The best MUJRAS in Bollywood, your favorites?!

😉😉😉 Mujras have become a interesting and integral part of Bollywood films, they are indeed very beautiful and deserve more recognition. Let's just say, they are poetry on celluoid! What are your favorite mujras in the past and present? We all know Rekha was known for her classic mujras in Umrao Jaan. However, Aish and Madhuri did some great ones in Devdas and the new version of Umrao Jaan, Rani for her mujra number in Mangal Pandey, and now Kareena is doing an upcoming one in Dhuaan with Aamir Khan.

Before I share I dunno why Mujra songs are the type I love! The kathak...the chanak of the ghungroos I love it...I just love the whole dance and the jewellery...gosh I wish i learnt it :) it've been awesome =D

OMG Ruky!!!! 🤗 Amazing choices and all my favorites! I watched Aish's Umrao Jaan at least 50 to 100 times! I am not kidding! I loved that movie, was J.P. Dutta's best work! 😭 And Madhuri was simply beautiful and graceful in Devdas! But, noone can beat Rekha, the eternal queen of the mujra!!!!

JP Duttas best was BORDER. New Umrao Jaan failed in the Urdu department. The dialogues were not written in pure Urdu. Its not a bad film, but not a great one either. But Aish was amazing in it, even Rekha said she loved Aish in the film but didnt comment abt da film 😆

I might sound stupid but what is "Mujra"? I've seen something related to it being posted here a few times but dunno the meaning and don't wanna ask my mom in case it's something inappropriate. :/
