Geet was at work keeping herself busy. She tried to divert her mind from everything. Ayush was going to sleep over tonight at the Khurana Mansion. Just the thought of going into that house brings back all the memories she tried to block off. She couldn't stop Ayush either, anything for his happiness. Vicky came into her cabin with a smile. She smiles at him.

Vicky: Hey Geet..hows everything going?

Geet: Everything is fine. Just preparing for the meeting.

Vicky: Ohh okay. Well I have prepared half of the presentation so you just work out the details to present to them.

Geet: Sure. Anything else sir. Oopps I mean Vicky.

Vicky: thank god you corrected yourself or else I would've have to yell at you for calling me sir. Sounds so old. (he laughs and turns to leave) Ohh by the way lunch is on the client..what was his name...Maan Khruana...(Geet looks at him again and stands up. Vicky looks at her..) What happened? Everything okay?

Geet: Woh I don't

Vicky (phones ring) hold on Geet..see you at the meeting. (he leaves the room before Geet could say anything. She sat back on the chair. "Maan...why is he everywhere. Whenever I try to forget him and the past he comes in front of me, either him or his name.")

Outside of the office, Vicky walks into his cabin...

Vicky: Yeah Maan..I told her about the meeting...anything for you guys. I just want you both to be happy. Yeah don't worry I have it planned. Okay bye. See you later. (he hangs up the phone and laughs at both of them. "what weird game is destiny playing with both of them." He looks at Geet..."Hope she gets her happiness back that she deserves...anyway's Vicky put the plan into motion") He picks up the phone and calls Geet.

"Geet please come to my office..." (After few seconds Geet knocks on the door.) "come in..."

Geet: Vicky is everything alright?

Vicky: umm Geet I have to hurry home. Mr.Khruana should be coming any minute for the meeting. You need to handle the meeting alone with him gain.

Geet: But Vicky how can I? All of a sudden?

Vicky: Meera just called and told me to come home. I am worried. Please Geet for me. Please.

Geet (sighs) umm okay.

Vicky (gets up) Thanks.

He quickly leaves the office leaving Geet in state of confusion and nervousness...she goes to her cabin and picks up the files that she prepared for the meeting. She was glad that at least she doesn't have to be alone with him. She decided to keep it professional and not look his way until it was absolutely necessary. She went to the conference room and was shocked to see it empty except for Maan siting at the other end of the conference table with his head down looking at a file. He looked up as if sensing her presences. He smiles at her. Geet sits at the other end of the table and looked at the clock. Everyone should've been here by now. Maan leans back in his chair looking at Geet while she avoids looking at him. Half hour has passed and still no one said a word to each other. Geet kept looking at the watch and the door. Annoyed, getting up, she walks to the door. Maan stops her.

Maan: Geet (she turns around to look at him. He looks at his watch) its getting late. I have to attend some other meeting. If you don't mind can you begin? Others might show up when they have to.

Geet: But how can I

Maan (gets up) You don't have the presentation ready? umm okay its fine. I will tell Vicky that we can reschedule. (he was about to leave when she stops him)

Geet: Wait no need to tell Vicky. I will present.

Maan (smiles at her) Alright..no problem. (Maan sits at the other end while Geet sits at the other end of the table. She switches the lights off until projecter light came on. She was about to begin...) Geet I don't have time to go through the presentation. If you don't mind..just go over it with me from the files. I need to have ruff idea that will be good.

Geet: Hmmm...(she opens her file and gives Maan his copy. She was about to go sit at the other end when again Maan stops her.

Maan: Geet how will I know what you are talking about if you are going to sit at the end of the table?

She ponders on his thoughts and reluctantly sits next to him. Their arms touches a little bit while Geet was opening the file but she couldn't move nor say anything. At this moment, he was just her client nothing else...she begins the presentation but all Maan focused on was her lips, her hands movement when she talked and her eyes as it lights up the more she talked. He smiles. He slowly brings his hand close to the file to turn the page when he grazed her finger that was holding the page. She stops talking and looks at him. She wanted to move her finger but couldn't..Maan held her finger and turned the page slowly. She looked around the room and realized the room was still dark. Both of their faces were visible through the projector light. Both look at each other...her heartbeats increased and remembered the past...

