Rohini at the Karva Chauth venue, complains that Naina is the cause of all their troubles and all this she tells in front of all the guests. Daksh is looking on. Rohini asserts that she tells the truth. She says, that Naina broke the relationship between a son and his mother. Daksh asks her to stop accusing and says, and Naina is his m wife. Shyamal comes to Rohini and tells her that she should go. She tells her that washing the dirty linen in public does not show any self respect for oneself. Rohini will not know this, as she has newly seen the city, coming from a backward village. All her prestige hangs on her being the daughter in law of the Patwardhans. Rohini is not satisfied. Says she is not afraid of Naina. She wants Naina to answer. Naina reluctantly tells Rohini that the only answer is that they love each other, and she will never be separated from Daksh and she says to Rohini, "If it is the challenge of telling the truth, it is better you do not force me to tell the truth. I do not want to talk about family matters in public. So I have nothing to say." The lady host blesses Naina. Daksh and Naina leave.
Sonakshi is in her car. Supriya calls her and asks her why she does not reply. Sonakshi tells her that it is now time for Daksh and Naina to know what it costs to go against her. Supriya tells her not to take any rash action. "Tell me where You are" asks the mother but the daughter cuts the phone.
Rohini is back in the house and justifies in her her actions, and gives a long lecture to her mother in law . Ayee tells her "When will you learn to stop talking. Go and rest, father is coming soon", and she wonders where Akruiti has gone. Shyamal tells Ayee that Naina did not say anything. Ayee says that we better stop now, and I do not care about Daksh and Naina.
Daksh tells Naina that she told the right thing to Rohini, and he wonders how much poison is stored in her heart. and he admits that it was not the right thing for her to do and to talk in public about family matters. Naina says that she does not like fights, but she could not stop today. Daksh tells her that she did not do anything wrong. It needed to be said. Naina still continues in her own trend, and even she wants to defend Rohini, and she lowers herself. Again she says, she did not know why she could not resist. Daksh still comforts her and he is very happy that whatevcer happened in that place, it was nice. He liked that Naina told in front of everyone that they love each other. He remembers that they are hungry. She promises to prepare food, but Daksh tells that he will be bringing something from outside. He leaves. Coming back, he asks her what she would like to eat. She tells, "Anything". Tells to bring Bendi fry and dal tadka and gulab jamun. He says, fine and goes. They have lovers' banter, wants to know what she will do in return. He wants her to profess her love. and she tells him, "I love you".
The bell rings, and in comes the psycho. Naina thinks, looking at this girl, what could she have done to deserve this. How many games she has played to get Daklsh from her and as she looks on, Sonakshi begins her long peroration.
Daksh is at the food kiosk and sees Akruti also has come there to buy some food. In Naina's house, she is surprised to see Sonakshi asks how she is. The Psycho tells her that in the end she has won. Naina says that this is a holy union, and not a war. Sonakshi says that it was her plan to snatch Daksh away from her. Naina tries to explain to her, but Sonakshi can not think clearly and argues with Naina telling her that she had many boys to choose from, but she wanted only her Daksh. "You have taken my Daksh. You do not like to see me happy. Now you are starting your own house. Why did you steal my happiness." Naina tells that both of you would not have been happy. Sonakshi says, "If you want to make me happy, it is easy to make me happy, and if you want to know", she points the gun ant Naina, and Naina takes a step back, and the psycho just stares at her and waits. She continues telling her "if you have true love for Daksh, you will prove it", and waits for her answer. Naina gain tries to explain, but the reply she gets, is "Shut up all your nonsense. " The confrontation is prolonged as in spite of coming in the house, all she does is point the gun at Naina, and Naina looks at her fearlessly. Perhaps the dragging is to make Naina sweat it out.
Daksh asks Akruti how she is, and she wants to know how Naina is, and he tells her that Rohini insulted her. He wants to know how the rest are in the house. She tells him, that there is no happiness in the house. Akruti says, that she is surprised her aunt could do this, and is angry and did not give her Naina a blessing. Akruti says, that she will be alone. He tells her that Naina will see that she will never be alone. He tells her to go home soon so that the family does not worry. Daksh takes gulab jamoon and goes home.
Naina asks Sonakshi not to do a stupid thing. Sonakshi tells that if she dies, Daksh can be hers very easily. She tells her, that if she loves Daksh to take up her challenge and and she will have to pay for all her mistakes.
In the precap, Naina escapes from the house, and when Sonakshi finds her, she tells her not to run, or else she will shoot. And Daksh sees them in the nick of time.

