---Meera ,Divya and Geet sat together----

Meera :Akka your necklace is so beautiful ,such a wonderful design ,even I'll take one like this.

Divya : Meera ,It's my mother-in-law's selection even she prefers simple jewellery.

Meera : Akka I am not able to believe that you are going to get married.

Geet :Areh but why all the preparations are going on with full swing . Shopping of saris

done ,jewellery , decorations , hall , guests ...and ...and...not to forget the most

important part secret phone calls and messages ,right akka

Geet and Meera started to tease Divya

DIvya : Geet plese!! Just wait...once you marriage gets arranged then I'll talk to you.

Meera :Akka don't divert the topic ,waise you know, if things have gone right ,another

marriage would have been settled.

Divya : Whose marriage???

sailaja saw Maan she lost interest in the match !!!

Divya : Ohh..waise Maan seems to be a good guy ,he helps a lot in the marriage

preparations. And I even I talked to him yesterday ,he talked very nicely ,no attitude at

all as we all thought.

They both talked about Maan but she didn't utter a single word .

She peeped out of the window through which the main hall can be seen ,she looked out

and her eyes caught Maan talking to some people about the arrangements ,she kept

looking at him he was busy in his work.

"What's so special about him?? Why do people talk about him??

Why is getting impossible to ignore him?? Is it just because he has slowly become a part

of my family or just because people keep talking about him??

He went out ,Geet closed her eyes

Oh God!! Did I just say "part of my family"!!

Ayyo ...what's happening to me!!

She hit her forehead.

She felt a pair of hands tapping her shoulders Geethu?? Khaha kho gayi??

Nothing akka ,I was just thinking of something.

Divya : Something or someone??

Akka!!

Meera : waise Geet tomorrow you have to go to the Kalyana mandapam for some

arrangements and also to order the flowers ,with Maan

MAAN!!??

Yeah Aunty told me to tell you do get ready early in the morning!!

Just then they all heard someone shouting in fear.

Geet ,Meera and Divya ran out of the room to find out what has happened .

And when they reached the other room they found out that Rajan anna's mother fainted.

Rajan was worried about his mother

Rajan : Koi Doctor ko bulaao ,jaldi pls!!

Relax anna ,I'll just check

Geet went near his mother to find out the problem ,she checked the pulse brought her

medical kt and continued with her checking

But on the otherside her son was getting hyper.

Arreh maine kaha na ,kisi ko yaha kisi ko doctor ka number pata hai

Geet went near him ,Anna relax She is okk ,nothing to worry ,I'm a doctor and

i know

right ...so relax nothing has happened It's just...

Ohhh...shut up Geet!! You are just a new doctor and how can I trust you??? I

can't take risk!!

Call any other doctor ,Just call someone else

He was not ready to listen to Geet

His behaviour started to irritate Geet

I can't take risk!!

Risk ???

She was totally irritated .

Look Mr.Rajan ...what's your problem.

As a doctor it's my duty to treat a patient ,even if you don't agree for some stupid

reasons!!

And now please stop shouting and stop disturbing her.

Please for god sake!!

Geet left the place in anger.

But Geet was so disappointed by his behaviour

"No matter how many years pass ,people just don't change!! Why don't they

realise

that I'm no more the small innocent girl whom they can just take and throw

away like a

leaf!! How can he question my abilities for some stupid reasons!!"

The next day Geet got ready early in the morning .

He leaned out of the window to watch for Maan ,she saw Maan waiting for her

on a bike.

He was in his usual avatar ..no oil no ill fitted shirt ot something weird like

that, may be

because it was early in the morning.

Arreh..yeh itni jaldi aa bhi gaya niche..I hope he isn't waiting from a long

time.

Geet ran towards the bike.

Hi Geetha Good Morning

Kab se wait kar rhe ho??

Zyaada nahi just 10 mins.

Geet sat on the bike and they both went throught the road ,but Geet was

somewhat not

happy ,yesterday's incident was still disturbing her.

Maan stopped the bike .

Geet get down

Get down

She got down maan too got down and took her near a rock and made her sit

and he sat

beside her

I never expected this from you Geet!!

