Two days has been passed since that incident and not once did she see Geet. Maan kept his promise of not coming near her anymore or in front of her to cause her any pain but somehow him not being in front of her causes her more pain.
Why does she needs him to be here with her?
Is she really ready to trust him again?
Is her heart opening up to her again?
Regaining the same feelings she once had for him?
She was so confused on what to do. She tried to catch a glimpse of him at night hoping to be there when he returns home from work but her sleep betrays her all the time. Just yesterday, she waited at the dining table for him to come home. She didn't know why but she did. When she woke up the next morning she found herself on the bed with no sign of Maan anywhere.
Today, there was a party at Khruana Mansion; for two ocassions: One-clebration of Dadima's return from her teer-yatra and second-today was Dev and Naintara's wedding anniversary. She didn't know what to do..of course she knew she has to attend the party but she didn't know how to face Maan. After two days, she will be seeing him...what will be his reaction...what will be her reaction?
Will he again talk to her?
Make her understand?
Ask for her forgiveness? Which is not even sure if she can or is ready to.
Ayush quickly comes to the room carrying a package..she looks at the way he was dressed and sighed. He was wearing a kurta pajama but was holding his pajama in his hand trying to prevent it from falling down. While in his other hand he was carrying a wrapped package. She takes the package from him and puts it on the bed before bending down on her knees to come to Ayush's height.
Geet; what is this? (She says pointing to his pajama)
Ayush: I don't know how to tie it...since papa is not here...I came to you
Geet (sighs) okay let me show you...You take these two strings in each of your hand and then you go over and under...then you make two loops with each and pull it through..like tying a shoelace...
Ayush: ohh..that is so easy...
Geet (kisses him on his cheek) Yeah...see nothing is hard if you just take your time out to think
Ayush: you know what is hard mom
Geet: What?
Ayush: Math...(Geet laughs) I don't get it..and all my friends...even Annie makes fun of me...(he makes a face)
Geet: math is not hard Ayush...I will help you and then you can show your friends how smart you are
Ayush (smiles) Yeah I will show them..Papa is smart..I will ask for his help
Geet (pouts) you don't need my help anymore
Ayush: I do..maybe in drawing...that is easy
Geet: i can help you in math too
Ayush: I know..but its not for you...its really hard...(Geet laughs..he hears Annie calling) Okay mom I am gonna play with Annie...
Geet: okay and make sure you stay with Dadima or anyone from home...
Ayush: okay bye...
Geet gets up smiling after Ayush's talks..she looks at the package on the bed. She sits on the bed and opens the package. She sees a note on top of the material...she takes the notes and reads it...
"A beautiful present for a beautiful girl..."
She knew who it was from..she holds the sari in her hand..it was an orange netted sari..with sequences all around the border of the sari and the blouse...she holds it in front of the mirror again...she saw Maan standing behind her with a smile. She quickly turns around only to have him disappear. Confused at her own actions and feelings..she slowly went to the bathroom carrying his present.

Geet entered the house wearing the sari that Maan gifted her. Everyone looked at her and smiled, stunned to see how beautiful she is...she looked around the room for Maan as she slowly walked toward Dadima..but he was no where to be seen.. disappointed..she goes to Dadima sadly smiling at her. She gives Geet her blessing. The whole room goes dark...in the center stage everyone saw Dev and Naintara dancing..Dev held the microphone signing to her...

Geet walks around smiling...looking at them..she looks around for Maan but still don't see him...she smiles at Dadima at her. she sees herself dancing with Maan...she smiles...he spins her around and brings her in slowly...Maan touches her face..slowly caressing it...Geet just looks at him with a smile...she comes out of her trance when Ayush hugs her leg...she bends down kissing his cheek while he ran away...

She sits at the dining table...still looking out for him..she gets up when she saw him all the way back in the crowd...she puts her head down and looks at him again but saw him gone..she walks around to the back where he was standing...but there was no trace of him...she touches the curtain..she could feel his aroma there...she looks around with sad tears...
Maan stood behind the pillar...looking at Geet...she was sad without him...it kind of made him happy but sad...He tapped Geet's shoulder..with a smile..she turned and was shocked to see him standing there before her...he puts his hand out...Geet slowly puts her hand on top of his..he leads her to the door...she wraps her arms around his neck..both looking at each other with tears...he wipes her tears away..she places her head on his chest...enjoying his closeness...

He comes out of his dream when someone runs into him...he moves away from there going to another place...Geet goes to the same pillar where Maan was standing before...she could smell his cologne...she looks around...still not finding him...she follows his scent..as if it is part of her now...she stops at the stairs...the same stairs where she once stepped down to leave forever...she puts her hand on top of the pillar as she slowly ascended the steps...

She saw herself walking down the stairs broken and with tears..using the pillars for support to hold her into pieces...she stops in the middle of the stairs staring at her past self...her past self looks at her smiling...as she moved down...
Geet moves up slowly...remembering the moments she spent here with Maan...she saw herself running away from Maan as he chases her above the stairs...she smiles...she still remember that day...Maan wanted to kiss him but her feeling shy ran away from him while Maan chased her, finally after few minutes of chase..he picked her from behind and twirled her around...

She goes to the dressing table...and opens the drawer..she holds her sindoor box in the middle of her palm..she looks at it with tears...she sits on the dressing table chair and looks through the stuff..it was all hers...still the way she left it... perfectly preserved...she gently puts the box down and gets up to leave...as she was leaving..she looks at the closet...
slowly walking toward it..she opens it...it was only filled with couple of Maan's clothes...she gently touches the clothes..remembering the time when she used to take his clothes out before he came out of the shower...she saw a box at the corner of the closet as she moved couple of clothes

She opens the box and was shocked to see all the broken stuff that she threw before leaving...she drops on her knees..looking at the flower that was broken from her gajra, her broken bangles, a piece of cloth from her ripped sari...it was all here...she cries looking at the box unable to control them anymore..she looks up when she saw two pair of feet in front of her..she saw Maan looking down at her...

He slowly bends down and helps her get up by holding her shoulders...he looks at her and then at the box...both look at each other with pain and tears...he goes on his knee and hugs her waist...
Maan: Please forgive me...I can't live without you...you are my life...(Geet just stood there motionless as Maan cried holding her waist tightly hiding his face on her stomach...) if you can't forgive me then kill me...(He holds the poison bottle in front of her..she looks at him shocked) I would rather die from your hands then anyone else's...(she holds the bottle looking at it and then at him...)
