He said with a smirk "Hello Geet!"

Geet was shocked and couldn't believe that he was already out!!!

But how is that possible??!! It's an non-bailable offence!!! He can't have got bail!!! So how is he out??!!!

"Geet, Maan is here to take you on dinner!!" her thoughts broke with Rano's words.

Geet looks at him and he smirked evilly.

She knew she can't say anything in front of her parents, so she just nods and said "Ji!!"

And Maan and Geet goes out of the house...

There were so many questions in her mind going on right now!!! She needed her answers...

Maan opened the car door for her and waited for her to sit inside.

But Geet crossed her arms around her chest and said "How did you came out?"

Maan smirked and signals her to sit in the car...

But she looks away clearly doesn't want to sit in the car unless he gives her some answers...

Maan said seeing that Geet wasn't making any effort in moving "Sit in the car if you want to know!!"

Geet clenches her teeth in frustration as she realises that she has no other option right now and sits in the car.

Maan hops behind the wheels.

Geet asked again "How did you come out?"

Maan said mischievously with an evil smile "Did I ever tell you Geet, that I have good relations with the judicial system over here??"

Geet narrows her eyes while he smiled wider seeing her frustration.

He continued "But that's not what you should be worrying right now sweetheart! There's a lot more things for you to worry about...like how you gonna save yourself jab main un charges ko sach karunga!! Attempt to rape ke charges lagaaye the na mujhpar?" the anger was clearly visible in his voice.

Geet gets scared instantly with his words. Her heart started beating fast in her chest. Babaji!! How is she gonna escape this monster now??

She sends a silent prayer to Babaji to do some miracle and save her from this monster!!!

When suddenly a truck came in front of them and she gets blinded with the truck's headlights and then a sudden jerk and everything becomes dark...

She slowly opens her eyes...

She looks around and sees the IV tubes on her arm and realised that she is in the hospital...

She tries to remember what had happened and realises that they had met with an accident...

She asks the nurse who was standing in a corner checking her reports.

"Sister, how did I came here??"

The nurse tells her "you had met with an accident!"

She remembers that Maan was also with her.

She further inquires "Sister, how is Maan? He was with me in the car??"

But nurse tells her that she doesn't know much about him and she should ask the doctor about him...

Just then her parents enters and she focuses her attention on her parents as her mother was crying hysterically...

It took a lot of time for her to console rano and convince her that she is fine!!!

Next day she gets discharged... And she remembers that she has forgotten to ask about Maan.

She sends a silent prayer to Babaji and said "Please babaji! Wo theek ho!!"

She goes to the doctors cabin

Geet: Doctor, how is Maan?

Doctor (confusedly): Maan??!!

Geet: Yes doctor, he was with me in the car... Is he alright?

Dr.: So his name is Maan??!!

Geet frowns at doctor's question and says

Geet: yes dr. His name is Maan!! How is he??

Dr: Listen Geet, what I'm gonna tell you, you have to be strong to hear it!

Geet's heart started sinking at dr.s words. She said impatiently

Geet: Doctor, what happened??!! Please tell me!!

Dr takes a deep breath and says

Dr: In the accident, he has lost his memory!!!

Geet felt like someone has snatched the ground from under her feet. She looked blankly at the doctor..

Dr: he is suffering from amnesia!! He doesn't remember anything of his past life.

Geet looked at the dr blankly and said "WHAT??!!"

After few minutes, she comes out of the shock and she said "You are joking, right doctor??" she asked hopefully.

Doctor said seriously "I'm afraid I'm not!"

Geet said unbelievably "But how is this possible??!! This is not some movie!! These kinda things don't happen in real life!!"

"Why is it not possible Geet? Amnesia is a disease and anybody could suffer from it! In the accident, he has hurted his head badly... so he lost his memory."

But then another thought crossed her mind...how can she forget that they are talking about Maan Singh Khurana over here!!!

So she asked suspiciously "Are you sure dr that he really lost his memory and not faking it?"

"Geet, I'm a doctor! I can tell if a person is really hurt or not!! His reports can't lie Geet! He has really lost his memory!!" she said confidently.

Geet nods and thought that it served him right!! He deserves it!!!

Geet controlled herself and asked "Can I see him?"

Doctor nods and takes her towards Maan's room...

Geet looks at him from the door and saw him looking blankly towards the ceiling...

There was no emotion on his face or eyes... It was just blank...

Geet slowly goes inside and he looks at her blankly...

Geet has never seen him in such a condition before!! She felt pity for him...

She sits on the edge of the bed and said "How are you Maan?"

He frowns slightly and repeated "Maan? Is my name Maan??"

Geet looks at him and nods.

She still couldn't believe that he doesn't remember anything!!!

He asked her again "Who am I?" the expressions in his eyes was that of helplessness... Something Geet was dying to see in his eyes, but now when he was really helpless, she realised she didn't like that helplessness in him... She was so used to his other angry and mean side!!

