Gulaal was lying in her bed.her eyes were wideopen she was staring the ceiling blankly..her night was sleepless...wen kesar was away from her her eyes always compelled her to see him and now wen he was so close to her her misery was infinite..thinking about kesar she sat on the bed she tried to sleep but all the attempts were in vain?.and there was deep longiness to see him again

Desparately she got up from the bed and walked outside

Kesar was sitting in the sofa with his hand on his forehead after gulaal had rejected him he hadn't slept once.he was suffering every seconds every minute and now he cant even cry as gulaal was with him he didn't have the right to be sad to mourn he couldn't show his pain in daylight?.but the darkness was his...he can cry weep alone in the darkness?.he was sitting there shattered and he heard the footsteps of gulaal he turned and saw gulaal was standing?kesar turned his face and changed his expression and sqeezed a plastic smile on his face and said to her "oh to ab raat mein meri ghar ko search karogi that's cool"

Gulaal smiled and said "nahi mein search karne nahi aayi thi woo mujhe neend nahi aa rahi thi socha yanha kuch der beith jau"

And she sat beside kesar her hand touched his and it send a spark to both of them they looked at each other and the uneasiness crept inside them...kesar withdrew his hand and then gulaal sat in the near distance...gulaal so wanted to talk to him but her words were chocked inside her a deep awkardness closeness and shyness surrounded both they looked at each other and squeezed the smile trying hard to talk

After sometime gulaal gave up and said "agar neend nahi aa rahi to tv dekhe"

Kesar looked at her and said "haan"

And he switched on the tv...it was 2:00 pm so A cetified movies were showing in the tv with countless intimate scenes?gulaal and kesar looked at the intimate scenes and they were embarrassed gulaal looked in the other direction in embarrassment kesar quickly change the channel but most of the channels were showing the intense scenes and in some teleshopping add were going on kesar was clueless he was changing the channel in the haste

Gulaal looked at him and said in low voice "discovery channel dekhe"

He change it to discovery channel but here too a documentary movie about animal mating was displaying

In utter awkardness kesar shut his eyes and "animals bhi" skipped from his mouth

Gulaal heard it and put her hand on her mouth hard not to laugh and said mischiviously "raat ko tv nahi dekhna chahiye animals bhi romance karte hain"

Kesar looked at her and burst into laughter and then he switched off the tv

Gulaal looked at him and asked in the low voice "so jab tumhe neend nahi aati to kya karte ho"

He looked at her with deep love how could he tell his woman that ever since he had met her he had spent his night thinking about her dreaming her wanting her...he said "tumhare bare mein"?but stopped and said

"woo planning karta tha" just to avoid her question

Gulaal said "chori karne k planning"

He said "nahi"

And then said "to tumhe neend nahi aati thi to kya karti thi"

Gulaal was no exception her each night her each dream belong to kesar she said "tumhe?" but changed the subject and said "planning karti thi"

He smiled and said "mujhe pakadne k liye"

Gulaal said "firmly haan"

He smircked "phir bhi abhi tak nahi pakkad paayi tch tch tch"

His comment was enough to shake her...she stood silent for the moment irritated at the fact that she was running away from the reality...she had to accept that the person sitting next to her was not for her

In frustration she stood in the haste and stomp her feet and felt a deep pain in her feet

She sighed and sat back

Kesar looked at her and asked "kya hua"

But she turned her face away just touched her feet in the deep pain

Kesar looked at her feet and asked "kya phir se moch aa gayi"

She pursued her lips and nodded her head

Kesar quickly removed her slippers and gently massaged her feet

And looked at her and said "thek hai kya chal kar batao"

Gulaal tried to move but cant get up she said "nahi chal paa rahi hun...ab bedroom tak kaise jau"

Kesar looked at her and thought for a sec and said "agar thapad nahi marogi to mein kuch kar sakta hun"

Gulaal looked at him and asked "kya?"

He placed his arms around her waist and lifted her in his arms..gulaal was taken back by his sudden closeness...her head was close to his chest and she could hear his heartbeat that was racing faster...her cheeks were pink in shyness..she wrapped her arms around him?her skin was soft to touch and kesar simply stared her for few moment and started walkings

Gulaal said in between "waise agar mujhe giraya to thapad padega"to ease out the situation

Kesar looked at her and said "don't worry memsahab aise to mein tumhe lekar mt everset bhi chad sakta hun...aur log kehta haina aapke haseen pair bahoot khoobsurat hai inhe zameen par mat rakhiye"

Gulaal said "bahoot purana dialogue hai isese acha to woo tha jo us note par likha tha"

Kesar looked at her and asked naughtily "kaunsa"

And she dropped her eyelids in shyness

Kesr took her to room and gently laid her on the bed..and then he went outside and returned back with the ointment..he took out some cream and began to massager her feet gently...his touch was warm exquisite and gentle.and gulaal was looking at him her eyes were never tired of looking in his face admiring him...he looked at her and saw her gazing at him...gulaal was caught she blushed and turned her face and started fm radio to get away..