Geet I know what's irritating you ,I got to know the incident from Meera, Geet

why are you letting anyone influence your life so easily

Geet I know you didn't like his behaviour but Geet it's ok ,why is it bothering

you so much .Why are you getting angry

If 9 people appreciate your work they'll always be 1 person who might not appreciate

your work so will you let him influence you??

So there's no need to get angry ,You know Geet you are one of the most genuine

persons I have ever met with a wonderful nature and behaviour, and don't let this

precious qualities get affected by someone's words. It's really precious

Geet looked into his eyes ,he is right why am I so disturbed !!!

I think you are right Maan ,I don't know why but it started bothering me so much ..!! I

mean I don't know why??

Maan sat on the bike and Geet sat behind him ,she kept her hand on his shoulder for support .

A smile cropped up on her face .

"Until then she knew Maan ,her amma appa always liked him inspite of his not-so-

serious attitude.

Her parents always guided her but never took descisions on her behalf ,but she always

listened to her parents because they always guided her towards the right path

They very well knew her ,and they only needed one thing her happiness.

But she always felt that something was missing ,something that made her feel that how

can things happen so fastly ...but now after this small incident she was feeing different

,like some gap is filled she still don't know what's that she exactly wanted but she felt

like she somewhere got it , compassion.

Something different ,something beautiful.

Geet ,mujhe bahut bhook lagi hai kuch khayein??

Yeah ,they both went to a stall restaurant and ordered a dosa

Few old songs of Illayaraja were playing in the restaurant.

The owner sat near the cash counter ,he lit the agarbatti and scent was all over the restaurant

The witers were humming the Illayaraja song

Geet you know what ,this used to be my favourite restaurant , Whenever I used to

come here from the hostel I used to visit this place each and every time.

And the dosa they make is just amazing!!

Accha ...but I never came here before

My mom never used to let me have food outside the house

Not food but I still remember a lot of things from my childhood that connects me deeply

to this place.

I know , you know what when I was a child I used to drink the coconut water and

then me and my friends used to play with those coconut shells ,painting them ,trying to

make all sorts of strange toys from the shell and the best was climbing the mango trees.

I know .Even we used to play with many different kinds of flowers on trees making

holes

on the petals and passing them again through the stem making it a new flower

God and the paper boats in the rain water

And not to forget flying kites.

Playing in the park for the whole day

Geeting bored in the family functions

Learning to ride a bicycle falling and tripping

Making heaps of sand on the beaches

And you know when I was small I heard that a fly over would be constructed after few

years and I used to wonder what is a fly-over ...

I used to think that we can fly on that bridge ,how stupid

How sweet

They were really beautiful days of my life

Haan

Geet I just want to say one thing Geet ,I can never do anything that might hurt you ,even

if I did anything which hurt you I'm really very sorry about that.

Geet I had very few genuine in my life ..,and that's my dad .

May be my behaviour irritates you but that's because I try to fill the gap in my life in all

these jovial ways.

But Geet when you entered into my life things just changed Geet , you are among one

of the most few valuable persons in my life , I don't even have the courage to do things

that makes me lose you.

just then their dosa came. It was served in a banana leaf

they both had the delicious dosa with sambhar .

After having the breakfast they both left the place

Geet just listened to Maan quitely ,she saw this side of him for the first time.

He didn't even know why he said these all of a sudden but he just felt like sharing.

They left the place

Geet started pointing out some beautiful places during the ride and talked continuously

throughout the ride ,she tried to break the silence and divert Maan's mind , Geet

showed some famous temples and fields of the place and her incidents related to them some were

funny and some were innocent.

Both shared their childhood with each other..making the situation lighter.

Finally they reached the flower stall ...It's one of the best flower stalls.

Maan told her to have a look at the flowers and choose them.

Geet nodded her head and went near the flowers.

She saw a bunch of pink roses ,they were very fresh with water droplets all over the

petals.

Geet looked at them with a beautiful smile ,her eyes were admiring the beauty of the

flowers

Maan looked at her eyes and got hooked to them ,those intense ,penetrating eyes,so

intense so intense that they had the capability to make him drown inside them. He was

lost in them

Those eyes which glowed whenever she smiled while admiring the beauty of the

flowers, the enjoyment in her eyes when she enjoyed the scent of those fresh flowers.