Naina escapes from Sonakshi and hides in the room, and Sonakshi wants her to open the door. She frantically yells at her, and Naina runs away from the window. Daksh arrives on a rickshaw and pays the fare to the driver. He sees Naina running away and hiding, and the psycho yells and runs after her and shouts "Now no one can save you today. Come out, come out".. She comes in front of Naina and points the gun again at her, and she runs again, and Sonakshi yells, "I will shoot you, do not run". They stare at each other. Sonakshi shoots and Naina is saved by Supriya as she comes in front of her and takes the gun shot. Sonakshi drops her gun when she sees her mother is wounded and looks upset. Daksh sees them, and as Supriya falls, they save her, and Sonakshi cries, "Mama mama, sorry. I made a mistake". Daksh tells Naina to take care of her mother and he is calls an ambulance. "If I did not do it today, how could I answer God. I am your mother and it is because of me, you had to suffer. " Sonakshi asks "Why are you saying sorry to Naina?". Her mother says that she deserves this punishment. She tells that the younger sister has become the enemy of the older sister. "This is my punishment for forsaking Naina as a baby."
In Patwardhan house, all are deep in mourning, as Akruti enters, and her mother is surprised why she took so much time. She asks where she had gone. Ayee goes shaking her head. Rohini says, "Why are you so late. Are you playing a new game. You have brought disrepute on our family through your behaviour and do not bring more shame." Akruti knows this woman well, and she ignores her and walks away.
In the hospital, Naina is waiting outside the ICU. Sonakshi looks at her and thinks of what her mother said, about her being the younger sister, and Sonakshi has worry written all over her face. Daksh arrives and puts his hand on Naina's shoulder and tells her that he has filed a report. Naina says that her fate is so bad. I wanted to see my mother who gave me birth, and today when I find, she is fighting for her life. "Why is it happening only in my life?" she says and as he embraces her Sonakshi looks at her. Daksh says, "Today, your mother came in front and took the bullet to save your life. It is a pity that some people are so much drenched in hate, they do not see the consequences of their actions."
Joshi arrives and gives moral support to Sonakshi. He comes to yell at Daksh and Naina and asks, Why are you both here". Naina holds his hand and stops Daksh from reacting. Joshi looks at his daughter. He hugs her.
The two sisters are both waiting for the outcome of their mother's condition. Naina says that she was angry with Mrs. Joshi. "When I was a baby she left me, and I was angry. I never tried to find out her problems. I never thought what she went through" she regrets and says, that "The same mother risked her life for me, and she did it only for me. This is the true love of a mother". She prays to God to save her life. Sonakshi asks Naina, diffidently if her mother is also her mother. She is very sad, and she says, "Are we sisters?" Naina looks with pity at her sister. She wants to cry and leaves the place.
Naina is sleeping on a hospital bench and Daksh comes to tell her that Supriya is out of danger, and they can meet her. Sonakshi feels left out and when Daksh takes Naina, because Supriya wants to speak to her. The mother looks sadly at her daughter's face, and she tells her not to cry and she says that her own daughter became her enemy. It was all her fault, and asks forgiveness of her. Naina says "Do not say so, Mama." She says, "It is I who should ask your forgiveness, that after knowing that you were my mother, I did not bother to find out, why you had to give me up. I never for once, thought of what pressures were on you. I turned my face from truth, and it is you my mother, who saved my life in the end, putting her own life at risk. I think this is a true mother's love." The mother says, "It is a small price to pay for not taking care of you, when you needed me most. What answer would I have given God, if you had died?". She tries to say, "Sonakshi wanted to harm you, so if you want, you can make a police complaint against her, as I will not be able to testify against her". But will she do it ?
Joshi is on the line with the police and warns them if they file a FIR they will have to deal with him. He tells his daughter that nothing will happen to her. She tells him, to leave her alone for some time. In the hospital her mother tells her that just as you are my child, she too is mine.
In the precap: The police have come and Naina says that she will speak to them. The Police say, tht the finger prints on the pistol are of Sonakshi and so, Naina should speak first.

Supriya who is in the ICU says that as a mother, she can not complain against Sona, but she will not stop Naina from doing it.
"I will not stop you. I know what you feel" she tells her.
Daksh comes in and tells Naina that Police are waiting to take her statement. she sees the face of her mother and leaves.
The policeman asks if she is Naina and on her confirmation, says to her, "Supriya says that it was an accident, but the pistol was brought from home so since you were the eye witness, you should give us the true story and help the law".
Naina too says that it was an accident. Naina says that it was true accident, and says that her mother is safe.
Police want to confirm that it was an accident. Sonakshi wants to speak. He says that she brought the pistol and the finger prints are hers, so let her speak, Naina asks, why will a daughter want to kill the mother. He says, may be it was aimed at someone else and the mother came in between. He says, that they came to help her and not to harass her. When they are gone, Sonakshi tells Naina not to show that she is better. Naina says that the punishment is from within, from shame, and from losing one's love. She says, that she is happy her mother is safe. The whole matter should be forgotten. Joshi wants to take his daughter away. Daksh looks at his wife as the two Joshis leave the hospital.
In the Patwardhan house Kaka asks how expenses have gone so high. His wife tells him that due to Akruti's mehendi, the money is over. He says, "No mehendi and no money". He is angry and shouts at them. He aims his anger on his daughter and says to his wife that she feeds paneer to her, and spends money on her. Akruti says that she is trying to bring money. He says her wedding she could not have, and now she is talking about other weddings. He sends her out, and her aunt Vibha hugs her. Akruti walks away.