Her thoughts break with his next question "Do you know me?? Please tell me who am I??"

Geet said "You are Maan Singh Khurana. Owner of Khurana industries!!" She didn't know what else to tell him about him!!!

He asked restlessly "How do you know me?? Who are you??"

His control was breaking... He was trying so hard to remember something about himself...but it was all blank!!

Geet can't tell him what relation she has with him!! She just can't!!! Babaji has given her a chance to be free and she is so not loosing that chance...

So she said "I'm your friend!! Geet!!"

"Geet?!!!" he repeated her trying to remember about the name, but he couldn't!!!

He said impatiently "So if you are my friend, then tell me everything about me!!! Please Geet!!! I can't remember anything about me!!! Please help me!!!" he begged her while unshed tears shone in his eyes due to helplessness.

Geet felt a weird kind of feeling seeing him in such a pitiable condition. She can't believe that this is the same man who has ruined her life!!!

She felt bad at his condition and puts her hand on his hand sympathetically "Don't worry Maan! Everything will be alright!!"

She couldn't believe herself... She was sympathizing with the man who she has hated the most in her life.. But if she be honest with herself, then this man is not the same man that she hated with passion!!

He is just like a child right now who will believe anything that you tell him!!!

Geet said controlling herself "Now I should go!! I'll come back tomorrow!!"

And she turns to leave when he said "Pakka aaogi na?" he looked at her hopefully.

Geet smiles sadly and nods and leaves...

And as promised Geet did came next day to meet him...

She has decided that she will introduce the Maan that was her friend to this Maan...(without telling him that what were his real intentions behind that friendship)

She didn't realise but she has secretly missed that Maan!!!

So she started telling him what kinda person he was as his friend...

And they again started becoming friends... Her visits to hospital started getting more frequent...

She went to hospital to meet him twice a day now...

They slowly became very good friends!!!

Maan was better now...all his physical injuries were healed but his memory wasn't back yet...

Geet took him home and they started spending more time together...

Maan was a completely changed man now and Geet was loving this Maan!!!

Her parents had gave it a rest about Geet and Maan's wedding seeing about Maan's condition...

It has been 6 months for their accident and Geet and Maan were very good friends but somewhere both has started liking each other too...

Geet has been able to open up her heart once again for the emotions...for the feelings...for love!! And the person who has closed the doors of her heart has himself opened that door too!!!

Yes, Geet was falling for him...the new Maan... Maan who was her friend...

One day when she comes home from college, she saw that nobody is at home...

She freshens up and sits on the couch and turns on the tv boringly...

But as she turned it on, her eyes widens in shock!!!

There was Maan on the tv!!!

And he said "Geet!"

Geet became numb as she saw him saying her name on tv..

He smiled and continued "I don't remember what was in my past years... Destiny has left my life as a blank paper... But you were the one who coloured that paper with different colours of your friendship! And I don't know when I had started falling for you Geet!! But I know that I can't live without you anymore!! I love you Geet and I want to marry you!!! Will you marry me???"

And the screen changes and 'Will you marry me Geet??' words flashed on the screen in red and white glittery text!!

Geet stands up while unable to control her happiness and a pair of arms slides in her waist from behind and he whispers near her ear "So will you marry me Geet??"

Geet turns in his embrace and kissed him on his lips and said "Yes!!"

Two weeks later Geet and Maan got married and lived happily ever after!!!

And oh yes! Maan never got his memory back... So their lives were tension-free after that!!!

AUTHOR's VERY VERY IMPORTANT NOTE

I'm sure that most of you would be thinking that what the hell did I do to the story??? How can I ruin my own baby???

So frnds before jumping on any conclusion, hear me out first!!! And I would request you to read the whole note, because it's very important!!

Ok frnds, yesterday I got this almost hate PM in my inbox saying something like 'maan is very hateful...I hate Maan...plz change him...and I'm very heartless for making maan like this!!!' Something like that!! I won't take the name of the person but that person knows who I'm talking about... Anyways, so I was kinda felt very bad and at the same time it made me angry too...😡 I would've neglected it if it just said that she is unable to digest him, but calling me heartless just bcoz I'm writing some story is so not good!! So it made me very angry!! In spite of me promising that I'll change him, people still keep on asking me to change him!!! So in anger I wrote this part... So guys, there you go! He's changed!!!!😡😡

But as I was halfway writing it, my anger cooled down and I realised what am I doing??? Just for 1 or 2 people I'm punishing all my readers??!!! And that made me feel more bad!!!

So I thot of not posting this part, but then thought that the pressure of changing Maan is keep on coming if I won't...

So who ever was desperate for changed Maan, I'm sorry but this is the end for the story for you!!! He is changed, now you can sleep peacefully!!!

But those who were happy with the way story was meant to be, this part holds no importance!!! The story is not over guys!!! So cheer up!!! Take this as an April fool joke or something and forget about it!!! Because this update has nothing to do with the real story... The next part will start from where the previous part ended!!!
