If the Modis punish her by sending her away or misunderstanding her ways to become good then they will never know what Rashi was capable of in the past ( including setting the temple and Hetal on fire). Rashi's true nature has to come out so that they can understand how innocent Gopi is and also Gopi will know how Rashi has always treated her. hence, the Modis need to punish Rashi in a subtle manner, but she needs to be punished otherwise there is no poetic justice shown in the serial.
They should show Rashi Jigar love story the last of all in the serial so that the change in Rashi is believable. Of course she should be shown as changing and becoming a better person, but it should not be an overnight miracle change- as with Gopi they keep showing her dumb and never bother to change her swiftly, then why Rashi unless the CVs prefer the actor and wish to project her over others.
