Would be interesting to see what lame and totally unbelievable (for all except Anjali😉) reason Shyam deploys to stay away from La ASR Engagement as Khushi and Family are sure to attend the function.
As he is near relation, he would be expected to be present. And if he is forced to be there, he would try at least to avoid the Guptas. Should be an interesting and important track as Shyam the snake's days are numbered...
In last episodes Khushi has had 2 slight brushes with doubt:
1. She faintly identifies Anjali's Husband's voice on phone. (How come faintly? She has heard it so many times... but it's creative liberty. So... let it be.)
2. She asks him how he knows that she has responsibilities to fulfill for the La ASR enagagement.
Also recently Anjali too has been in doubt.
Both of them might get some more clues in coming episodes and on engagement day one of them could be the first one to learn about Shyam and then tries to expose him but he turns the tables on her and Arshi Love Story moves on to the well discussed hate marriage track.
Hence all in all I believe Shyam's last desparate attempt to hide the truth would be a vital part in the next course of events.
That's why I am so curious to find it out but am in a mental block. Can't think what it can be...