His wife reminds her husband, that Vedant too is starting a new semester.
He says, "Put him to work. There is no money".
The mother says, "My sister in law will speak to Sanket".
He is upset at his wife.
Ayee tells her husband that her sister in law is worried about the tuition fees of her son. She tells him that she will speak to Sanket.
He says, "After you sent Naina Akruti is sitting idle at home without work".
In their house, Daksh asks Naina what troubles her, and she says, that in so few days, her life has changed. She is married, and now a new situation.
"I did not know who gave me birth, and I now know, and find, that my own sister tried to take my life". She asks him what her next step should be. Whether to keep relationship with her mother and sister, or forget the past as water under the bridge.
He tells her that she should let the things happen and she will find things will fall in place. He tells her that she was magnanimous and forgave her sister. He tells her that events make our life change, as it is change is the nature of life itself. "How the change should affect us depends on us", he gives her philosophical answers, and Naina patiently listens to him, and he tells her that this is a new beginning of her life. She embraces him, and they start lighter talk.
The gutless Sanket is being kneaded by his wife like a pliable soft dough. She runs him down saying that his mother now wants all the house expenses to be borne by her husband. She speaks about the expenditure of the child and the down payment for a new car. He just stares at her giving her with disbelief.
Daksh remembers that he has to pay his mother his share for the month, and feels it is his obligation, as that too is his house. Naina agrees with him, even if they do not have any money.
Precap: Rohini yells at her husband and tells him that she did not want this child, and says that spending money on his cousin Vedant is of no use. Her mother in law listens, and then yellss her name aloud, and she stops in her tracks.

Naina finds that there is no money and Daksh says that he has to keep some money for his mother. Daksh asks Naina where she has to go, as she has stopped working, and then he gets the smell of something burning. He goes to find out. Some vegetable dish is burning and Naina says it got burned because she forgot and she complains that she forgets too often. He says that it is normal to forget. They join hands and clean the place.
Kaka is asking Shyamal to keep the magazines to sell. He tells that Vendant was asking for the hostel fees and he asks if she asked her sister in law. and Ayee hears him and says she will ask Sanket. She asks Rohini if Sanket is at home, and she says that he had to go early. Rohini tells her mother not to call now, as the meeting is important. She asks Ayee to bring a glass of milk, and she promises to bring it in two minutes.
Naina is asking why he is looking at her like this, and he says, now he remembers that they are married. She says that she has packed sandwiches, and not to get tea from the canteen. They joke, and says that she has to call some clients. Daksh is asking for a good bye kiss and she rushes him out
Rohini is calling Sanket about an investment for the child. When he brushes her, she says that when she talks about her child he has always excuses, and she thinks what to say next.
Naina calls Akruti and finds her mobile is off. She calls on the land line, and Shyamal picks and says "hello". Ayee takes the call, and no one answers. Nana does not say, but after some time, she cuts the line off.
Sanket tells his mother that he will try, and when she speaks about Vedant, he says they will speak about it at home.
Naina is in a deep thought thinking about her mother in law, and in the old days, how she was and what change has come over her now. All her promises have gone down the drain and she has forgotten everything in her anger. Naina picks up her bag and opens the album to see the family pictures and starts to write a note to her mother in law. She tells her that she joins her hand and asks her forgiveness.
Sanket tells Rohini that they will start the investments from next month, and she grumbles at him, and she pushes him to the wall. When he tells that the whole house is on his head, and also about Vedant. He tells her to wait one month, and she tells him that she tells him that he is not concerned about her child. She asks why he wanted the child, when she had said from the start that she did not want it. She accuses him, and argues why should he think of Vedant. He is as useless... and then Ayee hears and she shouts at her. Rohini in turn shouts at her mother in law also, and she listens to her with her mouth shut . She tries to din some sense in her and comes to see the true colors of her daughter in law. Rohini tells her that Sanket will do as she says. She says her child is the heir and should have been kept on the throne. She tells her that her child will not eat others' left overs. The mother can not understand. And Rohini asks if she is going to solve others problems who will solve their problem. Sanket tries to give courage to his mother. She goes to speak to Shyamal. Rohini feels that she has got the upper hand.
Shyamal faces her sister in law, and they can not exchange words, and Shyamal tells her that she has kept milk for Rohini, and mother thinks of the bitter words of her daughter in law.
Daksh is in bed and tries to speak to Naina, and says that he feels like eating puran poli, and Naina wants to sleep and he gets up and goes to see her and seeing that she is fast asleep, tries to caress her hair.
Akruti goes to her mother and says that she has decided to do some work. Mother does not speak, and Akruti senses that she is trying to hide something. Akruti says if she is worried about her work. The mother says that to talk is one thing and actually earn and bring money is anotheir matter. Akruti stops speaking and goes away.
