Are we going towards two weddings?

From today's episode, and yesterday's signs, i think we are actually going to see two weddings going on side by side, or rather, two wedding preparations. The contrast between a rich man's wedding, versus a poor girl's wedding will also be interesting for the CVs to show, right? I've noticed they like to place the rich/poor thing quite heavily over and over(tiffin-dibba for salary vs the bank cheque, akash-payal and the diya, mami's jewelley vs Khushi's detergent coins) .

One one side, from Nani backing off, and Anjali being a dumbass and thinking ASR is in love with the wrong damn girl, I think we'll end up with ASR's and La's wedding being planned. When he realizes he is in love with Khushi, his sister's prediction will scare the hell out of him. He said "I'll stay far away from such a girl, if I fall in love." If he marries Lavaniya, he will make his sister/nani happy, and get a bodyguard who he might think will help him stay away from the danger that is Khushi. Even if he knows Khushi loves HIM, he is so damaged, that might actually be a scary thing for him-he sees love as a loss of control, so he'll stay IN control-by going through a wedding with La, who he DOES control...

Khushi has realized she refuses to get married because of ASR and his effect on her. If ASR doesnt tell her his feelings which we know he just wont do, and decides to marry La, Khushi will be the first person to know this. La will tell her, the whole house will be happy, hell, Khushi will be a main person in arranging his wedding preparations! She at that point will have no reason to say no to Shyam, or to Buaji's awful pressure-she loves ASR, he loves La,La is her friend and ASR's current LIVE IN girlfriend, he is making La happy and giving her the sacred bonds of marriage, like Khushi wanted him to. Now, she'll get what she wanted for La, and have to face her situation at home realistically- there is nothing to stop her from having to settle for marriage with a "decent" man like Shyam.

I think there are many signs pointing to this-not just nani's backing down, but also the fact that they've made La into such a reformed character-as an audience, its ten times harder to root for Khushi and Arnav when the La issue has not been resolved, and when she is not a vamp. The drama that this creates for Khushi to also stay shut about her love for him is incredible! The one hope we have is Babuji, and we have no reason to expect that Shashi babu will pop up in bed anytime soon and like a miracle start talking and yelling bloody murder. what do you guys think?

I dont think that ASR will agree to marry La.

this would be a very sad thing, if it happens...i will tolerate this track only if it doesn't go through the marriages and if Khushi and Arnav marry each other...if even one of them gets married to someone else...i am gonna quit this show...

the stress would be too much for me...😭

But khushi cant resist to marry shyam for long time.

Buaji will somehow make her agree, if her babuji's health deteriorates a bit then buaji will blame her and she will agree for the marriage.

Arnav too will have pressure from family but not much as khushi . He is powerful enough to resist from marriage.

But the news of khushi getting married will surely affect him.

It is frustrating to see Anjali who claims to understand every nuance of ASR to say that she can see he is deeply in love with LA... this girl not only needs glasses but also needs acquire some sense... she knows only too well that neither is ASR cordial towards LA nor does he relent to her requests... If so, why did she send Khushi to get ASR downstairs...

Anj has begun to drive me up the wall...😆 Now I know why Shyam is playing the field Shamelessly 😃 he knows she is not smart enough to catch him... imagine living in the same city as his wife and still trying to marry a second time...

I think you make some good points. It's impossible now to not like LA, since she's so changed, and her silliness is actually likeable. I also like very much how A & K are slowly (too slowly?) being drawn more and more to each other.

I don't think the ASR/Lavanya marriage track should ever happen! He is against marriage and has been his entire life. He has fought his family, La and Khushi on this issue. For him to change his mind about that at this point in time and for La, would undermine his feelings for Khushi. I think that only Khushi should be able to change his ideas about marriage and how he feels about it. It would show that what he feels for her is above and beyond what he has felt for anyone in his life. Just my take on this portion...
