I am fine with the 20 years age divide as long as the actors are playing their age onscreen. Its cringe-worthy to see Aamir play a 25 year old guy. One film is fine...but not every film.

If the actors dont want to play characters with a huge age divide between them and their leading ladies they must chose women of their age group...it could be a Madhuri, Juhi or a newbie 35+ actress. And yes even I am not interested in seeing these women in skimpy outfits. They must dress classily and not try to ape a 18 year old.

Yeah but his situation isnt as bad as Big B's was with movies like Lal Badshah or Manoj Kumar's was with movies like Clerk. He has time to reinvent himself. He still isnt in a situation where he will be forced to reinvent and is in a position to chose. Though I suppose if in the next couple of years he doesnt give some convincing hits or critical performances he will be that desperate state.

PS: I also disagree with the majority of the forum that he is going thru a mid-life crisis in his personal life. Maybe I am being too naive.
