Hey all

just wanted to ask...anyone know this song?? John Jani janardhan from Naseeb starring Big B.

isnt it uncannily similar to Deewangi deewangi from OSO??? Like all the superstars coming together at a party thing?? ...

was farah making a conscious effort to replicate this song in OSO (like a tribute) or was it a coincidence...?

Aaah yeah it does..but I'm a big Mohd Rafi fan so I'd say I loved loved John Jaani Janardhan =Dbut Deewangi was good too...nice to see most of the actors there :)

It's not a coincidence. I remember reading articles before the movie's release about Farah roping in a lot of celebrities for a special song inspired from the one in Naseeb. That turned out to be "Deewangi Deewangi".

The original is infinitely better IMO. It's Rafi for goodness' sake. Plus Big B and the 80s colourful madness.

The original seems better to me too..

In the new one...u just have sets of stars coming together or stars coming individually and doing their bit with srk...u dunt see all of them together...

In the former one, u actually see rajesh khanna, raj kapoor, amitabh, simi,sharmila, dharmendar, randhir kapoor, shammi kapoor, sharmila tagore, waheeda reheman EVERYONE together...makes for such a nice visual...

There is no comparison I saw this film 2 days back. If you haven't seen it you must. They don't make them like this anymore. This song is far superior, the voice of Rafi, AB playing the waiter/host, the top villains & stars together and everything is smooth running you can't see any sort of deliberate attempt to throw in a bunch of big shot actors just for the sake of it, like in OSO.
