ARTIFICIAL English statements in BOLLYWOOD movies?

πŸ˜•πŸ˜•πŸ˜• We all know the use of the English language in Bollywood films can be excessive, irritating, and damn ARTIFICIAL! But, what common statements can irritate us? Like the use of "I Love You," "Damnet", "I am Sorry,", "What the Hell?", etc. Like when Rani said "What The Hell?" in No One Killed Jessica or Aish said "Damnet" in Guzaarish, it didn't suit their personality. I cannot see these lovely ladies cussing or swearing! If they say it in Hindi, it is more convincing actually! The same applies to actors as well. When the Khans say a swear word or "I Love You" in English, it is weird! πŸ˜† Should ARTIFICIAL English statements in BOLLYWOOD movies stop?! Even when I watch Bollywood films on DVD with English subtitles, they are not for HINDI, but ENGLISH! πŸ˜† Please share your thoughts.

The classic "character gets a phone call, eyes pop out of their heads followed by: WHAT!!!?"

And of course "Oh my god!"

BTW, "I love you" doesn't always sound bad; depends on the actor. Among the Khans I think Aamir is probably the least annoying with it and Salman the most.

Shahrukh was awesome in Darr though. I can't imagine that film without him stuttering, "I love you...K-k-k-k-k-Kiran!" Epic delivery of those 3 syllables. That line wouldn't have had the same impact in Hindi IMO - or any other language for that matter. Can you imagine it in Gujarati? "...tane prem karu chu, K-k-k-k-k-Kiranben!" πŸ˜†

I agree though, have always always hated this. Not only in dialogs, but songs as well.

Some people have really taken the cake in the "use-english-to-shit-it-up" category, like Himesh who's all "my love for you is not a one night stand", or "I miss you like mango"

Are you like checking me out tops my list!🀒

Add to that,Priyanka and Hrithik's accent.Maybe they really have such an accent but it sounds pretty artificial to me.

"Are you like checking me out" and also "Funny Guy" 🀒
they were not even funny to me, plain annoying..
also," Are you serious", " Oh shit" and sometimes "Oh My god"
these all the overused and hence they sound artificial!

I can even put up with that, but what I cant is the mish mash of Hindi and English slangs. My least favourite one is-
Oh ek hard-core anti family man hai.
