In a shocker, Piya's father Arnab Dobriyal has been turned into a vampire in STAR One's Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani. Prior to the three-month leap, Arnab was taken away by one of the vampires.

In the episode that sees the jump, Chand goes to the vampires to be pardoned, but is shocked to see Arnab Dobriyal amongst the rank of vampires. Chand immediately realizes that Arnab is now a vampire.

A STAROne.in source informs us that Haseena and Chand, who were trapped by the vampires in their attempt to save Abhay, are finding it difficult to survive without blood. "Haseena, Abhay's mother cannot resist the punishment and asks her husband, Chand to speak to the vampire clan to seek their forgiveness. However, the vampire chief tells Abhay that Haseena betrayed the vampire clan and allowed Abhay to become mortal. While being addressed, Chand recognizes the vampire head and is shocked to know that it is Arnab. He asks Arnab how he became a vampire and that is the major crux of tonight's episode," says the source.

When contacted, Chand Raichand said that he was shocked that Arnab Dobrival had left his family and pledged allegiance to the vampires and became one of us. "I cannot believe that he left his family. A lot has happened over these three months," says a visibly disturbed Chand.

When contacted, Arnab, who is now a vampire revealed that becoming a vampire was difficult, but he is glad that he made the decision. "I have no emotions and use logic to make my decisions. This is good for me, as I don't have to think irrationally while dealing with the Raichands. They are all my enemies, especially Abhay.
