Rajini attends the first public function

Rajinikanth thrilled the guests and attendees of an award function recently by his appearance. An energetic Rajini made it to the dais where veteran directors SP Muthuramam, K Balachander, Visu, actress Kushboo and several others were seated and said that he is there because he wanted his first public function to be an auspicious one.

According to the Superstar, it was an auspicious event because one of his favorite directors SP Muthuraman is being honored with the Shanakara Rathna award instituted by the Shankara Nethralaya.

The star said that he will continue to act as long as he is energetic because that is the USP of his success.
