I have been intently watching the last few episodes since the depressing week following the M.E when the wrath of ASR was "Un-leashed" on an un-suspecting Khushi! We were ALL grappling with his Bi-Polar and borderline psychotic behaviour with "sadism" laced in! To say it was HARD to watch is an understatement!
The end of the week we see him once AGAIN question his un-bridled reaction to Khushi and trying to grapple with WHY it meant so much to him and WHY she affects him so much? We were left frustrated at this guy's lack of clarity or refusal to accept what his feelings MEANT!
SO' fast forward to this week'. He says he is NOT going to be effected by her anymore! We also see Khushi DECIDE to let all that stuff go and get on with it! Good resolve! (On both sides)
THEN the PAYASH drama starts and these two are FORCED to interact again and this time in a civil manner towards achieving a common goal!
Throughout the PAYASH interaction we see a nicer Arnav. He cares for his brother and is genuinely trying to do something to make him happy! He VALUES Akash's feelings even if HE doesn't understand or appreciate them! As he says to Akash "I don't know about all that Love stuff"! "Just tell me that you are serious about what you feel and that you are SURE"? That is all he needs to know to get "Into Action"! (I wish he would apply the SAME resolve to his OWN life and be SURE of the things he does, instead of becoming impulsive and going off the rails!)
It's interesting how he says he will handle this "DEAL" and then say things like "don't let the CLIENT know you're desperate"! It was REALLY funny to see how he was applying his "business" logic to this personal interaction! This PROVES the guy is clueless when it comes to matters of the heart and expressing emotions etc!
All this time I was TOTALLY mad at the CV's for regressing and making Arnav look like a psycho with his "up-down" "Hot-Cold" behaviour! But NOW I get it! He really DOSEN'T know what this feeling is?? He doesn't know what NAME to give his feelings?
Hence' "Iss Ehessas Koh Kya Naam Doon"?? NOT Pyaar? He dosent KNOW it's Pyaar! He dosen't know WHAT it is? THIS is why he is so frustrated! He knows that "Farak Padata Hain"! But WHY? Why dose it matter?
So it's decided! Arnav really doesn't know this is "Big Love"!
I once heard this line in a movie. The movie is called "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton" and it has one of my ALL time favourite actors "Topher Grace" (from that 70's show) in the lead! He is in love with "Kate Bosworth" who is a childhood friend and SHE is in love with a movie star "Tad Hamilton" (played by Josh Duhamel) who she wins a date with on a call in radio competition!
Basically there is another character in the movie (this bar tender girl) who has a thing for Topher and SHE asks him about his feelings for Kate. "Is it BIG LOVE?" She asks? He is confused. She says to him there is "Love" and there is "Big love".
"Big Love" changes your life"!
So what Arnav is feeling is "BIG LOVE"! And it's about to change his life! Now IF ONLY HE gets it too!
As always, comments and feedback appreciated!
