I don't want to say much about the new track not because I don't have anything to say, but because I don't have the words to express my feelings. Yet I am here to pen down some of my thoughts and feelings.
When Maneet returned to Delhi and realised that they had lost everything we were all intrigued as to how it had happened, who was the person behind it all and how MSK would deal with it. We had anticipated the return of the old angry Maan Singh Khurrana. But the person we saw in Friday's episode was a totally different one. No anger only the realisation that he had been cheated/wronged by the person whom he had respected all his life. It showed a side to the great MSK which no one had previously seen. This track is going great guns. Hope it stays like this all the way.
As for the dialogues and execution I think we need to give a standing ovation to Barry Sir for the dialogues which MSK spoke in the new/old house. About never forgetting your roots as in tough times it is these very roots that help u to recover. My heart went out to him with each and every dialogue he spoke...the ones about him not realising that he had this side to him till he met Geet, the ones between MSK and Adi, and the ones between MSK and Geet...all were superbly written.
Coming to the execution of the episode, no one can deny that it was an out and out GC episode. He stole the show with his restrained acting...
the way he agreed that although his 'mom' was wrong but from her POV she was right, the way he said he did not want to bring Khurrana's personal problems into the public's eyes, or the lightness in Maneet's behaviour when they entered their new abode. The scene between Adi and MSK was so very touching. I always liked Adi sir but yesterday I fell in love with him all over again.
Finally if this track proceeds as we all expect with Devil Dev NOT turning negative it will surely be his resurrection in our eyes. If that's what the CVs intend to do, (keep him positive I mean), then they have started in the right way. SS's acting was very commendable yesterday (I have always maintained that he is a very good actor). Now it can be seen that he is a good soul but a weak person who lets himself get manipulated by the women in his life. (First NT and now his Mom). he needs a strong person/girl who can show him the right path and will not hesitate to tell him off when she thinks he is wrong. Nandini seems to be the much needed anchor in his life. Not only will she have a steadying influence on him but will not let him stray and will also bring some meaning to his life.
That's all I can say about the new track for now. I just want to add one more thing...
Great job CVs...keep up the good work...GHSP needs this sort of handling to regain its lost glory...Who ever said this show needs to be shut down should watch it now ...I am sure they will retract all their previous comments...and vote for this show hands down...As for the actors...we know that they are all worth their weight in gold...Kudos to the whole team of GHSP...
