Hello,

I've ventured here on occasion but I've noticed that the FG forum is skewed towards Quazi. Most of the discussions are quazi centric. I didn't notice such bias in other forums such as SRGMP or Indian Idol. People on those forums are not obsessed with a single individual like people are here. Why is that? I can understand people liking Qazi but there were others on the FG contest with dynamic personalities and talent as well. Can someone explain this strange phenomenon?

No person can be bigger than the institution itself otherwise the institution would die. If this forums remains quazi centric then this forum would die. If people don't find engaging, divergent viewpoints on a forum why would those who are not sharing the views of a few like minded individuals come to this forum?

On the SRGMP and II forums, people engage in all kinds of debates. There, people are free to criticize and provide all kinds of opinions about various contestants without anybody taking it personally. I don't see that here. If anybody comes here who has views different from the regulars then such discussions are stinted and those individuals shunned. As a result, this forum has become nothing more than a fan club for Qazi. Is this what you really want out of this forum?

Just curious.

Qazi is an integral part of FG so an integral part of FG forums too. His fan following can be understood by his media popularity so its not at all weird that we will have more people discussing abt him than other contestants. This is the Qazi phenomenon 😉 the magic of Qazi 👍🏼.

If you are finding this weird and want other kinds of topics, why dont you open a thread or two with the sort of discussions and debates you like to have, we are all ready for it. 😃

Instead of expecting others to do what you want, be an iniator, open a topic, create a poll and get what you like out of this forum 😆

Like I said, I have seen how people who do not have the same views as "the regulars" are treated. Your response itself proves what I said in my post that this has become a qazi centric forum. Please don't tell me that Qazi is any more popular than the winners of other contests. All the winners were popular that's why they won. However, other forums are not obsessed with the winner. This forum is. Is it a coincidence that there are no discussions other than qazi on this forum? I think not. Most of the people here are probably not interested in discussing anything else. I'm sure those who come here for the first few times, see that there are no interesting topics and then just leave for other forums where they find more diversity.

I was replying to Infite's post. On another note, I wish they had a cricket forum here. After all, cricket is shown on TV.

Its not only the qazi fans who discuss qazi over here. The qazi haters r more obsessed with qazi rather than the fans of qazi 😆 😆
Evernow and then some people will come here only to start a negative thread abt qazi or to criticize him. They will drag qazi in all the discussions whether it is related to him or not,so don't blame the fans.
In the last few days some topics relating to qazi have come up more than usual because it was his birthday on Jun 2nd so it was very natural.
And have u visited the II forum lately,it is full of dumb topics and polls so don't even compare it to the FG forum because even if we r talking abt qazi it is related to FG and not abt finding abt which member is a duffer or pagal 😆 😆
we have a democratic setup here,go ahead and start whtever topics u want but don't impose ur will on others.I come here to discuss wht i want not wht u want.
sry if i sounded rude but tht is the truth.