Kesar looked at her in confusion and asked "kya hua"

Gulaal said "kuch nahi bas soch rahi thi kafi achi massage karne lage ho kitni ladkiyun par try kiya hai"

Kesar looked above and smiled and said "perfection pratice karne se hi aata hai"

Gulaal felt bad she looked above in frustration and then said "tumhe kaun pasand karega"

Kesar with a naughty grin in his face said "yeh batane k liye yeh raat kaafi nahi hai?kabhi aaram se time nikal kar bataunga u know its hard to resist my charm"

Gulaal heart pounded hard she still said firmly "koi nahi hai"

He smiled and he finished massaging the foot

Gulaal looked at him and said "zara pair bhi dabba do..dard ho raha hai"

Kesar smiled and gently massaged her legs

And then she naughtily said "ok ab haath bhi dabba do"

He then massaged her hand

Then bowed infront of her and asked "aur kya karna hai memsahab gulam hazir hai"

Gulaal smiled widely he was so correct it was hard to resist his charm and she was thrilled and enchanted

And she smiled whole heartedly she placed her finger on his hair and ruffled it

They stood looking into each other eyes with deep love

And the song played in the radio

Kesar started walking and reached to the door before leaving he turned back to look at her and said in low and husky voice "Gulaal apne pair ka khayal rakhna koi hai jo in pairo k nishan (footsteps) par sajda (bow) karta hai?..the same line he wrote in the note"

He smiled and left away leaving her in awe

Day 3

Next morning kesar woke and quickly went inside her room to inquire about her health but she wasn't in her bedroom kesar became tensed he quickly came and look around calling gulaal loudly

And he went outside and his foot stopped

He saw gulaal was running after a cute white pomeranian puppy that kesar's male servant has brought as he knew kesar loved pets...she was carelessly running after the puppy...laughing and giggling

She was just like a sweet innocent girl laughing chirping all around

Kesar was bewtiched to see her...his footsteps stopped and he stood near the door tilted his head and rested on the door and stared her with his folded hand?..she was so mesmerizing like small deer playing in the woods... soon she caught the puppy... then she laid on the garden holding the puupy and then she tunred and laid on her stomach on the soft grass of the garden and she was cuddling the cute puppy...the lawn sprinkler were spraying the water on the garden and she was soaking wet in lawn sprinklers.. Swinging her legs to and fro carelessly...kesar was looking at her drenched in shower of lawn sprinkler...she was looking as senusous as dew fallen on the top of the leaves... untouched and capitivating?kesar threw a helpless glance at her...wishing to be with her...kunal who saw kesar bedazzled came near him and said

'kesar anjaane mein ki gayi galati aur jaanbhuj k ki gayi galati mein farq hota hai meri baat yaad rakhna"

And he left

Kesar still in his dazed state replied in the low voice "janta hun tu sahi kah raha hai par jab woo saamne hoti hai to mein khud ko bhul jaata hun teri baat kaise yaad rakhu"

And slowly he walked towards the garden

Gulaal saw him and stood carelessy she hold the puppy in her hand and started walking towards him she stood in the near distance and said "ab yeh mera pet hai" pointing at her whote puppy

She continued "waise soch rahi hun iska kya naam rakhu"

And she mischievously looked at kesar and said "ke...kesar"

Kesar looked at her in amusement

She said "kesar nahi iska naam kishmish(raisin) hoga...mujhe kesar nahi pasand"

And she smircked

Kesar looked at her and said to himself "pata hai tumhe kesar nahi pasand"

And then he said "hey gulaal woo sab chodo pehle yeh batao pair ka dard kaisa hai"

Gulaal looked back and let the puppy go and said "don't worry mein to belly dance bhi kar sakte hun" and she took a circle to show him but the lawn was wet so she slipped and fell on kesar who was standing nearby he tried to hold her but lost his balance and he fell on the ground and gulaal fell on him...and he gazed at her mesmerized by the delicacy of her touch...he looked at her the spray from the lawn sprinklers misted on her face and arms and her sweet scent mingled with the aroma of wet earth was intoxicating his senses?he was blank for the moment he kept his gaze directed towards her and she was having goosegumps on her skin kesar was about to pass his arms on her waist but then he thought for a sec and then looked in other direction gulaal noticed his helplessness with the deep sigh she overcome the inertia...and quietly stood up not to bother him much

