FIRANGI girls in Bollywood like Katrina and now Nargis are invading the Bollywood scene. Katrina is obviously the most successful heroine with a enviable track record, but there has always been something lacking in her. The acting obviously and a lot of you have said that on this board. Also, the same holds true for the newbie Nargis. They lack the appeal, acting, and charisma that Indian actresses like Kareena and Priyanka have. What is LACKING in FIRANGI girls?!! Please share your thoughts.

Yes, Zarine was born and raised in India. However, she is considered to be a Katrina clone and no appeal whatsoever! πŸ˜†

This thing just crossed my mind, the way actors get firangi actresses to romance with them, why can't our actresses get firangi guyz to romance with them? Think about it, blonde white guys with blue eyes romancing our desi actresses, this trend should also catch up. πŸ˜†

The "mirch" needed in double-meaning and erotic song and dance sequences. Look at Kat's "Sheila Ki Jawani" and our desi numbers like "Choli ke peeche" or "Ranaji maaf karna" or "Sarkai Lo Khatiya" or "Hai Rama" or "Tanha Tanha" and so on. Kaha humare desi masala aur kahan woh pheeki firangi.

the problem is that they have no understanding of india, its customs or its traditions. in most cases, they tend to be non-actors and models known for posing. so, when they are plonked in an unknown country, with the promise of money and fame, they just end up modeling- look hot and manage a few "motion poses"...

there is a difference between a indian actress who grew up watching Hema's "NAHIII" or madhuri's "ek do teen" or "mogambo khush hua" to katrina, nargis who dont have a f**king clue. the threatrics is inbred in us...πŸ˜†

off note the only firgangi i want in india is snooki or JWOW... oh! the biru and snooki escapades would be epicπŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Expressions while dancing. Other than dialogue, that's the other obvious marker. Even bad Indian dancers often have some kind of expressions. But when I see these gori dancers, it's horrible. Especially when they're dressed as Indians or in Indian clothing. Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is an example.

Giselle, it wasn't just the expressions but the dancing itself. Katrina has had experience, so she's not so bad with expressions.

Zarine shouldn't be included in the post. She is Indian.

I will correct my original post and take out Zarine. 😊

I corrected the original post and took out Zarine. 😊 However, how did Aish come into the mix? πŸ˜• There is no need to discuss her in this topic please! I apologize for the Zarine confusion!!!