Precap: Akruti brings the news to Ayee that Naina wants to know how to make puran poli which her cousin wants to eat. The mother listens without saying a word.

Naina is in the kitchen and her mind wanders to the past when the mother of Daksh told her about making of puran poli the favorite sweet of her husband. She remembers how when she said, that the recipe goes above her head, and when she has to make it she will ask her and now she is not there. She decisdes to call home on her mobile. Akruti picks the call and starts talking about herself. When she asks what she called for, Naina tells her that she needed to know how to make the puran poli. She tells her that she has only half recipe and wants to ask mother. Akruti gives the phone to Ayee and tells her that it is Naina on the phone. She tells her that she is making puran poli for her dada, and she wanted to ask her. Rohini is suspicious as the mother in law goes towards the phone and takes it up, and looks at the phone and thinks. She says, that she does not know any Naina, and switches the phone off. Rohini smiles. Naina is sad. Akruti can not understand her aunt.
Naina says, "For how long will she punish me?"
Kaka is telling his wife that no one will give them money and his wife assures him, that her sister in law will find a way. They argue between themselves. he goes away to eat some paan. Akruti stops her aunt, but Rohini intervenes, and harasses her, and tells her that Naina is a outsider. Her mother tells Rohini to stop but Rohini continues her rude and crude talk then Akruti can not bear it any longer and tells her that Naina is not a outsider, but she is the daughter in law of this house. Rohini says that she is the one who stole the son, she broke the house. She tells her that she is the only daughter in law. Rohini speaks a bit too much to Akruti who knows more than she can figure out, but she keeps quiet. She does it out of regard to her aunt. When she tries to get her mother on her side, the mother takes her away from Akruti for her meals.
Naina is trying to talk to Daksh but he is busy and has no time to listen to her. She is annoyed.
Daksh is in the office and gives instructions to his secretary. Naina has come to the office, and he asks why she has come. She tells him, that they made a big mistake by marrying and when she called home to ask for the recipe of making puran poli his mother did not want to speak to her. She says, that if she feels so bad, his mother too must be feeling the same. Daksh takes Naina asisde and tells her that all will turn right. His mother is angry but when she comes to know the truth she will be same as before. We have to give it some time, and wait. He comforts her, and tells her to go home. She teases him, and tells him, that she will do it only if she can get darjeeling tea. Daksh gets her the tea..
Sanket asks Rohini why she called Naina a spy. She tries to poison his mind as well. He says that Akruti and Naina are friends, and if they speak to each other what is the big deal. She suggests to Sanket that Naina's room is vacant and they could convert it into a room for the baby. (Has she forgotten that it is Kaka's room?)
Daksh is at home, and both of them prepare the puran poli and enjoy the food. She tastes and they tease each other. Naina finishes the dish, and then Daksh feels emotional and they come close and she rests her head on his shoulder. He tells her to smile, other wise the fun of the puran poli will be lost.
Rohini is hatching the plan, to take over Naina's room, and then take over Daksh's room, and then she will make the whole house in the name of her child. She dreams and talks to herself and Akruti hears her and is tense thinking of this reptile in the house.
Precap. The news paper man has come, and mother asks Rohini to make the account and in front of the whole house, including Kaka, Rohini questions if Sanket is responsible for the expenses incurred ny everyone in this house. The elders in the house are shocked at the arrogance of this woman, who is climbing over their shoulders and bossing over them. - what will be her fate, when the truth will come out and then she will know the meaning of "Counting one's chickens before they are hatched"

The Patwardan family is discussing Vedant's fees and he tells he has one more day's grace. His father tells him he has no hope, and blames his sister in law. Vedant goes to his Aunt and says why she can not help him. She is helpless. He is told that her hands are tied. The income comes from Sanket and he has to handle all expenses and he can not manage. She tells about Rohini and her child. Kaka looks down with the hand on his head. Vedant is shocked to hear is aunt.
Akruti comes to Vendant, and he says he did not expect this from his aunt. He says, that all his work is wasted. His sister tells him, that all are thinking of him, but she tells him, that because of her their father took money from others for her marriage, and he can not solve the problems. Kaka comes and tells his son, that he has followed his sister's footsteps. He tells him to beg for moey from his friends. He tells him, to try and get a job. He abuses his children, when he has no reply, he tells them, his life will be ruined.
Vedant runs himself down, and his sister tells him to stop. She goes and brings her money from her bank account and tells him to use it and when he finishes his course, she will be the happiest. She tells him to stand on his feet, and all in the house will be proud of him.
Naina tells Daksh what she has packed for his tiffin. She has packed puran poli and chutney. She asks if she could go to the mandir in the evening and he asks why, as he has to come late She tells him, that she will remind him and six thirty. He says, his mother goes every Wednesday to the mandir, and that is why she wants to go. Naina tells until she finds a place in his mother's heart, she can not stop, and she feels that she is incomplete without her. For Diwali, it is necessary to have the whole family together. Daksh goes without his tiffiin.
