Will other women dare to support Sneha?
Sneha's reasoning skills put Jyoti, the eldest daughter-in-law of Mansukhlal, in a dilemma
Sneha, the progressive bahu of Mansukhlal Shah takes the other women in the house head-on as they challenge her to try and change the patriarchal rules of the house. Sneha realises that her task is extremely difficult as the family members are petrified of Mansukhlal and dare not go against his wishes.
But an incident is about to start the wave of change in the house. Jyoti, the eldest bahu finds herself in a predicament when her father, Chandreshbhai gets pressurised by Mansukhlal to refuse a land deal with Atul Mehta, an arch rival of Mansukhlal. Jyoti watches her father getting subtle threats from Mansukhlal who uses her happiness in married life as a bargaining issue.
Jyoti is in a dilemma when Sneha makes her realise that her father is at a loss either way-if he went ahead and made the deal with Mansukhlal, then he would have to face Atul Mehta's fury; and if he declines Mansukhlal's offer, he would be upsetting her father-in-law.
This incident is surely an eye-opener for Jyoti. It has shaken her trust and belief in Mansukhlal. It sets her thinking about various occasions when her father-in-law got the better of her. Will Sneha's reasoning and questioning now make sense to Jyoti?
