To whom so ever it may concern

It's about the UPSC selection policies of conducting
examination for the selection of IAS, IPS candidates, therefore few questions
mentioned which are as follows:

1. Faculties/ the members of the UPSC board proved their
superiority by implemented the new question pattern which no one can guess
neither the IAS coaching centers as well but for this the students like us
suffered because they want complete intellectual candidate but for that they
didn't provide any kind of guidance to the students neither to for the ias
academy's to guide and prepare the students accordingly. But no they don't feel
to do so why also most of the time UPSC office employees didn't pick up the
phone if they really feel irritating to answer the students query why don't
they remove the phone from their offices because we students are not dogs who
bark tell me why??

2.What's the use of doing this implementation after all the
ministers will rule the IAS officers as slave because our constitution made by
B R Ambedkar after assembled so many rules from the developed countries to
prepare our more than 300 articles to make the law but it's just good for
nothing?

3. Why the reservation compulsory in all the govt exams
& jobs don't you think it should be judge by the candidates performance
providing equal rights and opportunities to every caste, we are in 21st century
but still people looking for an reservation as an excuse why General categories
have less numbers of attempt to appear for an UPSC where in SC/St has no limits
why this discrimination if they really want to keep reservations then keep it
for the women's belong from all castes because they need to come ahead and proof their talents?

4. Why there is so long procedure to select civil servants
why not this procedure applicable for the selection of the MP/MLA as well who
seats in the Lok Sabah because they win the election after made fake commitment
spoil the public money for do the election and having Zero knowledge about any
particular field except few but know how to consume public money, In other
countries like US, Europe, Russia, China etc
has simple procedure to select the best candidates for their own constitutions,
but why it's not implemented in our country to select the best candidates in
short and simple procedure which will not take a year to declare the results please
tell??

5. Supreme Court has issued the permission to provide the
students with the complete feedback about their performances in competitive
exams but it's not following by the UPSC officials department completely as my
child has submit the application to revaluate her paper after 50 days we got
the reply saying that "there is no technically fault from their side" where in
while submitting the form in the counter of UPSC office by hands the counter
person said that within a week it'll be declared also I have called the
officers they said we don't know about this because there is separate team who
revaluate this papers so I can't say on this also "I asked him how we could be
sure that they are checking properly and
not making fake commitments then he said you don't have any option except this".
So this is the UPSC systems working style, please tell why n to whom we seek
for the proper judgment and right solution to help our child to prepare for the
IAS exams?

Please ask UPSC to implement policies so that our children
can achieve their dreams by giving their full efforts. So that after become an
officer serve our country to make it better future.

Dear Parent,
Sorry you had problems with the Education Ministry. I hope you address your problems to the right authorities and also discuss with them directly.
I understand your frustrations and I would have been equally upset too.

Strange! On one hand you seem to praise the faculty for coming up with novel ways of examining the students vis-a-vis the question pattern that none had access to while on the other you accuse them of not providing guidance to the coaching centres about the patten of questions ! Per your own words the idea was to select 'complete intellectuals' ' by that I suppose you meant candidates who are really intelligent and able to crack the new pattern on their own and not merely those candidates who are "tutored" to crack these competitive exams by the coaching centres . New pattern or not some candidates will score better and get selected . If those who scored better did so inspite of lack of guidance then surely they deserve to be selected. So why the grouse !?

2.What's the use of doing this implementation after all the

Surprisingly despite these feelings you or your child still wish to pursue the UPSC exams!!!

Notwithstanding the perks that an IAS officer enjoys I agree it's a tough call especially with the power the politicians possess to bring about frequent transfers in their postings, award lucrative pre and post retirement posts . But it does not necessarily have to be so. Some of the IAS officers are too sharp , intelligent and can be downright manipulative and make of break a govt. Provided they do not succumb to their own narrow selfish needs. Exposure of some of the recent scams in the country is a pointer in that direction.

3. Why the reservation compulsory in all the govt exams
& jobs don't you think it should be judge by the candidates performance
providing equal rights and opportunities to every caste, we are in 21st century
but still people looking for an reservation as an excuse...

That is the sad reality of our times...even in this 21st century inequality of opportunities continue to be exist on the basis of caste! The day we are all able to say with conviction that there is no caste based discrimination or any lack of opportunity on the basis of caste , we will be able to do away with the need for such caste based reservations. For this we need to get rid of some biases and provide good opportunities for good education to all. With the citizens charter coming up for the govt offices isnt it high time that the politicians in power are made accountable to deliver their promises and targets in a time bound manner !!! How long do they continue get away with empty promises?

why General categories
have less numbers of attempt to appear for an UPSC where in SC/St has no limits
why this discrimination if they really want to keep reservations then keep it
for the women's belong from all castes because they need to come ahead and proof their talents?

Hello there ! Some women may object to that line of thinking! 😆 You seem to feel that women are the worst hit in our country irrespective of their caste ! Yet we have a number of successful IAS , IPS ,IRS women officers today . In fact we see them in every field. When people fight their way up instead of depending on reservations we get officers like Kiran Bedi. She was a force to reckon with while in office and remains a force even today after relinquishing her office.

4. Why there is so long procedure to select civil servants
why not this procedure applicable for the selection of the MP/MLA as well who
seats in the Lok Sabah because they win the election after made fake commitment
spoil the public money for do the election and having Zero knowledge about any
particular field except few but know how to consume public money,

Well, we are amongst some of the fortunate countries in the world that can boast of free and fair elections held in a timely manner! Who we elect depends on the choice we have and the choice we make . Depends to a great extent on how well informed the citizens are or/ and how much they care about it. Those who care enough are trying their best to bring about electoral reforms as well as some changes in the working system of the govt. Least we can do is support the cause.

In other
countries like US, Europe, Russia, China etc
has simple procedure to select the best candidates for their own constitutions,
but why it's not implemented in our country to select the best candidates in
short and simple procedure which will not take a year to declare the results please
tell??

Are you referring to the exam results or the election results? The results of on line exams and OMR answer sheets are declared pretty fast I feel. Those that have several rounds of interviews and group discussion rounds as additional selection criteria with several options for postings like the UPSC exams appear to be more time consuming!

5. Supreme Court has issued the permission to provide the
students with the complete feedback about their performances in competitive
exams but it's not following by the UPSC officials department completely as my
child has submit the application to revaluate her paper after 50 days we got
the reply saying that "there is no technically fault from their side" where in

IAS exams?

Personally I do not see how its possible to "re evaluate " papers of every candidate within a week. At the most the totaling of marks could be verified or the MCQ type papers might be verified but what about the paper with subjective answers!? For a fair re-evaluation you would have to have a team of experts of the concerned subjects to re check every answer. With the number of different subjects and the huge number of candidates appearing every year the requests for re evaluations could be in lakhs or even more! I doubt if they have any such plans for re evaluations . Perhaps they mean to restrict t to only re totaling of marks ! Some changes were announced recently about the university papers too but I m not really sure.

You could try seeking answers to your querries under the RTI ACT.

Please ask UPSC to implement policies so that our children
can achieve their dreams by giving their full efforts. So that after become an
officer serve our country to make it better future.

I d just like to add that UPSC is not an end but simply a means to an end . Its not the only way or means to serve one's country. But I guess if one has set one's heart on joining the civil services, it's a different matter. Keep up with the efforts.

Wish you all the best.
