Khushi went there because Arnab, after buying it from his uncle, converted Sheesh Mahal into a hotel and Payal's barat was suppossed to leave from there. So khushi went there to talk to Payal's intended about the dowry issue but instead got mistaken for a model for Arnab's bridal collection.

That is the question, if Payal's barat was supposed to leave from there, then was Abhishek somehow related to Sheesh-mahal, and hence Arnav's erstwhile extended family?

No, Payal's ex-fiance was not related to Raizada Family. His reason for being at Sheesh Mahal were commercial. Sheesh Mahal was just the venue from where the barat was leaving. Maybe some of the baratis were staying there, it was never made clear why and they did not even show his face but there could not have been any relation to Raizada otherwise Anjali, Nani etc would have been part of the barat as well.