Kaka is watching the television and complains about the programs. Ayee asks Rohini to make the account of the newspaper-wala, and Kaka talks about his t-v program. Rohini says that every expense has to be borne by her husband, and she complains about the distribution of expenses and income. "Akruti earns, but why then the burden is only put on Sanket.?" is her question. She asks her mother in law that Kaka and his family are full members but when expenses come, it is her part. Ayee stops her and Rohini says it is a game they are playing, and when they are pressured, money comes. She tells that when Vedant needed money Akruti gave, and that shows she has money. Akruti tells that all her savings went for Vedant. She tells her that when she gets a job, she will take the load. Rohini is not interested in her offers, and she gives her money to her mother and tells her to manage the house herself. Rohini leaves, and Kaka tells his wife, that in the world, money is all, when they had money she had no problem. Now when they have no money, Rohini shows off. He tells that Rohini should remember every dog has a day. He says that his children will be always like this, dependent.
Rohini has called an interior decorator and says that she will make a play room for her son out of the Naina's empty room, and he says, that it is his property and for his paying guest. He tells her not to cast her eyes on his room. She tells the man to leave for the time being but start the work. She tells her uncle that all the expenses are paid by her husband. "You are here to eat. The whole house is running on my husband's shoulders" and she tells him to talk, when he can put his share in running the house. Till then, she has the full right to do what she wants with the house, and until the day comes she can take up his share, he should keep his mouth shut.
When she goes he says, "When she earns four annas, she thinks she has become Queen Victoria". Akruti is upset and asks herself why are all people talking like this. She calls Naina and tells her that she wants to meet her, and Naina tells her that her house is her house, and she is welcome at all times.
In the Precap: Rohini has called the family to tell them that she has the right over the whole house, and she wants to make changes in the house. They are all speechless. In the back ground we see also Daksh and Naina.

" The confrontation is prolonged as in spite of coming in the house, all she does is point the gun at Naina, and Naina looks at her fearlessly. Perhaps the dragging is to make Naina sweat it out.
Daksh asks Akruti how she is, and she wants to know how Naina is, and he tells her that Rohini insulted her. He wants to know how the rest are in the house. She tells him, that there is no happiness in the house. Akruti says, that she is surprised her aunt could do this, and is angry and did not give her Naina a blessing. Akruti says, that she will be alone. He tells her that Naina will see that she will never be alone. He tells her to go home soon so that the family does not worry. Daksh takes gulab jamoon and goes home.
Naina asks Sonakshi not to do a stupid thing. Sonakshi tells that if she dies, Daksh can be hers very easily. She tells her, that if she loves Daksh to take up her challenge and and she will have to pay for all her mistakes.
In the precap, Naina escapes from the house, and when Sonakshi finds her, she tells her not to run, or else she will shoot. And Daksh sees them in the nick of time.

Naina escapes from Sonakshi and hides in the room, and Sonakshi wants her to open the door. She frantically yells at her, and Naina runs away from the window. Daksh arrives on a rickshaw and pays the fare to the driver. He sees Naina running away and hiding, and the psycho yells and runs after her and shouts "Now no one can save you today. Come out, come out".. She comes in front of Naina and points the gun again at her, and she runs again, and Sonakshi yells, "I will shoot you, do not run". They stare at each other. Sonakshi shoots and Naina is saved by Supriya as she comes in front of her and takes the gun shot. Sonakshi drops her gun when she sees her mother is wounded and looks upset. Daksh sees them, and as Supriya falls, they save her, and Sonakshi cries, "Mama mama, sorry. I made a mistake". Daksh tells Naina to take care of her mother and he is calls an ambulance. "If I did not do it today, how could I answer God. I am your mother and it is because of me, you had to suffer. " Sonakshi asks "Why are you saying sorry to Naina?". Her mother says that she deserves this punishment. She tells that the younger sister has become the enemy of the older sister. "This is my punishment for forsaking Naina as a baby."
In Patwardhan house, all are deep in mourning, as Akruti enters, and her mother is surprised why she took so much time. She asks where she had gone. Ayee goes shaking her head. Rohini says, "Why are you so late. Are you playing a new game. You have brought disrepute on our family through your behaviour and do not bring more shame." Akruti knows this woman well, and she ignores her and walks away.
In the hospital, Naina is waiting outside the ICU. Sonakshi looks at her and thinks of what her mother said, about her being the younger sister, and Sonakshi has worry written all over her face. Daksh arrives and puts his hand on Naina's shoulder and tells her that he has filed a report. Naina says that her fate is so bad. I wanted to see my mother who gave me birth, and today when I find, she is fighting for her life. "Why is it happening only in my life?" she says and as he embraces her Sonakshi looks at her. Daksh says, "Today, your mother came in front and took the bullet to save your life. It is a pity that some people are so much drenched in hate, they do not see the consequences of their actions."
Joshi arrives and gives moral support to Sonakshi. He comes to yell at Daksh and Naina and asks, Why are you both here". Naina holds his hand and stops Daksh from reacting. Joshi looks at his daughter. He hugs her.