Kesar stood up too and after a short while and then went inside

Kesar and gulaal took their breakfast quietly

After a short while gulaal asked "mujhe bhuj nahi dikhaoge"

Kesar replied "kyu nahi aaj hi chalo"

And after luunch they decided to visit various places of the bhuj

Whole day kesar and gulaal visited the famous forts of bhuj

Then they reached mansar lake

Gulaal was standing outside the car kesar said "gulaal tum yanhi ruko mein khaane k liye lekar aata hun"

And he went in the local shops and picked up some snacks

In the meantime a goonl was passing by saw gulaal..he had seen her in the bar and he knew kesar personally he threw a glance at her and then looked at kesar and came near and asked "arey kesar tu kab bhuj aaya"

Kesar said casually "bas kuch din ho gaaye hai"

He said "waise badi khoobsoorat cheez le kar ghum raha hai?..kanha se aayi hai"

Kesar was furious to hear it he said "jyada bakwass karne k jarurat nahi hai"

The goon said "arey bhadak kyu raha hai aur waise bhi humne use bar mein beer peete hue dekha tha yeh itni bhi shareef nahi hai"

Kesar threw a angry glare at him and started walking

Goon followed and said "arey yeh kya baat hui daar gaya kya kanhi mujhse milwa dega to mein impress kar lunga use"

Kesar stopped and looked at him deep anger

He said "chal na dost hun tera ek introduction to dila de"

Kesar was about to punch him and then he looked at gulaal he changed his expression and said "tu khud hi kyu nahi dosti kar leta jaa khud hi puch le"

Goon smiled and said haan yeh bhi thek hai par tujhe jealousy to nahi hogi naa

Kesar said nahi go ahead and then goon moved towards gulaal kesar stood there folding his hands he smiled and said to himself "aaj to yeh mar gaya"

The goon went near gulaal with the irritating smile on his face

Gulaal looked at him in suspicion

Goon said "helloji how are u"

Gulaal overlooked him and started searching for kesar

Goon said "arey pareshaan mat ho mein kesar ka friend hun"

Gulaal replied back "to mein kya karu.and just get lost"

Goon "arey tum to to bigad gayi meine..us din dekha tha tume pub mein dekha tha...sach mein tum bahoot kammal k ladki ho...so dosti karogi?"

gulaal was so irritated she started walking away

the goon followed her and irritated her further "arey bhaav kyu kha rahi ho kesar ko to bada bhaav de rahi thi"

she turned back in anger

goon said "to kya bolti aati kya khandla"

gulaal looked at him and punched him and knocked him with one puch the goon collapsed she said "idiot chala tha mujhe khandala le jaane on duty hoti to isko kaala paani bhej deti"

kesar watched the whole scene he looked at her and laughed loudly

gulaal looked at him in anger and said "tu kya wanha khade khade hans raha hai rok ab tu nahi bachega"

and she ran after him

kesar ran and said "arey gulaal ruk naa baat to sun"

but she ran and kesar reached to his car gulaal came near and hit him on his shoulder "u idiot woo mujhe irritate kar raha tha aur tu hans raha tha?"

Kesar said "arey kaise pagal ladki ho jab us din delhi k gali mein gunde so bachaya tha to gussa kar rahi thi ki mein 30 criminals ko handle kar sakti hun aur ab dekho maar rahi hai"

Gulaal hit him back "fool woo kya samajh raha tha sahi sahi nahi bata sakta tha ki mein kaun hun"

Kesar said "mein kya karu jab galat ladke k saath galat jagah jaaake galat cheez piyugi to log galat hi samjhenge sahi kaun samjhega"

Gulaal again hit him saying "I don't care"

And then she sat on the boonet of the car to relax and kesar stood near the bonnet...after a while she looked at the sky...the sun was setting in the lake of bhuj the beam of sinking sun gradually changed from the yellow to orange and resonated beautifully with the lake water

Gulaal was overwhelmed to look at it her eyes shone wth sparkle she passed her arm around kesar's shoulder like best buddies do...and exclaimed "kesar dekho sunset kitna sundar hai haina"

Kesar looked at her and she turned around there gaze met...gulaal smiled looking at him kesar said in the low voice "pata hai humare yanha kaha jaata do logo ko saath mein sun set nahi dekhna chahiye"

Gulaal asked "kyu"

