Geet got up and a broad smile adorned her face. Oh babaji...!!...what better way to start the day...she thought with a bright face and left to the washroom. She got ready and went down to find her father talking to her very own boyfriend...!!

Papaji...!!...she screamed and went straight into his arms...when did you came...??...and I am very angry from you, why didn't you came yesterday...??...we had so much fun in the diwali function, but I missed you so much...she went on and on without any break.

Puttarji, sans toh lelo...mohinder said affectionately while raj chuckled at geet's capacity of speaking.

But, when did you came...??...she asked and paused for his answer.

I arrived just two hours before. You were sleeping so I didn't wake you up...saying he kissed her forehead and asked...so, how is my princess...??

I am absolutely fine...she replied with her dimpled smile.

Papa ke aate hi, boyfriend ko bhul gayee...girlfriend not fare...!!...raj said seeing the daughter-father busy in their own convo.

I have applied for some big firms including KC and Handas...she replied joviantly

Papaji, I don't want people to give me special treatment and everyone knows me at your office. I want to treated like any other girl and achieve a position for myself on the basis of my merit and hardwork and not bcoz of my surname...!!

Mohinder was feeling proud on his daughter's answer and patted her saying...

Maan got ready and went down for breakfast. Raj had already came back from HM and was on the dining table while naina was serving breakfast. Vicky was no where to be seen...obviously sleeping ( late latif ).

Good morning dad, mom...he said while sitting down beside raj...where is vicky...??

Where else...??...must be sleeping...raj replied with an annoyed voice...this boy is so careless and has no value for time...!!

Raj, vicky slept late last night. Stop critisizing him everyime...naina chided raj

Yeah right. And we all hit the bed soon after aarti...!!...raj muttered and got an angry glare from naina while maan chuckled at his parent's cute jibes.

So maan, ready for office...raj asked completing his juice.

Yes dad...he replied and gotup with raj. They were about to leave when vicky came down hurriedly and stopped in front of them...

Good morning dad, bhai...he said gasping for air. He looked towards the dining table and wished naina too.

Bhai, you are leaving for office...vicky asked escaping from raj's glare to which raj instantly replied...

Everyone don't have whole day to waste...vicky rolled his eyes at his father's sarcastic comment but didn't had the guts to face him so kept his eyes fixed on the floor and muttered...oh no, plzz god save me...!!

Maan saw raj's mood getting a bit off, so he distracted him...

Dad, we are getting late...!!

Yeah, lets go...saying so raj moved out and vicky sighed in relief. He was about to go when maan said...

Maan smiled a little and then left for office with raj. They reached sharp at nine and walked in with full style and attitude. Maan was a true copy of his father, with the same magnetic personality and irresistible charm. So, as soon as the staff laid their eyes on maan, they were extremely pleased. Well, mostly the girls who let out sharp gasp seeing such a hot hunk in front of them.

But maan could care less. After all he had eyes only for his mishty. Raj introduced maan to all his staff members...

The hall roared with applause and murmurs. Of course they have heard about the young business man, earning name and fame in the short span of two years in US and all were very excited to have him as they boss.

Raj introduced maan to some of the important staff members and then turned to him...

Yes sneha. Maan, she is sneha, my P.A but as we haven't got you a new P.A, she'll be helping you. She is working with us from past two years and she will aquaint you with the rest of office as I have an important meeting with one of my old friend. After raj left, maan shook hands with sneha like a true professional.

Maan was going through some files kept on his desk when suddenly the door opened and a girl walked in...

Excuse me alisha, what the hell are you doing...??...maan was furious at her audacity and jerked her away.

What happened maan...??...I am just welcoming my old friend...she said feeling odd at his reaction.

No yaar, I know I am late, but it was only bcoz my friends couldn't collect complete info, so I had to collect it myself...he saw her looking at him and added...that is why I got ...late...!!

Vivky let out sigh of relief and thought...oh god, abhi tohsirf dad hi naraz hote the late aane par.I am sure both dad and geet will gang up against me, once geet get married to bhai, pata nahi mera kya hoga...!!

Geet went thought he file and a smile crept up on her lips...hmm, good work vicky. It'll be of great help...!!