The two sisters are both waiting for the outcome of their mother's condition. Naina says that she was angry with Mrs. Joshi. "When I was a baby she left me, and I was angry. I never tried to find out her problems. I never thought what she went through" she regrets and says, that "The same mother risked her life for me, and she did it only for me. This is the true love of a mother". She prays to God to save her life. Sonakshi asks Naina, diffidently if her mother is also her mother. She is very sad, and she says, "Are we sisters?" Naina looks with pity at her sister. She wants to cry and leaves the place.
Naina is sleeping on a hospital bench and Daksh comes to tell her that Supriya is out of danger, and they can meet her. Sonakshi feels left out and when Daksh takes Naina, because Supriya wants to speak to her. The mother looks sadly at her daughter's face, and she tells her not to cry and she says that her own daughter became her enemy. It was all her fault, and asks forgiveness of her. Naina says "Do not say so, Mama." She says, "It is I who should ask your forgiveness, that after knowing that you were my mother, I did not bother to find out, why you had to give me up. I never for once, thought of what pressures were on you. I turned my face from truth, and it is you my mother, who saved my life in the end, putting her own life at risk. I think this is a true mother's love." The mother says, "It is a small price to pay for not taking care of you, when you needed me most. What answer would I have given God, if you had died?". She tries to say, "Sonakshi wanted to harm you, so if you want, you can make a police complaint against her, as I will not be able to testify against her". But will she do it ?
Joshi is on the line with the police and warns them if they file a FIR they will have to deal with him. He tells his daughter that nothing will happen to her. She tells him, to leave her alone for some time. In the hospital her mother tells her that just as you are my child, she too is mine.
In the precap: The police have come and Naina says that she will speak to them. The Police say, tht the finger prints on the pistol are of Sonakshi and so, Naina should speak first.

Supriya who is in the ICU says that as a mother, she can not complain against Sona, but she will not stop Naina from doing it.
"I will not stop you. I know what you feel" she tells her.
Daksh comes in and tells Naina that Police are waiting to take her statement. she sees the face of her mother and leaves.
The policeman asks if she is Naina and on her confirmation, says to her, "Supriya says that it was an accident, but the pistol was brought from home so since you were the eye witness, you should give us the true story and help the law".
Naina too says that it was an accident. Naina says that it was true accident, and says that her mother is safe.
Police want to confirm that it was an accident. Sonakshi wants to speak. He says that she brought the pistol and the finger prints are hers, so let her speak, Naina asks, why will a daughter want to kill the mother. He says, may be it was aimed at someone else and the mother came in between. He says, that they came to help her and not to harass her. When they are gone, Sonakshi tells Naina not to show that she is better. Naina says that the punishment is from within, from shame, and from losing one's love. She says, that she is happy her mother is safe. The whole matter should be forgotten. Joshi wants to take his daughter away. Daksh looks at his wife as the two Joshis leave the hospital.
In the Patwardhan house Kaka asks how expenses have gone so high. His wife tells him that due to Akruti's mehendi, the money is over. He says, "No mehendi and no money". He is angry and shouts at them. He aims his anger on his daughter and says to his wife that she feeds paneer to her, and spends money on her. Akruti says that she is trying to bring money. He says her wedding she could not have, and now she is talking about other weddings. He sends her out, and her aunt Vibha hugs her. Akruti walks away.
His wife reminds her husband, that Vedant too is starting a new semester.
He says, "Put him to work. There is no money".
The mother says, "My sister in law will speak to Sanket".
He is upset at his wife.
Ayee tells her husband that her sister in law is worried about the tuition fees of her son. She tells him that she will speak to Sanket.
He says, "After you sent Naina Akruti is sitting idle at home without work".
In their house, Daksh asks Naina what troubles her, and she says, that in so few days, her life has changed. She is married, and now a new situation.
"I did not know who gave me birth, and I now know, and find, that my own sister tried to take my life". She asks him what her next step should be. Whether to keep relationship with her mother and sister, or forget the past as water under the bridge.
He tells her that she should let the things happen and she will find things will fall in place. He tells her that she was magnanimous and forgave her sister. He tells her that events make our life change, as it is change is the nature of life itself. "How the change should affect us depends on us", he gives her philosophical answers, and Naina patiently listens to him, and he tells her that this is a new beginning of her life. She embraces him, and they start lighter talk.
The gutless Sanket is being kneaded by his wife like a pliable soft dough. She runs him down saying that his mother now wants all the house expenses to be borne by her husband. She speaks about the expenditure of the child and the down payment for a new car. He just stares at her giving her with disbelief.
Daksh remembers that he has to pay his mother his share for the month, and feels it is his obligation, as that too is his house. Naina agrees with him, even if they do not have any money.
Precap: Rohini yells at her husband and tells him that she did not want this child, and says that spending money on his cousin Vedant is of no use. Her mother in law listens, and then yellss her name aloud, and she stops in her tracks.

