As the family crisis is resolving Ahem turns his attention back to his wife to discreetly observe her and side her when the occasion called for it.
He certainly appreciates her caring and loving nature she gives to his family. He understood that her intentions were genuine when his mum scolded her. He therefore merely made his presence felt to her by giving her a look saying 'it is ok'. In the case of Kokila, she was just venting her tense feeling she was going through and it came out as though she was scolding her.
He was in the vicinity of the dining room when Kinjal played a dirty trick on her. His attention was drawn to the impolite words and rude tone Kinjal had spoken to his wife.
When he took his seat he closely observed her face for any reaction from Kinjal's trick. He patiently waited for her to turn his plate and serve him. She excused herself to get a roti from the kitchen. He served himself rice and dhall and was about to eat a spoonful when she stopped him and told him that the dhall was salty. He tasted it and complimented her cooking.
With shock and a surprise Kinjal had seen just how much her brother had moved on in his marriage and how changed a man he is.
Ahem continues to edge closer, continues to appreciate her and continues to make time for her. With Dhaval moving to MM will he aid in bringing them closer? Will Kinjal work on keeping them apart? How will this impact on Gopi and Ahem?

I agree with u swasthi...today he was wonderful...He did not allow his own sister to put down his wife's self respect. He understood the way she is & hence did not scold /shout on her when Kinjle opened the door. The best part of Ahem is that he accepted Gopi as she is...he is not expecting her to change.
With his silent support, he is building her confidence, he trusts her more than anyone & he proved it without even saying a word against his sister...the look Gopi had given when he praised was of absolute happiness...slowly step by step he is becoming her foundation, he is winning her heart in a very silent process...thats the best part... he has not or is forcing her to like him, he is making her fall in love with him or should I say he is also slowly falling into deep love with his wife 😉... So will he now see the true colours of his sister & how she treats her husband? Do you think he will feel very priviledged in life to have a wonderful companion in life when compared to his sister & Rashi ? One thing I noticed that he has fallen in deep love that he can go against his own blood relations & he is also smartly held his wife's honour ...

I have a feeling that there will also be a day when he will also ask her to do that...

I was waiting for your post Swasthi, and as usual you hit the nail on the head.
I must say, I had no hopes of getting a Gohem scene today, but after today, I will hold out for that tiny bit of hope each week.

I am glad that he didn't revert back to old Ahem, I thought that may be her constant defense of her family might put him off, most especially when Kinjle returned home, but he surprised me and remained a caring husband, still being at her side.
She had been anxious about Kinjle not opening the door, he knew that given her worrisome nature, she just wanted to make sure that his sister was okay, and given the situation, anyone would have thought that Kinjle has locked herself in the room because she is hurt and sad, not because she was taking a shower.
When he noticed how Kinjle treated her, the first thing he did, when he came to the table, was glance at her face to see if she was upset, but she did not give anything away and continued to do her duty. He ate the dhaal despite the fact that she told him it was salty, and even complimented her
He sees that no matter how she is treated by others, she genuinely cares for everyone, any other person would have turned and looked at Kinjle when told that the dhaal was fine to gloat or even to glare at them, but not Gopi, her eyes were only for him, and I am sure he observed this.
He is realizing more and more that she if genuine, she does not pretend to care for everyone, but she genuinely care for everyone, no matter how that person treats her or scolds her.
I hope he continues to be a supportive husband and stands by her in the coming days, especially since Kinjle has noticed the change in his behavior towards Gopi, she will do more to make Gopi look bad in his eyes, as she did in the past.
Although it was a short scene, it told us where he stands with her, and this deserves at least one Friday night drink.
So here it is.
Cheers!

I really liked your post. I also thought that the scene was short but it had a lot of quality. Finally Ahem shows his care for Gopi infront of his family as well. Till now most gohem scenes in which he cared for her happened when they were alone in their room or in the kitchen, when no one else was around. I really like that. I would appreciate more gohem scenes with such quality. The family should be shown how their relationship has progressed, because till now they only know that he seems to scold her less than before. 😉 so lets hope for more quality scenes next week. Never give up hope 😆

He is slowly letting her fall in love with him - he realised something when they were folding the sari as she did not touch his hand in the second fold, hence he wanted to check how it would affect her when he did so at the third fold. From then on he consciously has been showing her affection in different ways for her to meet his expectation. Rightfully so he too is deeply falling in love with her.
We anticipate for him to see these in the coming days:
* to be making mental or verbal comparisons between Rashi, Kinjal and his wife
* to find out more about his wife through Dhaval

My pleasure.
This will be rectified either through Ahem, Koki or Dhaval telling Kinjal.

Thank you for the analysis Swasthi! I loved the scene when he complimented her dhal. It came as a suprise to Kinjal as she hasn't been around Ahem since he has started to soften towards Gopi.
