ACP trapped in underworld racket

Part 1

Police Commissioner's Office

Assistant Commissioner of Police Anjali Manjrekar is called by the Commissioner Amithab varma and he is asking how the culprits Underground goons Mira Nikanj and her associate escaped from Priya Lodge. Anjali does not know how they got the information and how they could escape. She had confirmed 2 hours back that they were still in the lodge. Commissioner is indirectly blaming her for the cause and he says that every time she investigates a case, the culprit manages to escape. How come all her cases are a failure. Anjali says this could be a co-incidence. Commissioner asks her to leave

Madhavi's house

Deepak is talking to her and he is convincing her that he is not behind her sister's death. Madhavi is quitely listening. Deepak then gives her a bag, which contains madhavi's sister's jewellary. Madhavi is not convinced and asks him to leave. Deepak wants to say something but madhavi shows him his way out.

NCCW Office

Anupam is working and TV is on. He hears the news that Anjali is arrested as she has connection with underworld. She is kept in remand for 10 days for further interrogation.

Press people are asking Commissioner the reasons and what information they have.

Lock-up

Madhavi and Anupam meet Anjali in the lockup and ask her what happened. Anjali tells them the entire story that the new builder got famous in a short span and he had many construction in Sanjay shah's area and sanjay shah was not too happy with this. Roni oberoi was murdered and anjali suspected Sanjay Shah's motive behind this and wanted to get some proof, so she met him couple times at a restaurant on his insistence. She mentions that he was sure that meera would never be caught as she had connections with higher authority and it was impossible to catch her. Anjali does not know how the calls were made from her phone as she never made any of those calls to Sanjay Shah.

Court

The lawyer is telling the court about the phone and how the calls are made to meera and she helped the culprit meera to escape. Previously she also helped Sanjay Shah to escape.

They ask her why she met Sanjay Shah. She explains to the court that Roni oberoi was mudered and the most benefitted person from this muder was Sanjay Shah and Meera was a close associate with Sanjay Shah.

She also explains that she did not inform her boss because she was aware that some politicians and some officers were involved with this and by arresting sanjay shah with proof, she wanted to get their names out.

The lawyer twists the case by saying that sanjay shah had transferred 20 lakh rupees from kaula lumpur just after his escape.

The judge orders to keep anajali in remand for 15 days for futher interrogation and cancel her bail.

Lock-Up

Anupam gets the paper and asks anjali to sign consent papers where she appoints Madhvi as her lawyer. Madhavi asks anjali how the money came to her account. Anupam asks who does she doubt as she said that in the court. Anajli mentions that Sanjay shah had told the truth that she could never reach meera.

Anjali remembers vineeta chopra's name, who was previously involved with under world and also mentions that she had met her the day when meera was supposed to be arrested. She says she

just came by to say hello.

Press is asking madhavi why is she supporting Anajali and if they have any proof. Madhavi says she is not supporting anjali because she is a lady but because she believes her. Anupam strongly gives a statement that they do have proof that Anjali is innocent and they will soon show that in the court. The press asks Anupam why he supporting her is it because she was his ex-girl friend, madhavi is shocked and she says they are doing their job and they will find out and she walks.

She is upset with anupam and she walks away leaving Anupam ashamed of hiding truth.

Deepak story is yet to unfold. But it looks as if he is innocent. Like CID in Rihhaee too coworkers have started to blame others. I mean okay Anupam didn't tell them the truth but give him a chance.

Why does everyone look at Anupam like that? Whats there to be ashamed about? I can understand feeling upset that not knowing the complete truth but thats Anupam's personal life.

It was the past and he does not need to be telling all about his ex girlfriends. If they still needed to know he kept saying that he knew Anjali why at that time they did not ask him how he knew that.why does it matter who Anjali is to Anupam? Theya re there to help innicent people independant of the relationships.

Is there a possibility that Anjali with her hot temper was responsible for Anupam leaving the police force?

I think priya madhavi was upset because Anupam did not mention this to her and this could cause some issue in the court as the defense will try to say that they are protecting his ex-girl friend who happens to be Madhavi's collugue..

Thanks Smisha . Is there some rule that you cannot protect your ex girlfriend. I do not think that there is any clause in law like that. I think its more like people are feeling betrayed and hence assuming that they are mislead.

NCCW usually takes cases in which a woman has been victimised. In this case Anupam was the one who involved NCCW in the case. So maybe there might be a wee bit of doubts that just because Anjali is Anupam's ex GF he mite be trying to support her and she may be guilty as well. At that point of time they really did not have any evidences and whatever they had was just what Anjali had mentioned. I guess this was the reason !!!!
