What interests you apart from acting?
I like to read when I am free. I have read all autobiographies from Winston churchil to Imran Khan, Amrish Puri, AL Pacino, Pran, Lata Mangeshkar, RD Burman, Mohammad Ali and Hitler. My favourite is To Be Or Not To Be Bachchan. I love playing PS2 and PS3. I surf the net and www.flipkart.com. is my best site.
Are you a prankster?
Oh! yea. One prank that I remember playing on the sets of my show Betiyann, where my friend Hemant Thatte was put behind bars. I actually locked him up and left him there for good 30 minutes. He kept hurling a lot of abuses at me for that and apologised profusely before I gave him the key.
Do you fear anything on this earth?
I am claustrophobic and fear travelling in the lift. If the lift takes time to reach my floor, I feel very uncomfortable. I don't like too many people in lift so I generally climb the stairs.
Which has been your most embarrassing moment?
My most embarrassing moment was when I met Fardeen Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Esha Deol and Amrita Rao on the sets of Pyare Mohan and few moments later I realised that my denims were torn from the back. I was so embarrassed.
Do you believe in luck?
Yes, I definitely believe in luck and destiny. If something is destined to happen, nothing in the world can change it. My mantra in life is to do good karma. There are times when I am feel low as I see people who have tasted success with the wrong means. Now all this doesn't bother me I feel my peace of mind is more important than anything.
Do you believe in doing social work?
There are many social causes that are close heart are many, but the one which tops the list is taking care of a girl child. I am already associated with a NGO named Muskaan for the last four years. I feel every person can make a huge difference by helping the girl child. I want to work closely for a hospital next to Pune which my uncle has started.