But doll, you already know so much about your work and KC, so why are you stressing yourself unnecessarily knowing about whole khurana empire...??

Maan was going through an accounts file, when his eyes caught a blunder. He was shocked to see the mistake and fired the CA then and there saying...

There is no place for such blunders in KC...!!...everyone got scared by his anger and strictness. Raj was more softer person than maan, who is soft only tohis loved ones.

He called sneha and asked her to appoint a new C.A. She was about to leave, when maan suddenly stopped her...

Uh, sneha wait, there is no need to look for anyone else...he dialed a number and said...

Hey buddy, I need you here...!!

...

Yup, as soon as possible.

...

Great, I'll wait for you in KC...saying so he hang up and turned to sneha...

Its okay sneha, I'll take care of it...!!

Maan looked at the watch and his eyes popped out...8pm oh shit...!!...she must be waiting...!!

Grabbing his cell and other stuffs, maan informed sneha and left the office hurriedly.

He reached KM in about half an hour.

Maan, you are here...naina said with a smile and asked...how was your day, son...??

Great mom...saying so maan went to the stairs, but stopped at naina's voice...

Freshen up and come fast. Dinner is ready...!!

Placing his things on the table, he went to the balcony and found her onher side, feeling the cool breeze. Her beautiful hair were absorbing the gushes of wind, while the moonlight was shining bright on her angelic face.

He stepped near her and stood right behind her. Observing her serene face he saw a lock of her curls obstructing his view. Very gently he tucked he curl behind her ear making geet shiver with his touch and she automatically whispers...

Maan...!!

Opening her eyes, she found him standing in front of her and smiled...

When did you came back...??

Bas thodi der pehle...maan replied softly and added...sorry mishty, der ho gaye...!!

Geet gave him her beautiful smile and asked...I understand maan, after all it was your first day...and added after a pause...and after knowing how big KC is, I know how much work load must be on you...!!

Maan smiled at her reply and said...so, my mishty is getting smarter day by day...!!

Of course, after all I am geet handa...she replied with her childish snobbish look which made maan chuckle.

By the way, I am really impressed that you did so well. So you must be thinking about training programs now. Any specific choice...??...maan asked casually.

Geet suddenly became alert at his question and thought...oh no babaji...!!...if he comes to know that I am applying in KC, my whole surprise will be spoiled...!!...she made baby face thinking what to reply when maan snapped his fingers in front of her...

Geet, where are you lost...??

Huh, no nothing...she avoided his gaze trying to think of an excuse when maan said again...

Geet, what happened...??...is everything okay...??...he frowned seeing her nervous.

Uh, yeah, everything is fine...she gave a extra sugary smile to divert his attention and said...uh, maan...I think someone is calling me, main abhi aati hoon...saying so she was about to leave when maan caught her hand and pulled her to him causing her to dash into his hard exterior.

Geet, whats the matter...??...he asked looking straight in her eyes...you are hiding something from me...??

Nahi maan. Sach...!!...I am not hiding anything...she said wriggling under his hold. Seeing her struggle maan tightened his hold and brought her more close. Their faces were inches apart and she could feel his warm breath on her face.

Geet, don't test my patience...maan warned her in his deep husky voice. Geet felt herself drowning in his enchanting aura and her breathing became shallow...

Maan please, I have to go...!!

Answer me and you are free to go...!!

I have already answered you...but maan was no where listening. So, finding no other option left, geet tried her most trusted and famous weapon...nautank...!!

Aaahhh maan, you are hurting me. Please leave...she said with an over dramatic expression. Maan rolled his eyes at her drama and muttered...

You haven't changed a bit...still the same drama queen. Now stop your flop show and answer me...!!

Geet felt helpless seeing him notfalling for her acting and cursed his intelligence. Maan gave a glare to speak up and she just made a cute baby face to let go.

He was about to ask her again when nakul called him from inside. Maan got distracted for a mere second and taking its advantage, geet freed herself and ran back towards her room. She stopped at the threshold and turned back and shouted...

Devil monkey...and ran back inside.

Maan shook his head at her antics and cursed nakul for interfering and thought...I know geet is hiding something, but what...??...have to find it soon...!!
