Nuvvila Movie Review
Nuvvila deals with the behavioural problems, ups and downs in the life of six young people. From the audiences' point of view the film without appearing tumultuous and intense, touching like Nachavule is structured well and packed with elements, a little from all of Ravi Babu's films to make it look watchable and entertaining.

More than the content what outshines and is forthcoming is the writing, screenplay and heart-warming performances from relative newcomers. The film suffers from predictability in all angles but the energy of the actors overpowers it and gives the overall drama a fresh look that would appeal to the youth and family audiences.

The director as usual gives a fair share of importance to character artistes as well. Like we saw Kasi Viswanath in Nachavule making a mark here we have quite a few people with a colourful background. Imagine having a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law pregnant at the same time, it's a bit unsettling and there's the intensely versatile Radha Kumari commenting on behalf of the audiences on the scenario. As long as the senior artiste doesn't have her sugary appetite fulfilled there is commotion all around in the movie and a high speed drama ensues before the full stop arrives and her character is unplugged.

Sunil's voice over is an absolute asset to the quirky characters. There are no great dialogues except in the introductions scene of Anand (Ajay), when the father talks about a break in an academic year can make one lose track of life and the idle mind turning into a devil's workshop in the process. The emphasis is on the fun factor and the narrative is smooth and flawless. Nuvvila, the title song, has beautiful lyrics justifying the drama.

Casting is perfect, Haleem Khan as Shailu deserves a pat for playing gay and generating interest consistently, he makes an unconscious attempt and is successful in bringing in empathy, sensitivity to the tribe while performing comedy. Ajay as Anand brings the emotional side of a lover well, Yami is truly angelic like the bit song describes her and has it in her to become a good actor.

Prasad Barve as Raju and Remya as Rani complemented each other perfectly. Their Tom and Jerry fights became boring at one time and reminded us of scenes from Pellaindi Kaani, a Jagapathi Babu and Priyamani starrer but it should work well with people who get tickled easily.

Havish as Mahesh, the young man in low waist jeans looks cool, not at all a put on. His crazy character of beating people, and the way his episode ended was cute and funny. His advertisement scenes were a roar. Great effort, great performances. Nuvvila is a good time-pass film, watch it for the cast and the screenplay, a sincere thanks to Ravi Babu for not including Melkote (a familiar Usha Kiron Movies character) with the Priya Pickles that he force feeds to the audience.

Aysha 🤗...thank u for the pics...Yami is looking gorgeous...so glad her film is doing well...she got such good reviews...hearing good things about the movie...it is a hit for sure 😊

Here are parts of articles saying the film is a hit ...

Nuvvila, a film with newcomers and ultra low budget is likely to bring handsome profits to the makers. The collections of this film are excellent on third day too. If the same trend continues for another week.Nuvvila will be in profits for sure.

This year's hit films like "Ala Modalaindi" "Nuvvila", "Pilla Zamindar" and "Prema Kavali" have all been small budget films made by newcomers starring not so well-known faces. Even the other big hit in the recent past, "Kandireega", was directed by a debutant director, Santosh Sreenivas. Looks like "new" is 'in' these days in T-town.
