Anushka opposite Ajith ? - Times of India

While many believe that Anushka's priorities lie with Tollywood, the pretty actress is slowly, but steadily, gaining foothold in Kollywood as well. The latest buzz about the Arundhati actress is that she will soon be seen opposite Ajith in a film, which is being produced by late producer Nagi Reddy's banner. The film, which is likely to go on floors early next year, is said to be directed by Siva (of Siruthai fame). A source in the know says, "Ajith, after completing Billa 2 and a film with Vishnuvardhan for A M Rathnam, will start work on a film for Nagi Reddy sir's banner on the occasion of his centenary birth year.

It's for this film that Anushka has been roped in. Siva, who's a big name in Tollywood and has also given a hit in Siruthai, will be helming the project and Yuvan Shankar Raja has been approached to score the music." Post her much-appreciated performance in Deiva Thiirumagal, Anushka seems to have become sought-after in Kollywood, with films with Vikram and Karthi on the cards.
