| Batting for a cause IF you were flipping channels on Sunday and wondering why there was nothing to watch on TV, we've figured it out. The Indian Television Academy (ITA) organized a charity cricket match at the Andheri Sports Complex, where every major and minor star in Indian television was present, with CM Vilasrao Deshmukh as the chief guest. Shashi Ranjan, Salil Ankola, Varun Badola, Akashdeep Sahgal, Abhijeet Sawant, Amit Behl, Hiten Tejwani, Sai Deodhar, Harsha Bhogle, Nikhil Chinappa and Sanjeev Kapoor showed off their bowling and batting prowess. The commentary box was filled with Manini De, Suresh Menon and Tanaaz Currim, while cheerleaders Shweta Kwatra, Roopali Ganguly, Shama Sikander, Rajeshwari Sachdev and Karishma Tanna were there for moral support. |
