but ur breif summary I now understand y it was so popular

really it was a classic

but KTLK is an adaptation

so the makers r trying to keep the concept same maybe with a different story (I mean different presentation)

well as ramona di said

lets c hw they develop and keep us hooked

well brilliantly written...

u know i sometime feel that KTLK is different from DK from d language prospect as well...i mean d way they speak in DK ,old hindi wid fusion of urdu added to d charm of d show...i luv d way Muslims n Pakistani ppl speak hindi...

also luk at d DK dialogues tanu mentioned

'Doc. Khan is nazar se meri aur mat dekha karo... tumhari nazar mujhe ilzam deti hui nazar aati hai' its a simple line bt still sounds so classy n melodious

d way those actors used to speak it added a different flavor to DK ...i dnt knoe why i feel Zoya was as much kiddish as nidhi now is bt her language n her tone made it sound d like more mature... added an extra charm to her character which is surely missing in KTLK as its based on today's age
