to walk alone at night in a city?

hello all! I'm only asking because of the scene at the end of episode two when Indira is walking home alone at night along empty roads/alleys, strangers sleeping in their rickshaws, and barely lighting . I know I have walked at night in various cities a few times, but this feeling is always the same: that I am glad I always had atleast one person with me. Poor Indira, she has to do it out of necessity; otherwise, it is actually quite dangerous.

i have courage but india is not a safe place or rather my parents restrict me.

but here in singapore one can walk fearlessly even at 2 am😃

Nopes. Its dangerous to be out on the streets for woman epspecially. But it kind of depends on where you live. But if you have no other option then yes then you have to, but by choice.. never alone.
& Indira's is strong. And I think the streets or darkness or that she is all alone is the last thing Indira thinks of.
