It took a week for Savitri Devi to recover fully and she was so happy with Geet's dedication and affection towards herself that she forgave Geet and asked her to shift back to the Haveli but Geet asked her for some time as she was liking the feel of independence, outhouse gave to her, and she had started considering outhouse as her home but she promised Dadima she would come everyday to meet her.
(This is a super long update(the longest I have ever written) and I want super no of like and super long comments from you friends'..I will not accept anything else)
Part 35
Dev and Naintara were coming back today after spending a month in Switzerland.
Savitri Devi did not know how Geet would react to the news but she had been observing her for the past few days and had seen a change in her. Geet had become very quite and more mature girl in the past month after her marriage, it was as if the bubbly, chirpy Geet she knew, got lost in the haze of her marriage somewhere and a new, more mature, quite, reserved and a more responsible Geet had evolved out of nowhere. She had been observing, Geet looking after Sonalika as if Sonalika was her sister rather than a friend. She had also felt a change in Geet concerning Maan. That was the reason she felt confidant Geet would handle her meeting with Dev in a mature way understanding her position as Maan's wife. She had organized a lunch party when Dev would be arriving and had called Geet, Maan, Sonalika, Vicky, Adi and Pinky. Adi and Pinky had become a part of the family. They way they had helped and supported her at the time of Dev's wedding and the way Adi had protected Geet from Rahul had endeared him and pinky in her eyes.
Geet was feeling very restless after hearing the news from Dadima that Dev was returning to India. She was not sure what would she feel when she would see Dev for the first time after his marriage to Naintara and hers to Maan. She felt she needed more time and it was not the time yet to face Dev. She still could not forget the nights spend in his arms and she refused to believe it was not Dev but Rahul. How can she forget the perfume he wore which she herself had given to Dev or the feel of his skin under her fingers or the feeling that she would be lost if he was not there?
They had reached Khurana Mansion just before lunchtime and Dadima had done the Aarti of Naintara and Dev as after marriage the daughter-in-law was entering the house for the first time. Dadima did not consider Naintara's entry in the Khurana mansion immediately after the marriage a proper one, as at that time, the marriage was a rushed one and after the marriage, the home coming rituals had not been performed properly. Savitri Devi had become busy with managing the media, the guests, and then the disappearance of Geet and later on in the morning Dev and Naintara's departure to Switzerland. While doing Naintara's Aarti, Savitri Devi realized she has done injustice to Geet. Geet was the eldest daughter-in-law and she has ignored her by not accepting her as her daughter-in-law in the public. She would have to talk to Maan about it and rectify her mistake as soon as possible.
Geet had somehow kept her wits about her, greeting every one cordially while a war raged inside her. She had not know meeting Dev would be so difficult for her but when she her gaze fell on Maan and realized the sacrifice he had made to give a respectable life to her, she derived the courage to go on and meet the challenge of going in front of Dev head on.
It was not a sit down dinner but more like buffet where everyone had gathered in a group and were serving themselves whatever and whenever needed.
Dev had been searching an opportunity to talk to Geet and found such an opportunity on a visit to the buffet table. He wanted to talk to Geet and had realized if he wanted to forge ahead in his life he needed to let go of the feeling of love for Geet and for that he needed to talk to her and get a final closure to it.
"Geet, please meet me tonight. I want to talk to you."
"No Dev, I can't" Geet denied him.
"Please Geet, I am requesting you please."
"OK, Dev, but only for a short time." Geet had agreed reluctantly.
"We will meet at the usual place, Geet where we used to meet." Dev suggested and left before someone could catch them.
She could not decide where Dev would be. The place where he had made her smile when he had showered her with rose petals or the place where he had stolen a kiss from her or the corridor behind the kitchen where they had hugged each other or the room where they had become intimate for the first time.
The room had become a special place for her so she decided to go there. She would talk to Dev today and tell him she would not betray Maan. She would meet him in the lighted room and talk to him face to face. For precaution she took a candle and matchstick from the stand and went to the room, she did not want to take the risk of meeting someone else and not Dev. He was not there. Maybe she has come early so she waited for him.
When the light went, she ran to the corridor to check whether the house had light or not and realized that not only the whole house but also the garden and the area beyond was in darkness.
She lighted the candle that she had kept in the room and decided to leave the place as the darkness brought an unknown fear in her when a gust of wind blew out the light.
She screamed when she felt a hand around her waist, immediately a pair of lips muffled her scream. They kissed her until she lessened her resistance, loosing her will to fight. They left her when she was breathless and would have started gasping for air.
As soon as she was free from the powerful, passion-filled kiss, she tried to back away
"No, Dev I cant do this. We should not be doing this."