Naina finds that there is no money and Daksh says that he has to keep some money for his mother. Daksh asks Naina where she has to go, as she has stopped working, and then he gets the smell of something burning. He goes to find out. Some vegetable dish is burning and Naina says it got burned because she forgot and she complains that she forgets too often. He says that it is normal to forget. They join hands and clean the place.
Kaka is asking Shyamal to keep the magazines to sell. He tells that Vendant was asking for the hostel fees and he asks if she asked her sister in law. and Ayee hears him and says she will ask Sanket. She asks Rohini if Sanket is at home, and she says that he had to go early. Rohini tells her mother not to call now, as the meeting is important. She asks Ayee to bring a glass of milk, and she promises to bring it in two minutes.
Naina is asking why he is looking at her like this, and he says, now he remembers that they are married. She says that she has packed sandwiches, and not to get tea from the canteen. They joke, and says that she has to call some clients. Daksh is asking for a good bye kiss and she rushes him out
Rohini is calling Sanket about an investment for the child. When he brushes her, she says that when she talks about her child he has always excuses, and she thinks what to say next.
Naina calls Akruti and finds her mobile is off. She calls on the land line, and Shyamal picks and says "hello". Ayee takes the call, and no one answers. Nana does not say, but after some time, she cuts the line off.
Sanket tells his mother that he will try, and when she speaks about Vedant, he says they will speak about it at home.
Naina is in a deep thought thinking about her mother in law, and in the old days, how she was and what change has come over her now. All her promises have gone down the drain and she has forgotten everything in her anger. Naina picks up her bag and opens the album to see the family pictures and starts to write a note to her mother in law. She tells her that she joins her hand and asks her forgiveness.
Sanket tells Rohini that they will start the investments from next month, and she grumbles at him, and she pushes him to the wall. When he tells that the whole house is on his head, and also about Vedant. He tells her to wait one month, and she tells him that she tells him that he is not concerned about her child. She asks why he wanted the child, when she had said from the start that she did not want it. She accuses him, and argues why should he think of Vedant. He is as useless... and then Ayee hears and she shouts at her. Rohini in turn shouts at her mother in law also, and she listens to her with her mouth shut . She tries to din some sense in her and comes to see the true colors of her daughter in law. Rohini tells her that Sanket will do as she says. She says her child is the heir and should have been kept on the throne. She tells her that her child will not eat others' left overs. The mother can not understand. And Rohini asks if she is going to solve others problems who will solve their problem. Sanket tries to give courage to his mother. She goes to speak to Shyamal. Rohini feels that she has got the upper hand.
Shyamal faces her sister in law, and they can not exchange words, and Shyamal tells her that she has kept milk for Rohini, and mother thinks of the bitter words of her daughter in law.
Daksh is in bed and tries to speak to Naina, and says that he feels like eating puran poli, and Naina wants to sleep and he gets up and goes to see her and seeing that she is fast asleep, tries to caress her hair.
Akruti goes to her mother and says that she has decided to do some work. Mother does not speak, and Akruti senses that she is trying to hide something. Akruti says if she is worried about her work. The mother says that to talk is one thing and actually earn and bring money is anotheir matter. Akruti stops speaking and goes away.
Precap: Akruti brings the news to Ayee that Naina wants to know how to make puran poli which her cousin wants to eat. The mother listens without saying a word.

Naina is in the kitchen and her mind wanders to the past when the mother of Daksh told her about making of puran poli the favorite sweet of her husband. She remembers how when she said, that the recipe goes above her head, and when she has to make it she will ask her and now she is not there. She decisdes to call home on her mobile. Akruti picks the call and starts talking about herself. When she asks what she called for, Naina tells her that she needed to know how to make the puran poli. She tells her that she has only half recipe and wants to ask mother. Akruti gives the phone to Ayee and tells her that it is Naina on the phone. She tells her that she is making puran poli for her dada, and she wanted to ask her. Rohini is suspicious as the mother in law goes towards the phone and takes it up, and looks at the phone and thinks. She says, that she does not know any Naina, and switches the phone off. Rohini smiles. Naina is sad. Akruti can not understand her aunt.
Naina says, "For how long will she punish me?"
Kaka is telling his wife that no one will give them money and his wife assures him, that her sister in law will find a way. They argue between themselves. he goes away to eat some paan. Akruti stops her aunt, but Rohini intervenes, and harasses her, and tells her that Naina is a outsider. Her mother tells Rohini to stop but Rohini continues her rude and crude talk then Akruti can not bear it any longer and tells her that Naina is not a outsider, but she is the daughter in law of this house. Rohini says that she is the one who stole the son, she broke the house. She tells her that she is the only daughter in law. Rohini speaks a bit too much to Akruti who knows more than she can figure out, but she keeps quiet. She does it out of regard to her aunt. When she tries to get her mother on her side, the mother takes her away from Akruti for her meals.
Naina is trying to talk to Daksh but he is busy and has no time to listen to her. She is annoyed.