He was completely lost in those ,his thought of removing his eyes from hers but he

couldn't ,his eyes stopped listening to his mind they were only following the orders of

his heart.

How strange ,Initially he was least interested in this relation ,they met each other during

the arranged meets by their parents ,they met ,smiled and talked just to satisfy them .

but slowly things started changing in a beautiful way ...He started to feel her presence. in

his life .. ...arranged meets changed into desired meets ...and how things changed

eventually

Just then he saw her eyes turning towards him..He could feel the innocence and warmth

of the pair of eyes looking at him ,they had a glow which was so special.

Maan she uttered from her lips ,Maan she called pulling him out of his own world

Maan yeh flowers thik hai na.

He smiled and nodded .

She smiled and ordered them

Maan I have given the address ,now let's go to the kalyana mandapam.

Yeah sure ,let's go.

While walking to the bike Geet saw an elder woman selling bindis with some beautiful

designs.

Geet stopped there

And one of the bindis was attracting her.

The old lady gave s bindi to Geet to try

Geet put the bindi ,and asked maan

"Kaisi hai?

Tedhi hai!

Geet tried to put the bindi properly

Saab aap laga do na

They both looked at each other and handed the bindi to him

Maan took it ,looked at her

He kept the bindi

And said in a low tone

Ab sahi hai

The lady gave a mirror to Geet

Geet looked herself in the mirror, she could also see Maan standing behind her and

watching her through it .

Maan smiled acchi hai ,take it.

Geet didn't say a word ,she smiled and took the bindi

They sat on the bike.

Maan was silent and so was she ...but during that silence he was invading her thoughts

,Geet was getting restless ,she never wanted that moment to end ,she felt like continuing

the talk with him.

He saw straight while riding but somehow managed to get few glimpses of her through

the side mirrors.

She tried a lot to divert herself from his thoughts.

She tried to get a glimpse of him through the mirror but failed.

For him he couldn't remove the image of her eyes from his mind .

She looked the other side to get rid of the restlessness

Silence was killing them both.

Geet tried to break the silence

How long will it take??

Just few more minutes

Finally they reached the Kalyana Mandapam.

All preparations were going on in a full speed ,the main mandapam was decorated

beautifully.

The people with table ,shennai and flute were already there ,they came from another

village so they came there early and were having their breakfast.

Maan talked to them and Geet talked to the people who were decorating the mandap.

Maan went to the caterers and had a look at the menu.

Everything was going on perfectly for the night.

Maan Geet left the place after some time and reached the house and the situation there

was no less ,everyone was so busy in doing various preparations.

Few people were busy in discussing about the sarees they are going to wear tonight.

No-one actually noticed Maan without the oily hair , il fitted shirts and loose

spectacles.

Maan went to his room

He thought of their ride ,he couldn't remove those glimpses from his mind.

He remembered how different were things before few years ,they couldn't even stand

each other but how things changed .he smiled

then his appa came near him

He saw him

Appa!! When did you come??

Areh 3-hours back

Oh Appa , Actually I went to the kalyana madapam that's why I wasn't able to come!!

It's ok Maan but I need to talk to you

Maan , but one of my friends asked me about your marriage ..I mean he has a daughter and

Appa!!! But you know...

I know Maan ,I know but we can't even just it down and neither can we announce

yours and Geet's engagement nothing is comfirmed na...and about my friend he is a

very good friend of mine and I need an answer!! Just talk to his daughter once

What??but why ... now you are asking me to talk to her ,what's this new problem

appa!!

I'll not!! I'll just not!!

Why not?? Don't you like this proposal??

Maan heard her voice ,GEET??

He turned back

Geet he smiled ,he recollected her words

"Why not??

He was confused

Appa??

His Appa cleared his throat smiled at him and hugged him

"Congratulations"

I just met Geet , Me and Geet's appa talked to her just now ...first she was silent as

usual but after a while she blushed and agreed.

Maan looked at her

Maan's appa left the place

Geet smiled and winked at him.

Maan was unable to beleive his ears ,she looked at her and held her wrist ...and looked into her eyes
