Karan's IV wid Dolly D - Written update

Dolly D den asks about what wz the season like..u went to quite rough area's so how was it?

Karan den replies saying yeah it was dangerous, we were shooting in rotang..it's a dangerous road n dey were supposed 2 ride bikes over there..it was dangerous but thrilling and the end result was pretty good

Challa challa is a popular folk punjbai song n Karan sed it's his fave..Dolly requestd him 2 sing it and she also sed that she promoises celebs dat d IV's will b short but wid KK she always has lots of questions..fans will kill her if she doesn't ask him dis dat they wanted him 2 sing dat song..KK says he is a very bad singer so dolly says it dnt matter u can sing a little bit of it 😛 and KK also says he has been blessed for singing that song and performing it

Karan sings a few lines of Challa Challa so sweetly ya n in tune 😳...i superloved it 😃😃 his singing is unique like him😉😳

Dolly keeps saying wow wow wow wow wow , i was almost dancing while you were doing that, it was lovely, very catchy.

Karan says: we have incorporated our films name, a new genre to it all together.

Dolly says: did u take any dance lessons or things like that?

Karan says: we dint take dance lessons but we had workshops because the chemistry was very important between all the four of us and we had workshops, we had playing the guitar a little because if you're playing a singer and your playing the bass guitarist then you had about 7-8 days of workshops and the music director was always there and my executive producer, he himself is a guitarist, drummer, he taught us alot, so we did our homework before we shot for the scene.

Dolly says: Thats nice, i would like to take a few fans's name before i get beheaded and before i touch on that, so you were also on the SBS party recently and how was it coming back to Mumbai after especially all this time in Punjab?

Karan says: I was supposed to be in Punjab for just a month but ended up staying there for 2 and a half months and dint wanna come back, but ya it was fun being back with the TV actors again, but i came very late, almost when the party was about to get over. It was fun. It's always good to be back to Mumbai.

Dolly says: and you signed quite a few Punjabi films back to back isn't it?

Karan says: yes i am shooting for another one, it's called Nikamme, again with the same team, same director and it's a total mad film, it's a crazy one and i think it's guna be really fun doing that film and the charcter that i am playing is opposite to what i played in Pure Punjabi and ya it's a crazy film, total madness, total fun.

Dolly says: Karan i must accruement in this and instead of just coming and being rigid and saying no i would only like to do TV or Bollywood, u gone on to do something which is equally popular i think, the Punjabi cinema.

Karan says: I think for me the decision was very simple, you know for you either do the small film in Mumbai or you do the biggest film of Punjab, so i think our film is the most hyped film and it's the first release of 2012 (aww 😃) so i think apart from couple of other films that are coming in ours is the biggest film of next year, so i personally say that Punjab films industry is now at the..the aircraft is just about the take off, it's guna be the next big thing and once you get a good offer, when you get what i was offered, i just couldn't say no because it was young film, it's got nothing to do with the parents of what Punjab has, it has that culture, very straight forward Punjabi, so i was lucky enough to get this. But i would never say i am not rigid because TV is what has made me, whatever i am today it's because of TV and i would never say that this is it. People have motions that once you move onto films you should not come back to TV, it all depends on what work u get, if it's something different and if it makes you happy then you should do it.

Dolly says: So on that note, we have hear that you are coming back on TV for a show called fashion, again a Balaji production right?

Karan says: ya they have called me to open the show but i don't think it's called fashion, it's untitled right now and i've just had a meeting with them and obviously i can never say no to balaji, so if everything falls in place and the dates are okay, i'l be promoting my film in january and i will be shooting for another one, so if that show happens at the same time i won't be able to do it because of my prior commitments but if i had time then i would definitely do it.

Dolly says: So i will quickly shoot up some names with one line questions from them and if you could also mention their names because hearing their names through you takes the fans to some u know, some frenzy level. First one is Shibz :D she of course loves you..Karan cuts in and says what again? So Dolly repeats Shibz and spells it out S.H.I.B.Z so i think thats how you say it. Karan says' Shibz? Okay' 😃 Dolly continues saying she loved you in Pure Punjabi, she loved you and your flexy moves (KK laughs lightly) and your cool loves and everything and your expressions. And could you reply to her?