Before she could complete her last spoken word, she felt his head tilt. Her spoken words had brought the assault of the same lips on her which she knew she would not be able to resist for long.

As the kiss deepened and his tongue invaded her mouth, she knew she could not escape the reality, she would never be able to deny her feelings for him. He had become a part of her, which was stronger than her emotional self was. The song that she had heard on the Radio FM some time back rang in her mind making her realize the words rang so true.
I still feel your touch in my dreams.
Forgive me my weakness, but I don't know why
Without you it's hard to survive.
Her physical desire for him had not diminished as the time had passed and she felt as if it grew every time they touched and came close.
"Chodho Mujhe Dev," she said to him attempting to free herself halfheartedly.
She had not expected him to leave her so readily but he did the opposite of what she expected. He left her, moving aside for her to leave.
This act of his appealed to her heart and it was she who stepped forward, hugging him raised her head to plant a kiss on his mouth. She felt her heart explode with desire and longing for him. His mouth was explosively demanding on her own, his passion overwhelming her attempt at resistance, until she responded as passionately as he wanted. There never was and never had been another choice and this was what she had been yearning and aching for.
'Cause everytime we touch, I get this feeling.
And everytime we kiss I swear I could fly.
Can't you feel my heart beat fast, I want this to last.
Need you by my side.
'Cause everytime we touch, I feel the static.
And everytime we kiss, I reach for the sky.
Can't you hear my heart beat so...
I can't let you go.
Want you in my life.
In the warm darkness of the room the sounds of their increasingly aroused breathing, of hands against flesh, shaping, touching, caressing, of mouth against mouth, of tongues seeking and demanding were a counterpoint to the uneven thud of their heartbeats. His arms around her she felt safe, secured and so protected. She dreamt she could spend her whole life in his arms, never leaving his arms and come out and the dream would never break.
Your arms are my castle, your heart is my sky.
They wipe away tears that I cry.
The good and the bad times, we've been through them all.
You make me rise when I fall.
He heard her whimper, then felt her shudder when he tugged her, allowing her to sway closer to him as if it was possible to get even more closer as their bodies had fused together, her swaying bringing her curves into prominence as if ready for the possession of his hands. The caress of his hands on her curves was igniting a need in her, which could not be appeased without his complete possession.
How could there be such an intensity of pleasure? It was driving her forward to meet it, to meet him, as he filled her body, possessing it---possessing her completely. The desire grew and sharpened, and an urgent, compelling need rushed through her, refusing to be checked, matching its pace to his deepening thrusts. Until she was stormed, swept, elevated to a place beyond any place she had ever thought could exist.
'Cause everytime we touch, I get this feeling.
And everytime we kiss I swear I could fly.
Can't you feel my heart beat fast, I want this to last.
Need you by my side.
She had been so dazed by the desire, want and passion and the ultimate fulfillment that it took her some time to realize what was happening and before she could utter a single word, he left her. He had worn his cloths as fast as he could and slipped out before Geet could form a coherent thought. Seeing him leave she threw her cloths together wearing them haphazardly not giving him time to escape. She would talk to him today whatever it took.
She had made a grave mistake and there was no punishment enough for her. She had betrayed everything, everyone, every expression in this world. She would decide later about herself but she must not allow him to walk away without accepting his mistake of deceiving his everyone.
She saw him standing in the veranda, the place where he had brought a smile to her face after the tragedy of her parents when Pari and she had come to stay in Khurana Mansion. She went to him. He took her hand in his and made her sit on the bench that was lying there.
"We should not have done this Dev"
"Yes Geet, this is the last time we are doing this"
"I have already betrayed Maan but I do not want this to ever happen again."
"And I also can't betray Naintara, Geet"
"Then why did you do what you did" Geet heartbrokenly asked.
"Geet I am not able to forget you, I still love you with my whole heart, and I wanted to let you know this. This is the last time I will ever be bringing it out my mouth Geet. Though you will always remain in some corner of my heart, I will start afresh with Naintara. It is my duty to the faithful to her. It is my promise to you, Geet that from today and from this moment onwards we will never meet alone. I will put my full effort to try to accept Naintara as my wife and love her. She has supported my through out this month when I was feeling down and depressed. However, I still do not love her but I have started caring for her. She has told me she loves me and will wait until the time I am ready. So this good bye Geet, from now onwards we will always meet as friends and nothing more. I had to do this today to give a closure to the feeling revolving in my heart for you Geet. So Good Bye and so long" saying this he placed a kiss on her forehead. The kiss was nothing more than a brotherly peck on the forehead.
