@bold : I guess this is one more thing troubling her ... She KNOWS he isnt happy with Kastur ... She doesnt feel this that Mohan is right now giving importance to his ambition more than his personal life ... She still feels somewhere that he compromised - something which she never wanted him to do in his life and for that she did her own struggle against the odds ... Even if Mohan has accustomed to living with Kastur she doesnt know the inner things

Coming bk to the topic ... yup such saas do exist sadly 😆 infact even worse 😆 actually Saroj isnt evil ... she is just being a typical saas because she is thinking the typical saas way and so feels what a typical saas generally does ... She is insecure of not only her position in the house but also in Mohan's life ... And insecurities can make you do anything esp when you have been through a lot of humiliation before ... Honestly I wouldnt have or rather I just cant behave the way Kastur is/will be dealing with her ... me so no likes bahu maska maarofing her saas 😆 deal with it in a kind polite proper way BUT if she doesnt listen I cant be imposing myself through sweetness ... nahi samajhti toh na samajh main kya karoon 😆 yea but for that the husband must be either on my side or neutral 😆 otherwise life gets much more tough

Sabz Saas like Saroj's do exist and it is quite sad but they seem to not like their DIL just because they have taken their son away from them, they just dislike their DIL's... They knit pick and well they are down right annoying...

I hope I never have to deal with a MIL like that but if I did ignorance is bliss and I would just hope I am not living under the same roof as her, because then I would be able to handle her, otherwise I am certain it would all come to blows... But I have to say I would never get my husband involved because it is his mother and he shouldn't be put in that position.

However, in the show Saroj's character is taken to the extreme over dramatised but Saas's like her do exist... just hope you get the better end of the scale!

This is crazy yaar...I hate to see saas like Saroj and I hope, my saas is not like her 🤣 I have yet to live with my saas so I am just praying that she is sweet and understanding 😛

I see your point by not involving husband between saas and bahu. I would be fine too as long as the husband knows the truth. Kastur is lucky that Mohan knows that she is not at fault but his mother is =) 😉

As for the Saas situation... why do you think Saas Bahu sequences such a hit most the time because its not different from reality the only difference is they might not be as evil, so no plots to kill you but doesn't mean they can't make your life a living hell... my sister goes crazy everytime her MIL visits 😆 makes me laugh, even my gran as a MIL makes me think seriously how does my mum do it 😆...

Like Bhanu said god just did not come up with a solution for the MIL DIL issue 😆... a sad true fact

Oh well... lets just hope I never have to live with my MIL 😆

I think it's the opposite. All the other happenings (Baapji, Sari, fake stomach ache, burn medicine) are made worse by what she perceives to be Mohan's acceptance of Kastur.

Before he left for the Desais, he told Baapji to let Kastur stay there for a few more days. Once he comes back, right away he does something that we wouldn't have done otherwise. When Saroj calls Kastur, he ends up also joining them. Saroj at first doesn't think much of this and in fact kind of tries to bring Mohan to her side, but this was just the beginning.

Saroj notices the interaction between them during the Pooja. Not just the first time she looked, but we're transitioned into the Mohan/Kastur "fikar mat" and Mohan's teasing Kastur, through Saroj's gaze. Saroj's eyes go towards Mohan and Kastur, and then the camera cuts to their interaction.

Saroj really lost it when Mohan "tried to justify Kastur." She told him that Kastur had taken her place, and doesn't even really believe his denials and says she accepts it.

Then all the other drama happens.

And then at the roof top we see it again. Saroj has basically forgotten that Mohan married Kastur for the business opportunity and Money. She tells Kastur that she doesn't know what Kastur had done to him, for him to go against her decision.

And again Saroj goes into all the stuff about never be able to take her place, never be able to match her love, etc.

Saroj may feel that Mohan compromised and hates that he's married below his level, but what really got her was that Mohan in her eyes, seems to have made a place for Kastur. She took Baapji's taunts, Kastur's usurping her in other areas. But she loses it because to her it looks like Kastur has taken over Mohan. The honeymoon talk was the final straw that broke the camel's back.
