Ranbir Kapoor's party busted by COPS

Actor Ranbir Kapoor's success bash held at a suburban nightspot on Thursday night ended on a not-so-high note as cops interrupted the celebration later in the night.

Ranbir, along with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, was celebrating the success of his recent release, when according to sources, the cops intervened. Onlookers revealed that the party continued till quite late in the night and that's when the cops intervened and asked them to observe deadlines.

There was later buzz that there was also an altercation that happened between one of Ranbir's bodyguards and the police and apparently the guard was beaten up as well, though there is no confirmation about this.

An onlooker revealed, "The party was on in full swing and it was way past deadlines. So, the cops came and entered the venue asking them to close the party." According to sources, among those attending the bash were Ranbir's dad actor Rishi Kapoor and good friend Hakim Aalim.

When contacted Ranbir confirmed that the cops had indeed turned up and asked them to wind up the do, but denied the buzz of any altercation. "It's all rubbish. We overstayed there, they came and asked us to leave. That was it," said Ranbir.