Daksh is in the office and gives instructions to his secretary. Naina has come to the office, and he asks why she has come. She tells him, that they made a big mistake by marrying and when she called home to ask for the recipe of making puran poli his mother did not want to speak to her. She says, that if she feels so bad, his mother too must be feeling the same. Daksh takes Naina asisde and tells her that all will turn right. His mother is angry but when she comes to know the truth she will be same as before. We have to give it some time, and wait. He comforts her, and tells her to go home. She teases him, and tells him, that she will do it only if she can get darjeeling tea. Daksh gets her the tea..
Sanket asks Rohini why she called Naina a spy. She tries to poison his mind as well. He says that Akruti and Naina are friends, and if they speak to each other what is the big deal. She suggests to Sanket that Naina's room is vacant and they could convert it into a room for the baby. (Has she forgotten that it is Kaka's room?)
Daksh is at home, and both of them prepare the puran poli and enjoy the food. She tastes and they tease each other. Naina finishes the dish, and then Daksh feels emotional and they come close and she rests her head on his shoulder. He tells her to smile, other wise the fun of the puran poli will be lost.
Rohini is hatching the plan, to take over Naina's room, and then take over Daksh's room, and then she will make the whole house in the name of her child. She dreams and talks to herself and Akruti hears her and is tense thinking of this reptile in the house.
Precap. The news paper man has come, and mother asks Rohini to make the account and in front of the whole house, including Kaka, Rohini questions if Sanket is responsible for the expenses incurred ny everyone in this house. The elders in the house are shocked at the arrogance of this woman, who is climbing over their shoulders and bossing over them. - what will be her fate, when the truth will come out and then she will know the meaning of "Counting one's chickens before they are hatched"

The Patwardan family is discussing Vedant's fees and he tells he has one more day's grace. His father tells him he has no hope, and blames his sister in law. Vedant goes to his Aunt and says why she can not help him. She is helpless. He is told that her hands are tied. The income comes from Sanket and he has to handle all expenses and he can not manage. She tells about Rohini and her child. Kaka looks down with the hand on his head. Vedant is shocked to hear is aunt.
Akruti comes to Vendant, and he says he did not expect this from his aunt. He says, that all his work is wasted. His sister tells him, that all are thinking of him, but she tells him, that because of her their father took money from others for her marriage, and he can not solve the problems. Kaka comes and tells his son, that he has followed his sister's footsteps. He tells him to beg for moey from his friends. He tells him, to try and get a job. He abuses his children, when he has no reply, he tells them, his life will be ruined.
Vedant runs himself down, and his sister tells him to stop. She goes and brings her money from her bank account and tells him to use it and when he finishes his course, she will be the happiest. She tells him to stand on his feet, and all in the house will be proud of him.
Naina tells Daksh what she has packed for his tiffin. She has packed puran poli and chutney. She asks if she could go to the mandir in the evening and he asks why, as he has to come late She tells him, that she will remind him and six thirty. He says, his mother goes every Wednesday to the mandir, and that is why she wants to go. Naina tells until she finds a place in his mother's heart, she can not stop, and she feels that she is incomplete without her. For Diwali, it is necessary to have the whole family together. Daksh goes without his tiffiin.
Kaka is watching the television and complains about the programs. Ayee asks Rohini to make the account of the newspaper-wala, and Kaka talks about his t-v program. Rohini says that every expense has to be borne by her husband, and she complains about the distribution of expenses and income. "Akruti earns, but why then the burden is only put on Sanket.?" is her question. She asks her mother in law that Kaka and his family are full members but when expenses come, it is her part. Ayee stops her and Rohini says it is a game they are playing, and when they are pressured, money comes. She tells that when Vedant needed money Akruti gave, and that shows she has money. Akruti tells that all her savings went for Vedant. She tells her that when she gets a job, she will take the load. Rohini is not interested in her offers, and she gives her money to her mother and tells her to manage the house herself. Rohini leaves, and Kaka tells his wife, that in the world, money is all, when they had money she had no problem. Now when they have no money, Rohini shows off. He tells that Rohini should remember every dog has a day. He says that his children will be always like this, dependent.
Rohini has called an interior decorator and says that she will make a play room for her son out of the Naina's empty room, and he says, that it is his property and for his paying guest. He tells her not to cast her eyes on his room. She tells the man to leave for the time being but start the work. She tells her uncle that all the expenses are paid by her husband. "You are here to eat. The whole house is running on my husband's shoulders" and she tells him to talk, when he can put his share in running the house. Till then, she has the full right to do what she wants with the house, and until the day comes she can take up his share, he should keep his mouth shut.
When she goes he says, "When she earns four annas, she thinks she has become Queen Victoria". Akruti is upset and asks herself why are all people talking like this. She calls Naina and tells her that she wants to meet her, and Naina tells her that her house is her house, and she is welcome at all times.
In the Precap: Rohini has called the family to tell them that she has the right over the whole house, and she wants to make changes in the house. They are all speechless. In the back ground we see also Daksh and Naina.
