Hitchcock's Rebecca is a very entertaining as well as spooky thriller by the great master.
I feel Rebecca ranks as one of the greatest films of Hitchcock. It won the Best Picture Oscar and it was his first Hollywood film after leaving England. This was also the first film in which he adapted someone else's work, the famous novel by de Maurier.

In a nutshell, Rebecca is about a shy, poor young woman (played by Joan Fontaine) who marries the incredibly wealthy Maxim de Winter (Luarence Olivier). The only problem is that Maxim is haunted by the passing of his former wife, Rebecca. This makes it difficult for the new Mrs. de Winter. You see, Rebecca had it all; beauty, power, confidence, and was adored by everyone. This is so tough for the new bride that she becomes haunted and can feel Rebecca's presence everywhere. The mysterious housekeeper Mrs. Danforth (Judith Anderson) doesn't make anything easier for her either. Then the plot takes a true Hitchcockian twist halfway through...

I am sure you'll like it..I had seen it a while back and thought it was a bit spooky..I used to have a friend called Rebecca😳.. may be that's why i remember the story a bit..nahi toh it gets off even before it registers..😊