She comes out of her past before she buries herself again into the nightmare that she so wants to forget. She moves away from him a little. Maan leans closer and closer to her as she moves father away from him. He holds her by the waist to bring her up while turning on the lights.

Maan (clears his throat) sorry I was getting the remote. (She straightens herself out..Maan gets up holding the file) Alright. I guess that is it for the meeting. I will let Vicky know of my decision. (She sits there like a zombie not being able to process his words. She nodes her head and watches him leave. Outside of the room, Maan leans against the door, "pretty soon Geet I will awaken the feelings that you want to forget. That is my promise..") He leaves the office.

Geet stood in Ayush room packing him bag for the sleepover. Her body was there but her mind was at the incident that happened at the office today with Maan. Why is he affecting her that much? Why? She grabs the bed sheet pulling it out and folding it without paying attention as to what she is holding. Ayush comes in his room and hits his forehead seeing what his mom is packing. He goes to stand on her side and pokes her.

"Mom.." she didn't respond..he tugs on her sari.."MOM!" She comes out of her trance and looks at Ayush with anger.

Geet: Ayush. You know there is no yelling in the house

Ayush: what could I do. You weren't listening to me. Look at what you are packing. Am sure Annie will have bed sheets at her house. (Geet looks at her hand and then at the empty bed, now sheet less. She sits on the bed putting the sheet down..)

Geet: Woh sorry I don't know how I held this. (She quickly closes his bag...) okay you know what I told you. I don't want to hear any complains from G-ma. Got it. Do as she says and listen to all the grownups.

Ayush (sits on the bed holding his camera) Okay mom I got it.

Geet: Do you need your camera?

Ayush: Yeah. Or else how would I show you what I did since we don't live there. (Geet looks at him shocked..she quickly leaves the room unable to answer him. Few minutes later, Annie showed up with NT and Dev to pick him up) Where is papa? He didn't come?

NT and Dev both look at each other to answer but Annie steps in. "Stupid you know that chachu don't live with us.."

All the grownups look down embarrassed at their current situations. Geet controlled herself to not cry. She knew he wanted both of them to live together like NT and Dev but it was just not possible to do that. Somewhere down the line she blamed herself for failing at being a good mother, not being able to give him the family that he desires and wants. Ayush waves her goodbye as he gets into the car.Geet smiles and waves him good bye controlling her emotions.

Dadima waited for Ayush to come home for the first time. She made everything of Ayush's favorite. She had called Geet before hand asking what he likes. She wanted to make sure everything was perfect for her great-grandson but also was saddened at the fact that he wasn't coming home with his parents. She felt bad for him and what a little kid at this young age has to go through. But nonetheless she was happy that at least one of them came home. she will think of something else later for Maan and Geet.

Dadima: Nakul...they should be coming any minute..do you have all the food ready? Ice cream? candies? cake?

Nakul: Yes ma'am everything is ready.

Dadima: Okay good. Go double check everything again.

Nakul: Yes Ma'am

Dadima sat on the sofa and waited for them to arrive. She got up and stood at the door when she heard the car pulling in. She smiled when she saw Ayush running in. He stops and looks at the big house in awe.

Ayush: G-ma this big house...you all live here?

Dadima (smiles) yes beta..this house is yours.

Ayush: Really? Then it has enough room for all of us together right?

Dadima: yes of course

Annie (took his hand) Ayush come on let me show you my room.

Ayush: okay...

Dadima: kids come down for dinner later...(both said okay at the same time)

The kids went to the rooms and closed the door.

Annie: Okay so you know what to do right.

Ayush: Yeah but I don't know how to act.

Annie: Stupid you don't have to do much. Just scream

Ayush: okay but when?

Annie: later after dinner...

Ayush: okay...but what if they take me to the hospital and get a shot?

Annie: ummm then you act as if you are fine

Ayush: but...what if they give me a shot anyway?

Annie: Do you want you mom and dad together? (he shakes his head yes) then okay you have to do this

Ayush: fine.

The kids ate their dinner quietly while looking at each other and smiling. After the dinner was over..Annie kicks Ayush to start. He sighs and holds his stomach screaming. Everyone came to his side..

Dadima: Ayush beta what happened?

Ayush: I don't know...I want mumma and papa...

Dadima (holds him) Dev go call Geet and Maan here right now (Annie winks at Ayush..he smiles at her and pretends to be sick when Dadima was looking at him)
