Regarding the FanFic I would say that it should be retained in the forum for the first 10 days of being created.

After that if its moved it wont impact the Activity much. So one should request the Moderator of the forum not to move the Fan Fic till it turns 10 days old.

So , Vijay has clarified that all FFs will only be moved after 10 days...very decent of him to respond.
