i have a feeling that the entire business of walias probably belonged to bani's family and due to her mother's death may be somehow jai walia must have taken everything in his hands so he wants to hide all this from bani.

i dunno if this has been mentioned before but incase that really is the reason, meaning Jai asking Bani for divorce knowing that he may hae killed her mum, thn in that case he wudnt have asked for Pia's hand in marraige.

and there was a mention of a court case having been taken to the divorce judge and jai being so scared coz of that reason. Incase it were so, Bani's father wud hae known abt it and may not have sent the daughters to his house.

but then on the other and, he may have known that in such a case Jai wud never have refused taking te girl's in. hey and in that case, jai wud have wanted to help the sisters rather than trying to test their capabilities and things in the beginning.
