief, (imagine dargha MSK) she tried to reach him but as she was at the other end of the hall she failed.

As the crowd started dispersing, Maan took Pari and left Geet was not able to meet him, and on the other hand he saw her but thought but was his imagination.

While he was leaving Manpreet came

MP: Maan wait

M: Manpreet , Pari is getting late for her school

MP: just a minute, I want you to meet someone

M: who?

Pa: my Maasi

M: Manpreet I don't want to meet her

MP: why?

M: she is Myra's sister

MP: but

M: please now I am going

And he left
