This is a scene that represents the story of this serial. All four most important characters of this show are here.

Khushi

Arnav

Anjali

and

Yes, Arnav and Anjali's mother's omnipresence can be felt throughout this show . While shw was alive , she was the most important person in their lives. As dead once again she invades their life. Not for a single moment Arnav forgets her , all the bitterness he is bearing in himself is most probably due to the injustice and ill treatment this woman received in her life. Arnav never takes his fathers name and has refused to ingerit even his fathers name . So much despise for his fathere is still stored in his mind.

So when Khushi came into their life, both the siblings most possibly observed shades of their mother in khushi . May be their mother was very much like Khushi in her younger days . MAy be in some way Khushi is related to their mother's story . Whatever, there is a very strong link between their mother and Khushi .

The Kangans will now represent their mothers. As Arnav watched and heard the tinkling of these bangles , he even forgot about the vow of not speaking to Khushi as if his mother herself came and told him "Beta , aisa nahin karte"

yes Su...I also feel that the scene was very important and the sequence was planned to show the importance of Kushi is the life of these two siblings...hopefully the CVs don't get their amnesia attacks and keep the story going somewhat consistently 😆

one thing i sooo agree with his their mother's omnipresence through the show..even in her death she dictates arnav's moods, arnav's growth(or the lack of it in terms of moving on) as a person...we know how much arnav loves anjali..we can only imagine how much he must have loved his mother...and i cant wait for the day when khushi wears those same bangles and arnav gets the 'sukoon' again...the guy so haunted by his demons..:(

As his mother had written in the letter , Arnav is capable of loveing without limits. He loved his mother immensely , so much so that his love for his mother has forever alienated him from his father .

A man who is capable of loving his mother so much - can never disrespect women or violate any woman.

yeah..totally!!.we know however harsh his words are towards khushi...just how much love resides in it for her...(which she will return sood samet!)..now just give lavanya her due(which is honesty)..and ill be all fine!

Mother and daughter always share a great bond but the bond between a woman and her grown-up son is very very special. It should never go out of limits as then people will say the son is hiding under his mothers pallu . It should be very strong but subtle , almost invisible , something like a thin transparent elastic thread which is very difficult to tear .

I agree fully! My grandmother (my mother's Mum) gave my Mum this advice when she was about to marry my Dad. (they used to be neighbours and fell in love)... My grandmother told my Mum

"Your husband to be LOVES his Mother! I have seen this with my own eyes! A man who loves his Mother will NEVER treat you badly, because such a man cannot be anything but loving to his wife"...

So MY Mum told me the same thing once... she said that when I choose a husband, see if this man loves his mother, coz if he does he will love you too! So THAT is what I did! MY husband, is a wonderful son! He loves his Mum and would NEVER hurt her willingly!

SO I know for sure... he will never hurt me willingly either! He just is not capable of that!

So there is a LOT to be said for a Man's love for his Mother! SHE is the first female in his life... and the most significant, until he meets his "significant other"... so this relationship between "Mother-Son" will set a precedent for a man's future relationships with females in his life!

amazing thought su! im pretty much tongue tied after reading your pov on arnav & anjali's mom along with khushi's connection to their relationship. da only person who can bring light to arnav's dark life is indeed khushi kumari gupta and i can see these bangles glowing beautifully in her hands one fine day!

i just wonder whether khushi pawned her mom's bangle to buy those plants for arnav? if that's da case, arnav will get more emotional and shocked at da same time to see da extent this girl could go for his own happiness!

@ Nadzee - I salute Khushi for her unconditional love for Arnav . She being a young naive girl of 18-19 has shown the capability of understanding and loving a complex and difficult man as ASR . Her love for Arnav is so visible in her every glance and expression . Sanya is doing an excellent job.