Kesar said woo log phir kabhi nahi mil paate

Gulaal asked "tum is baat par yakeen karte ho"

Kesar said earnestly "humne saath mein sunset dekha hai isliye ab yakeen ho gaya hai"

Gulaal looked at him her heart felt a sudden sadness his words pierced her heart she dropped her eyelids and remove the hand and looked at the grounds

Kesar was quiet too

Soon both of them were sitting on the bonnet of the car quietly staring the sky gulaal was mesmerized to the grandeur scenic she said "yeh saffron sky kitna sundar hai na kanhi blue hai kanhi orange kanhi red kanhi purple" Kesar quietly stared at her

She said "kitne saare range hai iske andar kitna kuch kehta hai yeh saffron sky..kanhi par apne sooraj ko kho dene ka gum hai kanhi par andhere mein kho jaane ka dar hai par phir bhi kanhi kisi kone mein ek naye sooraj ek naye din k aas(hope) hai...sach yeh saffron sky kitna kuch kehta hai"

she was so right her kesar was going through the same stage he had lost his sun his gulaal he was living in fear and darkness but the longiness for her was unchanged

he looked at her and said "u sounds philosophical"

gulaal said "philosphical nahi painter...pata hai mein jab choti thi to painting karne ka bahoot shuakh tha aksar akaash ko dekha karti thi aisa lagta tha yeh aakash ek bahoot bada canvass hai aur bhagwaan isme bore hokar tarah tarah ki painting karte hai pehle ajeeb ajeeb drawing karte hai aur phir khud hi rubber se mita kar nayi painting kar dete hain"

kesar smiled and then asked "aur kya acha lagta hai"

gulaal was surprised with his question she hasn't think about her liking since ages "kya acha lagta hai...pata hai itne saalo se career padhai job in sab mein...mein to bhul hi gayi ki mujhe kya acha lagta hai."

she thought deeply and said "hmmm mujhe ghumna pasand hai painting karna photography karna gaana gana bahoot acha lagta hai sochithi bade hokar yaa to singer banugi yaa painter"

kesar said "to phir police force kyu join kar li"

gulaal said in low voice "woo papa ka sapna tha mujhe IPS mein selection ho aur phir humare family mein sab police officer haina isliye"

kesar said "ab samjha?tumhe shootout se aur encounter karne se dar kyu lagta tha"

gulaal looked at him and said "kya kehna chahete ho"

kesar said "gulaal yeh police officer ka sapna tumhare papa ka tumhara nahi haina"

gulaal avoided him and stood up and started walking she said "kya kah rahe ho mujhe pasand hai yeh job

kesar followed her and said "agar pasand hai to nazare kyu chura rahi ho"

gulaal said "aisi koi baat nahi hai painting singing yeh sab apni jagah hai yeh sab hobby hoti hai aur police yeh ek noble job hai aur mein khush hun"

kesar stopped her and hold her wrist and said nahi gulaal job kitna bhi noble kyu naa ho par agar woo man se naa kiya jaaye to kya fayda y r doing the compromise"

gulaal said while pulling back "koi compromise nahi hai papa ne kaha hai woo acha hi sochenge?kuch faisle dusare k liye karne padete hain"

kesar "par gulaal kuch faisele apne liye bhi lena chahiye sirf apne papa k liye career chunana sahi nahi hai"

she said "to kya hua unke kehne se mein shaadi bhi to kar rahi hun to job kya cheez hai" it slipped from her mouth

and kesar looked at her stunned

Gullu is so selfish even taking away his nights😡, where he was able to be himself, cry alone and be truthful and honest w/o having to put up that mask.The experiment with TV was hilarious middle of the night main aur kya milega dekne ko….Kesar is still baccha…..animals bhi….

Kesar se seva karvane ky liye madam ne phir se apna ankle twist kar diya, and Kesar's so sweet carrying her to her bedroom and massaging her feet and legs and hands, hint of jealousy as well madam Gullu please be aware where you are and with whom….itna sab saboot collect karne ke liye jaroori nahi hai….

Kishmish – reminds me of that elaichi chocolate in red wrapper , And there she goes again…this time poor Kesu is not able to catch her and another close encounter sigh!

Bhuj darshan was really nice, and the scene with the thug hilarious!! Kesar must have really enjoyed the whole exchange between Gulaal and that thug knowing very well where it was heading….

So finally to Gulaal's past and where the inspiration to join Police force came from, your line about watching sunset together never to meet does have a greater significance isn't it? Ok I still think snail pace is best and I really think they need to be here and enjoy as much as they can who knows what future entails….Please update soon…………