Karan says: Thank you, I am very happy that you seen the promo's of my new film and i hope your excited about it. If i come to UK to promote my film then i'l definitely catch up with you (ok dat wz either to Dolly, or he thot u lived in d UK Nimmi :P ) Dolly says ok so sweet.

Dolly says: and then most of the user ID's are to do with your Kitani Mohabbat Hai so we have a ArjuhiKMH (Pranii 😃) Karan says ArjuhiKMH and den Dolly continues saying what she wants to know is that now you're working without Kritika away from her do you miss her?

Karan says: I miss her alot, obviously because she's fun and she's mine (i think..pretty sure he said that..:* or he said 'she's nice n den he laughed 😳) but yes Arjuhi I did miss her obviously and ya thats all I have to say.

Dolly says: so everyone wants to know about this so i will park that for a moment and then we have Payal. Karan says Payal. Dolly says yeah Payal says she has the same question 'missing you and Kritika together and will you give us a much awaited special interview of the both of you?'

Karan says: lets see ya, i think i am busy with my film, she's busy with her shoots and whenever we are together next time I'll try to call Dolly up and we can have a exclusive interview together.

Dolly says: we have been trying this for months isn't it and it has not worked out at all.

Karan says: it's just that we are working for hours and it's very difficult to do anything else

Dolly says: as along as you open that will go a long way for fans and then we have a ArohiPrincess. Karan says ArohiPrincess. Dolly says so your quite active on FB and you've not been on it, we miss all the masti and chats so will you be going back to doing that?

Karan says: As i am back in Punjabi, i will make sure i look you up on FB and we will have alot of masti and chats and hopefully as Mumbai is so hectic for me, we are shooting, we are doing so many things, in fact i shot for a pilot for a channel V show. It's got to do with theen something..(dint get it) so let's see what happens. What happens in Punjab is that i have so much time in the office to go online and talk to everybody, its fun but in Mumbai, it's too hectic for me. I leave the house in the morning and get back late at night, it's a busy schedule, but i still try updating my status, talking to some of them.

Dolly says: even in this interview we have been coordinating, especially we have the time difference to contend with and so it doesn't happen when we actually plan, so people will appreciate that and your fans are the loveliest fans we have encountered so i am sure they understand and we have Aaliya, our global moderator, and she wishes you all the best and she hopes that your movie is very good and a super duper hit.

Karan says: Yes, thank you Aaliya, i really appreciate and definitely, my movie's guna be out in Torronto so you better go and watch it and get your friends to watch it as well on 13th January 2012.

Dolly D: Right and then we have Anji (meee😳) Anji now (she laughs) Anji621 what is 621 the code for that? I know 420 Karan says Anji621 it must be something to do with her birthdate or something (he he it just a number dat i remember well;) n loved d way KK sed my name 😳) Karan says accha dolly i need to go. Dolly says ok i'l wrap it up very very quickly, last 2. So do you have any plans coming to the UK?

Karan says: we might come to promote the film i'm guna be shooting the next film so we might or we might not everything will be clear in December, so i can't say yes or no.

Dolly says: and we have Deepanwita, last, but not the least. Karan says sorry? Dolly says Deepanwita i think thats how, she's called Winry_kmh in the forum and Deepanwita is her name, so Deepa i think you can call her that for short form and she says 'what was the funniest moment you want to share of the film Pure Punjabi?

Karan says: omg the funniest moment was the first day, first shoot, we were paragliding and we had to land near the camera and Manjot from Oye Lucky Lucky Oye - he's a sweetheart and he landed straight into the camera, the first day of shoot and it was by far the most funniest thing i have seen. It was a entire fiasco where the cameraman, not the cameraman the camera guy wanted to take the camera back and we actually used that shot in the film where he comes and just lands into the camera, it was so funny.

Dolly says: that was good to hear that and finally a question it's from Tanishq Garg but i promise i'll let you go after this. Karan says sorry? Dolly says Tanishq. Karan says Tanishq okay Dolly says and she loves you too and wants everything best for you
